so I just checked her blog and it seems like she's been pretty dead on Tumblr for a minute. Last post on her page was January of this year. Her last art posts were a few years ago (I really haven't been keeping tabs on all her accounts recently). Last stuff she really seemed up on was Bobs Burgers, TMNT, and Hey Arnold. I guess we're coming to the point where the most dedicated Tumblr artists are starting to really move on. Can't blame them either.
Also, side note, I really hate the new format of Tumblr to this weird semi-mobile look. The old archiving system was superior to whatever they're doing now.

Desktop was pretty good up until recently. Things used to even feel more personal up until 2018-2019, like you go to someone who's really dedicated to their page and you can see how good it could be. I probably should've specified that I meant the writing on the wall was the fandom space becoming more toxic and less open to art like hers. Even when she was posting, things on Tumblr were less toxic than it was when things really started getting bad around 2016-2017. 2014 and 2015 were probably the peak of Tumblr fandom spaces, imo. Good art, fairly active, people not completely moronic yet so you'd get interesting shit like her art. The site was alright, especially the old archiving system. Really better than the alternatives outside of just making your own site. There's a contingent of people who are sticking around and it's been more active lately since Twitter is fricking around. But will we ever get something as good as 2014-2016? Probably not.

Desktop was pretty good up until recently. Things used to even feel more personal up until 2018-2019, like you go to someone who's really dedicated to their page and you can see how good it could be. I'm guessing they're changing things up to mirror more closely to TikTok? They've got their own FYP now and everything.

The old version just had your standard feed where you get only the content you follow. Now, it defaults to the For You feed and gives you suggested content based on your likes, your friends likes, tags you like or follow, etc. Twitter is doing a similar thing, as well.

I probably should've specified that I meant the writing on the wall was the fandom space becoming more toxic and less open to art like hers. Even when she was posting, things on Tumblr were less toxic than it was when things really started getting bad around 2016-2017. 2014 and 2015 were probably the peak of Tumblr fandom spaces, imo. Good art, fairly active, people not completely moronic yet so you'd get interesting shit like her art. Even if things stayed the same, the fandom on that site was over the second Tumblr banned porn since that pretty much killed a good amount of activity generally.
2012-2015 were golden times of the internet in general. You could make anything, featuring anything and everyone would at least have a baseline respect for you because you put your work out there.

Not at all, it's just weird and interesting to see how fandom makes decisions that are widely accepted.
