What do you expect from the third season of The Bad Batch?
Did Tech really die? They didn't show his body, and Star Wars is not allowing anyone to stay dead lately.

I won't believe it until I see a corpse. The 3rd season is the final one isn't it?
Yes. But why is it releasing next year?
Nobody's ever really gone.
I can't think of anyway he could have survived and he doesn't have magic Sith powers either.
Omeeguh will be so damn precocious that she unfreezes Hemlock's heart
I don't WANT Tech to be dead, but pulling a gotcha or backtracking would be even worse. It would destroy any modicum of an illusion of tension and stakes
I lament that they transparently built him up solely to manipulate people into caring when he was axed, but at least in the process he did become my favorite of the cast
I like him a lot but I wish he stays dead.
My bet is that the show will end with the whole bad batch dying and only Omega is left.
>My bet is that the show will end with the whole bad batch dying and only Omega is left.
Doubt. I see maybe one more core member of the team dying, possibly Echo, but Hunter and Wrecker will most likely retire to Pabu with Ughmegah.
>Doubt. I see maybe one more core member of the team dying, possibly Echo, but Hunter and Wrecker will most likely retire to Pabu with Ughmegah.
What I hope
>Echo dies saving shittons of clones
>Rex retires after seeing the last of his men not under vader die when he could've saved him
>Howzer becomes the new leader of the clone rebellion
>Echo base is specifically named after Echo
I thought they had retconned Rex into being in the battle of Endor or something.
Bad Batch is before Rebels. When we meet Rex in Rebels, he's all depressed and retired, he'd given up fighting the Empire, and he lived with Wolffe and Gregor in an abandoned AT-TE walker on some desolate shithole. So that suggests something bad has to happen to lead Rex into Rebels. His clone rebellion must fail, and Echo will probably have to die, since he is Rex's friend.
Is rebels worth watching? TBB was a surprise to me but I still don't put trust on the Disney stuff.
Also, will they eventually do a cartoon during the OT times and with the characters from those movies? That period is weirdly void of shows.
>Is rebels worth watching?
Only if you plan on watching the Ahsoka live-action show.
Otherwise, watching clips on YouTube will be sufficient.
>Also, will they eventually do a cartoon during the OT times and with the characters from those movies? That period is weirdly void of shows.
Doubt. OT is more popular with the older people, and older people don't usually watch cartoons.
How is the end of that 4th clip supposed to have any weight when I know what Luke turns into? I wonder how much of the people at Lucasfilm secretly despise the sequels.
A lot. i would unironically try to poison the drinks of KK people
The short answer is "no". The first two seasons were predominantely meh, with a few good parts. They're unremarkable sludge, and are only carried by cameos and plotlines from the Clone Wars, more specifically Ahsoka, Rex, and the occasional Mando/Clone bullshit. But it doesn't stand on its own as a good show, and none of the OCs written for it have a strong personality. Seasons 3 and 4 are absolute garbage and destroy any momentum the show might have had going for it.
it is if you like clones or just want to CONSOOM star wars. although danny devito's ex is a voice for one of the characters, which is actually cool
I like clones, but the kids from the clips I saw sounded annoying so I'm not sure about it.
They are annoying, and take up 60-70% of the screentime.
OH SHIT YOU SAID REBELS
sorry, i made a mistake. i haven't watched rebels. i thought you said bad batch.
>will they eventually do a cartoon during the OT times and with the characters from those movies?
Luke and the gang don't really work for a clone wars-style show, way too many plot armor restrictions
Rebels is pretty good once it gets going. The first half of season 1 spends most of the time establishing the crew and building up their camaraderie. It's not the most gripping thing on television, but they are fun Star Wars-y adventures.
The animation budget takes a huge hit though. So be prepared for everyone's hair to look plastic.
I liked the earlier episodes of Rebels when it was just some group of pirates being dicks because they didn't like the Empire for reasons.
