Kup is SS class supporting character. Blur is just a gimmick but he's not as annoying as he could be. Rodimus is a step down from Optimus, but Ultra Magnus provides the wisdom, restraint, and experience as a mentor. The others are just okay.

I used to be a massive Blurrgay when I was younger. It started with the Animated show, but I still went back and enjoyed the G1 show. I also went through and hunted down all of his appearances throughout Transformers media. He was the only one I really cared about, though now I don't really care about him.
Good tropes of Star Wars turned into Transformers:

Threepio: Perceptor
Leia: Arcee
Grimlock: Chewbacca
You have to arrive at a certain time to make it into Cybertrons orbit, you miss that window and enjoy space. If you leave mass behind, it takes less energy to increase your volocity.

I still feel Generations Springer is the superior mold, and Sandstorm was an incredible retool.
