Wasted potential and low budget severely limits what they can do.
This, and then add on just sheer laziness in the worst possible way.
And I say this as a Sonic fan who has enjoyed Every Sonic show.
I would rather watch fricking Sonic Underground then this shit.
It ironically had a very high budget. Financial backing from Netflix, SEGA, etcetera. Wildbrain made a promotional video where they said Sonic Prime was the highest Budget project they had ever worked on.
It's just shit because they literally hired all their shitter animators off of sonic troon twitter
I only watched the first "season".
Has pretty good animation at points as far as Sonic shows go, but the writing is aggressively mediocre. Sonic is written as an annoying moron for some reason, and it felt like you could cut half the episodes out and tell the exact same story with significantly less filler. Also the Eggmen are pretty lackluster, which a shame since Eggman is usually one of the better parts of any Sonic show.
I don't feel any real desire to watch any more than what I've seen. Overall I liked Boom more even though its presentation was significantly worse.
I think the fight scenes are way too long and uninteresting. I miss the slice-of-life comedy from Boom. And for being a multiverse story, I feel like it's very small. I personally do like how they changed Rouge now, she feels more like a real character like everyone else instead of just a sexy sex-symbol who's only defining trait is her sexiness.
>She didn't have a character before because you can't be sexy and have a personality at the same time
How to tell people you've never played Sonic Adventure 2 without saying you've never played Sonic Adventure 2
>instead of just a sexy sex-symbol who's only defining trait is her sexiness
This is a children's IP. She was never defined by her "sexiness", you've just let the internet influence how you view the character.
If anything her character bounced between being a government agent and a israeliteel thief.
now she's just nothing. A glorified npc who doesn't flirt, steal or connive, she just says exposition and fights the robots and acts like all the other generic good guy mooks
>I personally do like how they changed Rouge now, she feels more like a real character
This is a weird stance when every instance beyond episode 1 is not her at all.
has someone dumped the models?
>rouge is in it
>she's flat
What the frick is wrong with them?

Kids might see breasts and grow up straight.
you want to create more furries?

I heard it's multiverse shit so I never even bothered. Boom had its moments though
Boring, alt versions of characters is lame. Its content doesn't inspire anything in the fandom and it shows
Fine for what it is but as a multiverse show, "Sonic but _____" is just so boring.

Pretty much. I was actually going to ask how her character in Prime could actually be defined outside "additional girl member of the cast".

At no point does Rouge breastfeed Tails. 4/10, don't like it.
>that ep where Eggman built a robot shota and Rouge suckled both Tails and he off one teat each
I loved Sonic X
I only watch it for Tails.
