    He wouldn’t accept it.

      This.

Or he'd just put it in his savings account.

This. He would write returnt o sender on it and stick it right back in the mailbox making sure to put the little flag up.

      Or, lawn products.
To stimulate the economy, like a proper American.

        >stimulate the economy
That's a weird way to spell destroy our standard of living

he would, the government gave it to him with the intent that he spend it but Hank hates frivolous spending. actually a great episode idea

Nah, he wouldn’t care if the government gave it. There’s an entire episode where he feels wrong being on disability leave

I figured that was him thinking he was "cheating the system" despite having a legitimate issue. Given how many people got one, I doubt he'd refuse. Certainly insist on "investing it in America" and 'ave some silly shenanigans while he's at it

          gosh what a complex character

He'd debate accepting it. Peggy would secretly spend it on some asinine bullshit but fail to learn a lesson from it. Someone would somehow settle the bullshit Peggy caused. Then Hank would do something wholesome like put the money away for savings for Bobby or take the family out on some bbq related vacation.

Hank would not act however your personal politics would have you believe. He is simply a wholesome fictional texan man that loves his family and would act as such.

I’m going by episodes such as the one where he has a back injury
        >What your back needs is rest. Just have your office send over your workers' compensation forms and I'll sign off on them.
        >Workers' comp? Do I look like a hobo to you? No, sir! I'm not going on welfare.
Maybe actually watch the show before you pop off about biases

B plots is Bill and Dale trying to figure out what to spend theirs on.

Dale wouldn't accept it, doing so would confirm he has a bank account and those are controlled by the MACHINES.

Bill would spend it on some random shit and then when questioned on it by Hank he'd say "we got stimulus checks?"

      Anonymous

Lies, he'd take it and put it into his savings safe. There was a whole episode of how he WOULDN'T spend his bonus but him and Peggy we're giddy about it.

It'd be along and arduous journey going to various government offices to try and get them to reverse the automatic transfer to his checking account based on his tax information.
      >Dang nabbit the government can't force me to take this money
The resolution would be he thinks it was reversed and all is right with the world, but in actuality Peggy spent it on something stupid.

Bill would spend his stimulus on a down payment for something he can't afford and get roped into being the face man for Dale to defraud the government of a small business loan for a fictional company needing COVID relief. Bill needs the money to pay for his new 37% APR lawn furniture.

Dale would be seething he can't get a check due to not filing taxes and obfuscating his fumigation companies revenue, so cook up the scam for a million dollar covid relief loan with Bill and rusty shackelford as the bag holder.

Strickland would plan on getting the same type of frivolous loan and shuttering his propane company for the free windfall, but the funds will be exhausted due to Dale and others beating him to the punch, forcing him to keep the propane and propane accessories store open and Hank employed.

Ever read Baki? Miyamoto Musashi is such a master of the sword that he can cut people with no blade. Hank is similar to Musashi in that he can grill with no propane tank by sheer force of mastery.

He'd return to sender it and include a letter saying no thank you The Hill Residence. Bobby would complain to him about all the comedy classes it would pay for and would spend the rest of the episode trying to figure out how he could get the check out of the mailbox and cash it without his dad knowing with Joseph helping. On the way to the mail box he'd see Dale riding around on the dangerously unmaintained dirt bike he bought used.

Hank Hill bought a new truck with his stimulus check. He was so excited to get it that he drove it around town for a few days before he realized that he didn't have any money to pay for gas.
