i use it a lot and i like it for the ability to sort my watchlist based on service
I stopped paying attention to reviews by anyone except the few people i follow a long time ago. Made the site much better. Will only check other reviews for obscure kino I like to find others that liked it as well.
I'll scan the reviews after I'm done, usually good for some laughs. I also use it primarily as an organizational tool, its great for that, and it's a convenient way to track my viewing history over time.
Great interface, absolutely awful and cancerous bottom-of-the-barrel community. I use it strictly as a diary to track stuff I've watched and look for new movies.
Great interface and way to track movies you watch, but it has some of the most unhinged reviews you'll read online. Makes IMDB reviews look intellectual in comparison.
I use it to log my screenings. The watchlist feature is also helpful as a reminder for when I'm in the mood to watch something but don't have anything specific in mind. I also use the list function to keep track of parts of my collection like my movies on VHS. Other than that, I don't care for it. The social networking aspects come off as half-assed, and they're trying so hard to pass it off as an upscale version of Rotten Tomatoes.
it's fine and if you think it sucks it's cause you suck at using it
find obscure niche films you like, Cinemaphile core stuff, deep horror whatever, follow reviews that don't suck. bam now you see them instead of "popular" queer tweet reviews you can block anyways
similarly the list function is a treasure trove if you know how to mine it
I don't care about posting myself
The only thing I really dislike about the site is how transparently obvious it is that there's a shit ton of women users that just watch the newest popular thing
It's a good site as far as functionality works though
private accounts are going to be a thing in the future. im worried a lot of the based users will go private and then its just gonna be a whole lot of cringe on there.

They are fixing to filter the awful reviews with new updates which is good.
how so?
Honestly I wish you could just toggle reviews off entirely.
This and sorting reviews by length and private accounts.
userbase is worse than cancer

Reinforces my hatred of women
Women and "women"

the stats are kind of shit
what famous people do you follow? besides Scorcese.
I follow nobody and if someone follows me, I soft block them. Letterboxd is for logging not making friends.
>famous
only tiktok chads like george

Imdb lists are way better than troonyboxd lists THOUGH and are made by keyed boomers instead of zoomers who looked up top 10 asian films
ya you're using it wrong or are too pedestrian to find useful
>keyed

I don't like how moronic their sorting system is but other than that, I think it's fine.
Reminder that Taylor Swift's short film was at one point the highest rated film on that site
a community full of lgbt / women with armpit hair
not my kind of people
mental illness the website
I like to find movies by year so it's good for that.

I don't think about it. I use IMDB since their userbase aren't a bunch of unfunny midwits.
