This is actually a very common arc for smart women:
1st loves are androgynous young men. Harry Styles, BTS, early Leo in Titanic. They are "safe" as they aren't too manly. Women that are very immature would stay in this phase.
2nd loves are bad boys. These are more masculine, darker personality types. These men are more sexually desirable to them. Women that are dumb stay in this phase, but most women pass through this stage when younger.
3rd type is Sam. He isn't that manly, but he is at least masculine. He's a loving father and partner, loyal, brave, emotionally accessible, and humble. The ultimate partner where they can be happy together. This phase is reached with women who are not dumb and relatively well-adjusted.

I think men have a similar thing where they go through phases. For example when I was a young lad I just wanted to snuggle up to a young woman and fall asleep with her in my arms.

There aren't as such things as objective "tiers", it's just about preference and personality types; it's all subjective. Sam would be "low tier" to women in phase 2, but "high tier" to women in Phase 3 (as the artist states). Same dude

The crazy thing about all these people seething about this is they miss the point. Samwise, Legolas, and Eragorn all have the most important trait in being a chad. Their shit together.
