>They made this movie with attractive females in 1949
If that were true then I would have seen it, because someone would have posted an image of it, and I've never seen it. I've been on Cinemaphile longer than anyone here, so I would remember if it were posted.
You have to remember that attractiveness is subjective, so I may not agree with your assessment of a woman's appearance.
I don't think so, because nobody ever posts them. I know the last one had Dunst but I don't know who plays the other sisters. I think Winona was Jo, who is much worse than Saoirse, so I don't think the movies are equal at all.
I don't watch movies more than once. Although when I was a kid I used to watch Roger Rabbit 1988, Batman 1989 and Ninja Turtles 1990 almost every day. I haven't even watched these in like 20 years but still remember every scene.
> Roger Rabbit 1988, Batman 1989 and Ninja Turtles 1990 almost every da
Those were all VHS tapes McDonald’s had as a promo sale, they were very very common for the only three movies people owned, including my own home. My parents weren’t even poor, they were just incapable of getting anything done or shopping outside of the easiest most greased commerence lanes, such as McDonald’s p, which is way they were stuck in the middle class
>Roger rabbit
Lol same I literally had it on repeat for my whole childhood. As an adult I can't rewatch anything coz I get this weird deja Vu feeling where I know what's gonna happen next. Only tv show I have watched multiple times was Hannibal with mads #nohomo
that's literal programming. I dont do that, the closest thing I did to that was watch peacemaker twice because I watched it with someone else who did not see it yet. I dont think Ill repeat watch anything (it's rare) without a few years or more between each view
You mean like what happens on Cinemaphile? I see the same threads every day. I never participate, of course, but they always get replies from the npcs here, so they're being programmed. I don't think they care, but that's what's happening. I guess you haven't been here long enough to understand.
>literal programming
This explains everything, I watched Three Stooges nonstop as a child and now I poke everybody's eyes out when my handler says my passphrase.
Thanks for posting one with subs. Something I notice is that all these characters are white. Probably because it was made by the Japanese, and they don't have to kneel to the israelites.
It's really interesting how different Western and Eastern media is, because only the former feels like blatant propaganda. What you posted is like something made for Resident Evil fans to enjoy. I guess that's why western TV and Film is in decline.
Death Island, like many other RE films has that one theme in common: through the power of friendship! which is really cool to see. There's something honest and pure about it and all the characters involved, it's like a one big happy family. Even though the main characters in the team go through ups and downs, everyone is pretty much perfect. What is also striking is that everyone is innocent and has an undying -almost inhuman- spirit. I really don't know what to make of it because it's so unique to our western preconceptions, other than admire it. I can put the RE universe like this: A horror film with angels as the main characters.
Just for you:

Oh, you're going to sleep? Well, I just wanted to say that it's cool that they reference the games in these movies. Jill talks about being controlled by Wesker, which happens in Resident Evil 5. It's like, this shit was made just for fans. You watch western stuff and it's like made by people who hate the audience. It's crazy how different it is.
first of all its a pain in the ass to do so, second are we still in the fricking silent era how can you argue that audio isn't an integral part of a movie experience?

>how can you argue that audio isn't an integral part of a movie experience?
I'm not saying audio isn't integral, but I've been on Cinemaphile long enough to know why there's no audio: It's to prevent people adding screamers. I see them even now in 2023 - there was a Christina Hendricks one that switches to an e-celeb's butthole. True story.
I've watched Star Wars hundreds of times over the course of my life. I can quote entire scenes from memory, especially Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope.
I also watched Spider-Man 1 and 2 so many times growing up I know some scenes by heart.
For me its >secondary antagonist man getting slapped to death by Godzilla after watching him throat goat Orga to death >“I CAN’T CARRY THE RING FOR YOU MR. FRODO…BUT I CAN CARRY YOU!” >Hank flailing his arms everywhere and BWAHHHing as he gets chased by bulls >”YOU CANT HANDLE MY POTIONS”
When I was a kid I didn't have cable in my room but I had a little 13 inch tv/vhs combo. I'd fall asleep to the same movie for months on end and then I'd switch to another movie.
Main ones that stand out
>Ace Ventura Pet Detective >Wayne's World >Dunstin Checks In >The Waterboy >Tommy Boy
Could probably still recite entire scenes from these films verbatim.
Right when Covid started, I was living in small college apartment. A studio prob 500 square feet tops. Everyone left the small college town, so I went probably 3 months without talking to another person face to face. Ended up putting movies on repeat just to fill the dead noise. For some reason ended up with The Shining because I thought it was a funny parallel. Had it on repeat for 5 days straight, and I would just occasionally focus on it for 10 minutes, then drop it. It was like 5 days of slowly going insane, just like in the movie. Started freaking myself out, questioning if I had died and was stuck in purgatory. Reality started to seem malleable as my connection to the world was severed. But it's cool though, better safe than sorry about a fricking cold. Weird times.
I have watched the nova episode about building cathedrals like 50 times now because my 7 month old son likes the choir music and stained glass
not even mad, it's a good episode
I've probably watched Silver Linings Playbook over 13 times, my most watched movie by far, and it probably isn't in my top 10. Really easy, fun movie that satisfies my wish fulfillment.
My most watched are pretty normie tier.
Watching alone late at night in bed is a vibe. >Alien >Casablanca >In Bruges >Big Trouble in Little China >Andrei Rublev >Barry Lyndon >Blade Runner
I've probably seen every episode of seinfeld at least 12 times. Every time I expect the characters to learn from their past mistakes but they don't and the episode has the same ending every time.
I've watched the first Fast and the Furious movie so many times that I can't even remember. As a yute, it was one of my favorites, and today it just gives me a lot of nostalgia for that entire time period of early 2000s culture.
Absolutely based. I wish I could go back and watch it again for the first time, Spartacus too. The only show I ever managed to rewatch was Hannibal and that's only coz I watched it with different people each time who hadn't seen it and it's my numba wan show of all time

Honestly the pajeets have gotten this aesthetic down to a formula, some of their films are basically a continuation of the Capra/Ford aesthetic. I just wish the language and the people weren't so ugly.
Lost boys
Do you still believe?

I see women posted on Cinemaphile all day and I don't like any of them, so if someone tells me a movie has attractive women, I'll have to doubt it.
They've made this movie like 5 times and the women are pretty good lookin in all of them

Ye doesn't care about dialog or deeper meaning. Pretty color visuals are the only thing that matters to him.
and that's how it should always be, film is a visual medium above all else
all that matters is cinematography, Ye is a true patrician
he's a patrician by watching the shitty digital zoomer version?
so why isn't he watching Scotts? is he just a pleb?
I think he just likes the dystopian cyberpunk aesthetic. Akira is his favorite anime movie IIRC

I don't think audio is necessary, because you can add subtitles when making a webm. He even uploaded an edit with subs, so he knows he can.
