His stuff generates so many mixed emotions in me, but I think I like it overall.
His signature fish faces are both ugly and cute, and his dialogue is both cringe worthy and endearingly corny, that’s for sure. And you just reminded me that I really should try and catch up on Empowered. Because I was no where near finishing what has currently been released.
I really rather disliked Adam Warren's Monika side stories. I think they detracted from her character rather than making her better, with the idea that she was some fated great thief and a scorned ditz over Garrison.
The paneling and action. Even the the bodies are very manga-esque. You even could argue the same face is very manga-esque. But thats why i called it ameri-manga, it is inspired.

You're an idiot. It's at best kind of cheesecake but that doesn't make it MANGA ESQUE
>When the frick is it continuing?
I actually forgot they were and picked up the new issues. Kind of a shame Joe Mad didn't actually draw them. The big liar. Frankly I'm not expecting any new issue out for a while either.
I actually just watched a video about this.
Women who are psychopaths/violent are the only demographic that really like unpleasant, ugly women. Everyone else responds with less empathy, but still tepeats 'the message' because of social conditioning.
Before you ask, pleasant, but not-conventionally-attractive can get a pass, and women can get away with being b***hes only if they're hot enough to get away with it.
Ignoring the absolute invalidity of youtube analysis, I assume you mean deliberately grotesque or aggressive portrayals of women, and not merely female characters drawn in a unique way or with striking features. We know which one Warren does.
The video had sources. You're welcome to analyze it yourself instead or reposting Twitter crap.

For your question though, if you change "grotesqueness" to "unattractiveness," then those definitions were both what categorized the characters. My point in bringing it up was that the only people who genuinely believe that are actually touched in the head, the rest just repeating it for brownie points.
In other words, why Twitter hates women? Because they moronic?

You're talking about something entirely different, where female characters are written in a boorish way that only resonates with boorish women (or a very small pocket of infirm men.) This has nothing to do with how Warren designs his characters whatsoever. Even if we extrapolated as hard as possible to imply it does, Warren still wouldn't qualify because he draws women he finds cute with idealized bodies. Lastly and most importantly, designing women with unusual (or simply not idyllic) features is not congruent with the phenomenon described in your video, where the boorish women described are more concerned with realism than any appreciation for art or aesthetics. To give you an example: Incase draws women with, for lack of better description, horse faces and big noses. A self-aggrandizing insufferable b***h would also draw herself with these features, possibly because she has them in real life, possibly just for the sake of being difference. Do these two examples stem from the same motivations, desires, thought process of philosophies on producing a creative work? Obviously not. To imply otherwise is simply trivializing things for your erroneous presumptions.

The topic is about women that claim to hate attractive women being full of shit. Stop being dense
He has a Patreon where he posts some life drawings, past art and talks about his old and current projects. Lots of stuff to read if you care about such things. You can find it on Kemono too
Same as any top level western artist. Clearly talented, but has a pathological urge to make his characters deliberately ugly because westerners find beauty to be repulsive on a visceral level
Nta, but I love visible lips in art. But some people depict them in a way that is really freaky and incongruent with the rest of the face. Adam Warren is like Western Boichi (South Korean manga artist) in that sense,
I think it’s the detailed, relatively realistic lips paired with the cartoony, wide set,
anime style bug eyes, non existent anime nose, and the incredibly neotenous facial proportions. Perhaps added more realism and detail in subtle ways, or giving female characters longer mid faces and less forehead would help?
Also, characters’ lips diminish to a strangely pronounced extent when making half of their facial expressions.
I met him at a con in 2016 and bought one of his drawings he used as a cover for an empowered issue. Was a pretty chill dude. He definitely seemed to not like the con environment but was generally excited to talk to people.
Early Emp being considered fat is funny because she’s only fat by early 2000’s white American standards, so the beginning of the comic aged weirdly. There’s always a cognitive dissonance when consuming a story where an obviously conventionally attractive character is either self loathing or is supposed to be perceived as dumpy by other characters. The first Incredibles movie has the same vibe.
Which is why Adam Warren decided to make her a bit chubbier in the later volumes. He wanted to still keep her attractive but also give her just enough fat so that her insecurities did not seemingly come from nowhere.
Something about his art makes my penis really really hard

