Disagree. There are unnecessary sex scenes where the sex should be implied because it adds nothing to the story but in a revenge/horror movie showing the rape is showing the crime that justifies the revenge and exemplifies the horror. The more explicit and drawn out the rape scene is it will make the viewer side with the victim’s actions more.

It came out when I was a child. I saw a brief scene of it and it scared me and I'm still too scared to see it. I watched the original tho

I loved it. I actually saw it with my Dad. I got so hyped when the revenge started I cheered in a theater. He was ready to move away so nobody thought he knew me.
I thought it was decent. 2 was kinda shit though but that was expected.
The intro to 2 is great tho

I saw it in theaters when i was a teen and it was one of the most fun horror experiences i’ve ever had. It’s still great. The rape is very on point.
