Goggins WAS the show, Raymundo Genesis is just a soulless Seth Bullock
I liked the season where he simps for Ava and sweats off crime for her, until she says "nah, let's do crimes" and he goes back on his convictions immediately.
>why frick with that?
Money, obviously. Limehouse had tons and Boyd always went after it. Unless he judged he wasn't up to the task of taking it, even when he double-crossed Sam Elliot. So either he genuinely respected Limehouse or was afraid of him.
Its called risk. Boyd wanted to make money but he didn't want to draw too much attention. You keep things peaceful and working then you keep profiting and no one is the wiser. Sure some might know, but you're not causing too much trouble. He stayed in his yard, Limehouse stayed in his. Then Raylan shows up and starts throwing things into chaos.
Part of successful organized crime is knowing how far you can push things, and when not to rock the boat. Gang wars just attract more attention that threatens profits
I mean it's not the worst show I've ever seen, but it's nowhere near the quality of the original. it's basically a 5/10 or 6/10 show that would be more in place airing on ABC or NBC.
First episode was bad
Second episode was a little better
Third episode is actually decent
I was getting pissed at all the race bait dialogue too, but having thought it over they're actually doing it pretty well. The show is set in present day, more or less, and it would be weird if everyone wasn't ducking constantly saying race bait shit because it's fricking everywhere. Seeing a bunch of blacks b***h about it and act entitled is pretty accurate. Seeing young white women parroting the shit is pretty accurate. Olyphant is based and just walking around looking bewildered at all the race baiting shit, which also feels accurate. It also helps that the black power racist judge gets his shit pushed in and the black power black kween is a dirty compromised lawyer with no backbone or moral conviction, so these people are being shown as the pieces of shit that they are.
i had low expectation but i never imagined it would be this bad
i am just gonna say it Walton Goggins carried the show alot.

How is it any more woke than it already was? There's seven seasons showing moronic inbred rednecks.
there was 5 scenes of Black folk b***hing about racism and angry white men before the title screen came on in the first episode
Did you stop the old show before season 3? Because since Limehouse comes on it's just the same.
>he's okay for a white guy
DROPPED
>Boyd never crosses or even moves against Limehouse, and always deals with him with respect
Was he afraid of him?
game recognizes game
they were segregated off in their own part of town and hardly intruded otherwise
why frick with that? let limehouse lord over his butcher slum

dear god, it would have been racist
is it really that bad? not worth binging?
its very tiresome
>previews already shows he is gonna frick her.
its good if you can ignore the racebait, theres alot of dialogue that basically boils down to
>whitey bad!

this is the kiss of death for me
hate the blandness of network tv
best seasonal villain/antagonist?
Yeah, none of the other seasonal villains really reached the same level as him
>that scene when raylan is taking a picture to identify him so he smiles for the shot
kino actor stole the show in the Street Fighter movie
Haven't you guys learned by now to never watch a reboot or remake of a show/movie you once loved?
Check your privilege, whitey!
>We picked cotton together.
>That's right.
