What do other Marvel heroes feel/think about Ghost Rider?

What do other Marvel heroes feel/think about Ghost Rider? At this point it feels like Johnny and Danny are "people we don't mention" tier heroes canon doesn't like to acknowledge. Is it because they're biblically OP? Is Ghost Rider the end all be all judge, jury, and executioner of the Marvel universe given that he can see the guilty without question? Where is his place in canon? How would you fix him (if needed)?

I think people are just scared of the dude.

    >Johnny Blaze
He's a menace. He's more trouble than he's worth, the vast majority of heroes just don't bother with him anymore. He was the king of hell for a time but now that he's back doing his demon hunting thing.
    >Danny Ketch
He lost his powers ages ago. He's now just a guy.
    >Alejandro
    Still just a burning skeleton.
    >Robbie Reyes
Surprisingly he has become the Ghost Rider everyone works with. Probably because he didn't care about becoming god. He even fought king of hell Johnny. Anyway he became an Avenger, in the most recent thing he sacrificed himself to save everyone. And now he's left to just rebuild his car by himself.

Also yes the riders are some of the most OP characters in Marvel. The only thing that can stop them is holy objects which most people can't use with ill intention.

I think if you want to "fix" him they should lean more into the biblical aspect instead of just relying on demons. These days Blaze fights the cast of Hazbin Hotel. Also new writers need to learn how the Penace Stare works and understand that just because you don't regret any killing you've done doesn't make you immune to it. I know it's been 10 years since that Punisher story but it still pisses me off. Same goes for how he used the penace stare on Galaxus.

No he's the spirit of corruption

Secondaries and casuals will call out Frank for plot armor and GR for jobbing when the comic explains Frank had an angel feather to protect him. Don’t you love it when everyone posts one page out of context every time someone mentions Ghost Rider?

      >Also new writers need to learn how the Penace Stare works

Holy frick yes. Marvel needs to get their house in order and get a strong editor who's going to put his foot down about shit like this. Say what you will about Jim Shooter but there was an editor who kept the writers in line.

Also I think Carol Danvers no-selling the Penance Star was especially egregious.

      >Marvel was about to make this character job to Wanda in that Doctor Stange movie
Ngl seeing the jobber stare in live action would have been fun

It is awesome. The Nick Cage movies do it really well.

One on the one hand I feel like the Punisher shouldn't be able to be protected by of all things a single angel feather - it's a pretty shit explanation and kind of implies that all the angels are immune to the Penance Stare and it's super easy to become immune, but on the other I guess fine. It's no dumber than 95% of the rest of capeshit.

Also I don't love it. I'd just as soon it never happens.

Galactus? You mean the kino scene from the Fantastic Four cartoon? It was about time the big G got what was coming for him.

Yeah, but some people argue that it shouldn't work on Galactus because they don't understand how it works.

In my og post I meant that I don't care for having to explain to non-ghost rider readers why the Penace Stare would work when they say "Galactus doesn't feel guilt for what he does because he's a force of nature". It's insufferable.

Fair. Though I'm not sure if it's supposed to fail because of how powerful in the cosmic scale he is.
Wrse even, how about that stupid comic where Thanos just keeps using it on himself because he enjoys it?

No one cares. He isn't biblically OP because the nature of comics means he never actually stops the threats that become massive crossover events and jobs to small time characters so he just seems impotent and flashy without any substance. He's a Methodists idea of a rebellious, nuanced antihero. GR's powers are so ill defined but the only common thread is Vehicles With Burning Tires. I both love and hate the character.

Ghost Rider ain't that powerful. Physically he is basically a Luke Cage but with fire powers and a supernatural vehicle. Writers have to wank off Ghost Rider and job characters like Doctor Strange, Hulk, Thor, and etc to make Ghost Rider seem more powerful than he actually is.

I'm pretty sure he's a good deal above that by default.

Physically, Ghost Rider and Luke Cage both lift about 30 tons and have ridiculous durability which is abnormal for beings of their threat level.

WTF 30 tons for Luke Cage? Is that recent or was he always on that level?

Only Bendis ever portray Luke Cage as a 100 ton heavy hitter capable of overpowering and defeating She-Hulk and Namor. Other writers dont wank off Luke Cage like that.

So how does the Christian God work in Marvel? I think clarifying that and keeping to it should help people understand Ghost Rider’s place in the universe

Highest God that exists a level above even things above universes. Hideously overpowered, can be understood to mean the creation of comics themselves.

only times i ever liked ghost rider is when he penance stared morbius (stares were a thing in the 90s morbius comic. they were really cool with good art, especially with the basilisk) and ghost rider 2099. i never cared for other ghost rider stuff
