It is illegal for women to have large breasts. They are completely unnatural

      Anonymous

      Less unnatural more, inherently sexual

Imagine if you were a woman (you never will be but still) born with naturally large breasts and suddenly all the media around you acted like that was a horrible thing to be covered up and shunned, and that a normal part of your body was something that apparently shouldn't even exist. It's kind of fricked up when you think about it.

I guarantee you girls with big breasts are fine, they don't need media to reinforce their worth.

We've known for decades that media portrayals can create negative self-image issues in young women, often leading to deleterious effects like eating disorders. Were I more pessimistic, I'd attribute the disturbing trend of girls getting their breasts removed to this stuff too

I mentioned it primarily because the effects are more obviously observable in women since their gender has the higher rates of anorexia/bulimia, and constitute more of the market share for cosmetic surgery. Not saying men aren't affected either, but you didn't have to whine like a b***h and go
          >But what about meeeeeeeeee?

Most guys I know dont care about a buff guy on the tv. Either they dont care, compliment him on his gains, or say ‘damn I should work out like him’ and work towards it. I do know some guys feel self conscious about fat and summer bods and taken to the extreme it can lead to dehydration and steroid use.
It is viewed negatively to be anorexic, get roided out, and be an obese glutton (despite what some media try to say about being fat). Even things like nose jobs or plastic breast surgery is common enough to be well known, but still people see it as "fake". It is weird to hear breast expansion bad, breast reduction good from some people.

            >It is weird to hear breast expansion bad, breast reduction good from some people
IMO it's the reasons behind it that make it positive or negative. Some women get breast reductions to be more comfortable, and get told that they "ruined their body" or whatever. As if their first priority was supposed to be looking good for the benefit of others

Any attempt at highlighting these issues are shrugged off by fellow men or looked as being nanny in conservative circles. Largely I suspect because people don't know how to articulate what the issue is with each other.

Cinemaphile itself is a great example as you can see for example over the decades it has gone from wondering why blacks care about representation in shows to b***hing about 100% original shows having black stars. Identification and safe spaces are important for everyone.

This actually fricked with me when I was a bit younger. I saw cartoons and videos games getting rid of boobs or making them smaller and so I tried to wear smaller sports bras to try and make my boobs look smaller. Really messed with me thinking I was gross and wrong. Thankfully I've moved past it.
I'm really sick of companies doing this. It's awful for the way it makes young girls view themselves.