Was not a fan of it turning into Clone Wars 2 with nonstop guest appearances and the crew were some highly specialized Rebel cell working for the greater rebellion.

It'd be rad as shit if something like this happened https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKCmyiljKo0 . Especially because to the empire all Clones look the same and they couldn't tell which one was Rex/Echo/Howzer
That could work in a temporary moment, but I'm pretty sure their identifying numbers are implemented into their bodies somehow and can be scanned
>but I'm pretty sure their identifying numbers are implemented into their bodies somehow and can be scanned
Evidently not, since Cut was able to board a charter relatively easily. All he needed was a counterfeit chain code.
They do have identifying numbers on their wrists. It has to be purposefully scanned, though. Cut wasn't scanned for that purpose, and he just got extremely lucky that no one recognized him as a clone. Wearing a hat is a good disguise, apparently.
>That could work in a temporary moment, but I'm pretty sure their identifying numbers are implemented into their bodies somehow and can be scanned
Anon that's not the point. The point is they're all willing to die free and won't turn in the leader of the Clone Rebellion.
I GET that, I'm just saying the impact is lessened a bit when ascertaining a clone's identity is so simple
Maybe if they were in a situation where the aggressor is ignorant of this
I've been thinking along those lines, though I'll admit it's equally possible he's just given up due to growing so damn old. They've all done their bid, fought for the Republic, and seen it all turn to shit. Also by that time the status of the clones has long since become irrelevant to the Empire. They certainly aren't soldiers, but are clearly tolerated by the Empire. It's possible that by this point Chuchi's efforts have seen them gain some form of retirement benefits and status as full citizens of the Empire, securing their independence from military rule if not making them any more free than anyone else under Palpatine's rule.
Still for dramatic purposes we'll probably see their mini-rebellion for their brothers going to shit.
I’m half expecting it to be a canon rendition of the clone rebellion mission in battlefront 2, only now because most of kamino had been sunk it should take place somewhere else
Yeah. There’s an extra rebel in Return of the Jedi who looks a little like Rex, and since he’s only ever seen in brief medium distance shots fans head canoned he was Rex and Lucasfilm made it real because why not.

Dave already debunked that years ago. Also, Rex canonically survived Endor. Nik Sant (the guy people insist is Rex) did not as we see him dead on the battlefield. He was the guy who disguised himself as a scout trooper.

Makes you wonder what happened to the other surviving clones. I have some guesses
>Cody
Becomes a hermit/lonely civvy, still does some minor stuff for anti imperial groups but never becomes a full fledged rebel.
Personally I'd like him to be the token moral imperial who becomes more and more distressed at what he has to do. But feels he has no choice but to do it.
>Appo
Still an imperial and unlike my ideal Cody has no issues with it.
>Wolffe
Dies on Hoth. Took out 20 stormtroopers and an At At single handedly
>Echo
Died but did enough stuff to get a base named after him.
>Howzer
More active than Rex though more of a administrator and strategist at this point. Killed helping the alliance steal the death star plans. More famous among non clone Rebels than Rex
>Fireball
Starts a bar and grill in the outer rim. Not an actual rebel but still happy to help.
>Glitch
The force gauntlet slowed his aging to natborn levels and gave him very weak force sensitivty, becomes the archivist to one of the many new Jedi orders
>Appo
Does he still get iced by rogue Jedi on Kashyyyk?
If captain Fordo from 2003 clone wars was canon where would he be?
>If captain Fordo from 2003 clone wars was canon where would he be?
Killing Space Marine Terminators
The problem with Fordo is that while he's cool I don't really know much about his personality besides that he's a badass. I guess he could become a bounty hunter.
I wish something like this had been the Boba Fett backstory
>I wish something like this had been the Boba Fett backstory
The problem is he'd be a senile old frick by the ot. Which reminds me of how lucid and spry the 501st narrator seemed in Battlefront. I'd imagine he'd sound more like this
>"Journal of the 501st."
