Tom Taylor and Tini Howard are indeed terrible and it's very frustrating that they're getting so much power at DC.

The Batfamily war does sound really stupid, though I think Zdarsky will make it entertaining at least. But Bat-editorial has this obsession every 5 years or so to break up the Batfamily (War Games, Death of the Family, etc), so it was bound to happen sometime.
Hawkgirl sucked for sure, but honestly, the more people ignore it, the faster it will go away. I worry that a ton of people hate bought the first issue and will get it extended.
Shush sounds both hilarious and awesome. Williams killed it on the Robin book, and this will probably be more of that.
Wish they'd give Adams a third book, though - he's getting GL and Jay Garrick, but I think it'd be good if he could piggyback with Williamson on the next summer event or something. Especially since he's on strike for TV and movies.

Do you want them to just cancel all the Batbooks? This is ridiculous. They are increasing their non-Batbooks significantly and giving them pretty good promotion and decent creative teams (Hawkgirl and Power Girl aside. And even Hawkgirl has a pretty good artist.)

The basic premise is moronic, and his Selina is as out of character and moronic as Howard's.

They've had one or two Bat books announced, but over half a dozen Superman and other JL titles popping up all over the place. Superman's getting a push we haven't seen since Rebirth. This obsession from three years ago when Batman WAS being way overexposed needs to chill out when DC makes the responsible step back, instead of continuing to complain when they do the right thing.
I still don't know what is and isn't canon. They should have just, at the start of Dawn, instead of that awful Mark Waid book with the appendices of multiple Earths, made a new 0 Issue for every book explaining what's the origin and gloss over every major event they can fit and then make a new History of the DCU anthology that goes more in depth.
As comics themselves, the art is worst line wide lots of 3d poser art now, new characters that were pushed hard are now just MIA, I feel like a fool for buying into the Red Canary hype. And someone should be fired for green lighting Knight Terrors so soon after Fear State
Fear State didn't have anywhere close to the same vibes as Knight Terrors. Knight Terrors is a Sandman style spinoff with tons of supernatural stuff. Fear State was a Batfamily crossover based on Tynion's Memetic/Cognetic/Eugenic style of books, completely different in concept and feel.
A horrific embarrassment the editors and higher-ups have been such incompetent buttholes for so long that they've driven off almost every remotely decent writer.
Even if they had a bunch of good ones left they'd still be hobbled by the terrible ideas of those editors.

Honestly, after a very lackluster first quarter, I think it's slowly building a lot of good momentum. Even Knight Terrors has largely been pretty good. I definitely hear a lot more positive than I remember hearing in the first half of the year Infinite Frontier started. Though of course nothing close to the absolute excitement of Rebirth for the first two years.

Dawn of DC so far has been a lot worse than Infinite Frontier, though in either case we're still better off than we from 2011-2020. Also, no matter how bad DC gets, Marvel is always somehow worse, so as current capeshit goes we're still on top.

ALL company cross overs should be ONE month long.
the main series should be in 4 issues long and released every week.

Well, I will admit I have not read Blackest Night. I'm not saying it's better than other events, just that it's been fun to read so far.
But I will be upfront about my taste and say I also liked Dark Crisis.
