Only cared about the first Gen tbh. I was a few years younger than them when this first aired in the UK and wondered if my life would be like that when I got older. It wasn't.
It kind of went to shit after the first gen. I lived in Bristol as a teen exactly when it came out and it nailed some parts perfectly, but most of it is highly exaggerated. But I'm one of those c**ts who life peaked in sixth form.
The second generation of Skins is by far my favourite generation. I had a friend group in high school that was extremely well reflected in the characters and knew a guy who had figured out how to have sex with girls at a very young age (14ish). He pulled some of the same kinds of shit you see Cook do and got involved with criminals before turning his life around a bit in his 30s.
it has a few good moments, but isn't anything special all in all. the cinematography feels like a music video half of the time, if you like that. you can give it a try just for it's unique look and atmosphere.
skins is definitly better tho
It's pretty good, but it's wildly different than Skins while dealing with some of the same issues. Euphoria deals more with trauma than Skins does, and treats drugs a little more seriously
I like Skins more, but that's because I grew up with it.
gay zoomer shit is gay and stupid. Skins is awesome because it's written and filmed like a dream someone is having. I don't give a frick about your gay ass trauma (the replacement for actually being interesting).
>Skins is awesome because it's written and filmed like a dream someone is having
Wanna know how I know you didn't have fun teenage years?
Skins looks like a british show from the era because it's a british show from the era. >I don't give a frick about your gay ass trauma
Skins still deals with trauma, moron, and it's rooted in it through the issues they explore, which were the issues teenagers went through in that era, even if exaggerated. It's just not as bleak as Euphoria
Euphoria deals with issues teenagers go through in this era, and it's also very exaggerated, but it's tone is wildly different from Skins. You only dislike it because NEW STUFF BAD, but you probably weren't even a teen when Skins was airing lmao
Really made my teenage years. I came of age as this and the Inbetweeners was on telly. Now I'm old, balding and have a kid. Sometimes I think about how carefree those times were and how I didn't even realise they would end one day.
>look like
There's your problem. Caring what you look like. Your life is grand, right after you get pressed about saying you miss your carefree days. Pure denial.
watched first ep out of boredom last year and ended up watching the whole of s1+2
thought it would be insanely cringe but i enjoyed it a lot and was very nostalgic
remember s3 trying too hard so i stopped there
also i couldn't help but feel like nowadays they'd cast less attractive people in general, like we're not allowed that shit anymore
I like that Effy broad.
Otherwise it got boring and dumb.
I prefer shirts

It's Euphoria but good.
Is Euphoria any good at all? I'm a Brit if that changes anything
>Is Euphoria any good at all?
No

hahaha struck a chord there with the comment about not having fun teenage years eh?

You chose to get married and have a kid. Could have continued the debauchery.
Nah you just look like a sad c**t after a while. My life is grand, its just nostalgia more than anything else.
Yeah right

There's your problem. Caring what you look like. Your life is grand, right after you get pressed about saying you miss your carefree days. Pure denial.
Both are good, I haven't seen anything of that quality in a long time from the UK, closest was Sex Education
Nonce
Evil shit
have a nice day
have a nice day
First one captured the weird dissociative mental states you can go through at that age really well. Subsequent seasons were shitty exploitation.
which character do you like the most?
for me it's (in no particular order):
cassie
cook
effie
Sid is the only decent lad tbh
freddie is even more decent imo.
also, sid's kind of moronic occasionally
Cook
Alo
Thomas
wait who's alo?
the guy in this webm
NONCE!
I liked Pandora. I have a webm but wont post it as sometimes the mods dont like it.
i really liked it up until the seasons with that weird short haired chick. probably the best thing i watched when i was a teenager.
post it
Gen 1 Effy
Cook
Hated:
Jal
Freddy
Sid

>DUDE TEENAGERS HAVING SEX LMAO
Are they fricking mocking me or something? Frick them
The american version was better
Never understood the appeal of this mental case. My waifu was Naomi from series 2 even though she was gay.
what american version?
was meant for
>talking about skins
>says that the american version was better
Gee we're obviously talking avout 30 Rock.
moron.
didn't know just how good we had it
when was the last good uk show, one where people can actually name characters from it years later like skins
Don't care, post that one chick. You know which one.
Franky?
Holly Earl is sex
it makes me think im an old bastard.
degenerate demoralisation propaganda
No pussy? NO PUSSY? HAHA
I liked Pandora.
Panda is an absolute beaut.
Yup
SLURP!!
