Anyone else worried about what happens after Flat?
All the designs follow technological trends or represent what was possible with the technology of their time. But as of 2023, I have yet to see signs of a dramatic shift in visual design for a new era.
Bots Master is clearly Memphis
Reboot is probably the best fit for Y2K
You could probably put whatever you want out now in the Flat Design category. Lots of titles fit, so it depends on what you think is the most fitting. Bluey comes immediately to mind, although I'm sure there are others which might fit better or will end up better known.
I'm not sure about any cartoons that fit the Frutiger Aero style. I can think of other media and even anime, but I don't recall any cartoons that really screen the Frutiger design.

It's not gonna evolve past Flat. People are too lazy now to create new styles and are comfortable keeping their athleisure forever.
