You've got a major chip on your shoulder, most cape books don't look like this.
It feels very European(the artist is 2000's), I remember when I was big into european comics there were a few going for a similar "animated" look with a lot of coloring post production. I've forgotten their names because, like a lot of European comics, the plots were sadly forgettable.
It looks sort of 3D and feels very premium I think.