>"It was an awfully cold day on Geonosis today as we pushed back against the rebels and their leader General Grievous. A being who would stop at nothing to make sure Chancellor Palpatine would displace the Emperor. We knew that disguising those battle droids as humans was perhaps the greatest trick in the seppie handbook besides the death star. Our leader Plo Koon was a hard man, especially after he started wearing black and got a core world accent. Sometimes we forgot he was our general because back in the old days, our generals used to wear an onion on their belts.. which was the style at the time."
>Appo
>Does he still get iced by rogue Jedi on Kashyyyk?
No. We see him get killed by George Lucas' son in RoTS.
>Cody
The upcoming clone rebellion is probably what killed him.
He lived. Even in the old EU where he went on to be killed by Roan Shryne or one of the other jedi in Dark Lord Rise of Darth Vader
>He lived.
We don't know that yet.
>What do you expect from the third season of The Bad Batch?
I guess I expect Crosshair to sacrifice himself. He did some bad shit. He's gotta make up for it.
>Did Tech really die?
Yes, absolutely. There were no hints of him surviving, the narrative was straight about him being dead, as were the actors in the interviews. There was no hint of a fakeout. Plus, they most certainly won't pull off another Echo. Bad Batch already has a member who came back from the dead. They really won't do it twice. And really, there is absolutely no way out for Tech. It's not just height, but also a giant train cart falling on top of him.
And also I expect Scorch to help Omega and Crosshair.
Teaser for S3 in case someone hasn't seen.
Can barely see shit, but there's more Sheev, Scorch, Rex, Wolffe, Omega is working on Tantiss, Crosshair caged.
Hell yeah, thanks. When was this?
SW Celebration
>applause at the end
My god, the memes about America are true.
French at Cannes applaud for at least 5 minutes straight. Sometimes they applaud even for 20 minutes.
>was in the uk
>at a convention
>exclusive trailer
Your bait was fantastic and I feel bad no one bit it.
The mad scientist working on clones found his goggles, so who knows.
More crosshair focus episodes.
The Bad b***h
Omega is like that sometimes
Idk, a satisfying ending I guess. S2 was good enough, but its most long-term impact on my life was that watching the show allowed me to socialize way better with a co-worker
sid's comeuppance
He'll probably just come back with cyborg legs or something and zero explanation for how that happened. It's how Star Wars returns just everyone that dies.
I wouldn't be surprised to see a cyborg Dooku and Phasma at some point in the future.
So you want them to just open with
>Somehow, Tech returned
>I wouldn't be surprised to see a cyborg Dooku
>Not rising from the grave as a Force Vampire
You had one job, anon. One job.
They finished season two with another female clone reveal, it already got quite cheap by that point.
>They finished season two with another female clone reveal, it already got quite cheap by that point.
I have no idea why they'd make female clones but they should.
>Force Vampire
He would suck the living force out of people?
There's precedent for such a thing
Could be funny for a cheesy what-if scenario
>Could be funny for a cheesy what-if scenario
You'd really need to go all in on the gag by having Tarkin lead the hunt for Dooku.
Kino
Tech’s go op, you have to move on
>What do you expect from the third season of The Bad Batch?
*sigh* somehow, Tech returned.
I wish they'd give Gregor his helmet back.
I kinda want Omega to get punched in the face. They are making it harder and harder to like her.
>They are making it harder and harder to like her.
You're the only one who thinks that. Everyone else likes her. Pedophiles don't count.
No one likes her except pedos. She is legitimately the worst part of the show
I think Omega is needed in the show to soften the mood and add some heart and hope, since so much of Star Wars has been depressing in the last few decades, but they got carried away into making her too much of a pollyanna that trusts and wants to help everyone, they shouldn't make everything go her way.
For me, it's Fireball.
asiaticmoot makes you live through your embarrassment. Embrace it.
Never mind it’s all gone now
There could certainly be a lot more Omega in this thread if you ask me.
Why do i have the feeling all but omega are gonna die