He's very good, but I hate his style.
I like it, could be better, but he's way more talented than most frickers working nowdays IMO.
He's cool
It's hard to tell where Warren ends and Ryan Kinnard begins in that piece.
I think he draws delicious DLS and anyone that does needs to be protected.
Did he ever draw Ahsoka?
His DSL skills would fare well there...
He always was a bit too "faux manga" for me, but stil makes my pee pee hard, especiall Empowered and her ninja sidekick
He is very fun. His style is like an elevated How to Draw Manga book, and I mean that in the best possible way.
And then the Patriots surgically removed Raiden’s meaty thighs…
really need to keep reading empowered, i really liked what it had and really love his american made manga art style
so fricking true and also WHAT THE FRICK HE MADE THAT?
Best ameri-manga since Scott Campbell
I really rather disliked Adam Warren's Monika side stories. I think they detracted from her character rather than making her better, with the idea that she was some fated great thief and a scorned ditz over Garrison.
It was a different time. And for me it was just a sidestory.
Nothing about Campbells style says ameri-manga, his style is based on Jim Lee and Art Adams.

When the frick is it continuing? I was actually motivated as frick when I saw they released issues 10-12
>When the frick is it continuing?

It is too bad he is so terrible at drawing faces because everything else he does is great.
The faces are ok. They are stylised. But i can understand you when you dont like that.
But do you like his older style better or is it the manga-esque style?
Why Twitter hate women again?
Blame the AI!

Why wouldn't you hate women?
They belong in chains
I've actually seen quite a few comic artists that are great at drawing nearly everything but faces
I sympathize with them, I also hate drawing faces
I think he's a douchebag with a fish fetish.
Maybe he likes blowjobs?
Sticking your dick in a trout is bestiality, and that's illegal.
Not when the fishlips belong to a human. Or human-like alien.
Jesus Christ, that's just straight-up repulsive. Really should have focused a lot more on the "daddy's lil" and a lot less on the "monster."
DaAAy's Lil Monster
Love his work, I'm glad he's not afraid of lips unlike many artists.
He's pretty fun. I love big bimbo lips so it's hard for me not to like this guy.
He has a Patreon where he posts some life drawings, past art and talks about his old and current projects. Lots of stuff to read if you care about such things.
You can find it on Kemono too
Overrated tranime coomer
The way he draws girls is pure sex. A top ten contender on the female anatomy, possibly top 5.
I can't stand him.
Is their an archive of all his artwork? I swear I love his style so much
I wish he could get Dirty Pair collected
I wish he would publish an artbook I want to see his raunchier stuff
Same as any top level western artist. Clearly talented, but has a pathological urge to make his characters deliberately ugly because westerners find beauty to be repulsive on a visceral level
You really hate lips don’t you

The frick are you talking about?
I lost interest in his work when I realized he'd never go beyond PG-13 (sometimes with nipple)
>sometimes with nipple
Wait what where
Dude... he's done hardcore incest porn
It's just not published
Then it might as well not exist.
If you're such a casual that you can't find anything if it's not on a Walmart shelf, then too bad for you
Coom-Brain much?
Coom is in the blood. Sex is all I think about, every second of every day. I'm fine with it.
Honorary 日本人
He's an embarrassing weeb who doesn't know how to draw a face.
The itagaki of the west
Literally the only American who could draw in a Japanese style professionally at one point
Ben Dunn and Warren were the only decent AmeriManga artists that could actually draw. The rest just used "manga" style as an excuse for being lazy
nah not ben dunn

He should really just stop doing softcore and go full hard now.
