This is how you know Slott is a hack. And let me go on the record and say the Spider Boy thing is stupid, but whatever, you can still spin something interesting out of it.
Slott should have made this kid a pre-OMD character and he was stabbed and erased by Shathra. Why? Look at his age. He could have easily been written to be one of Peter's students during his school run. Why do this? Because this kid was erased before OMD, him coming back to reality meant he remembers the pre-OMD era, including the Mephisto deal.
But noooo, because Slott felt need to include is OC with another OC, this page singlehandedly removes the possibility of a pre-OMD existence and any remote interest in a kid-hero.
