What does?

What does Cinemaphile think of Max? I liked Bright but I think that's the only movie of his I've seen.

He's a megahomosexual, and I'm glad he's been reduced to doing community college theater after being outed as a sexpest. He will drink himself to death soon I hope.

Liberals really despise this guy, huh?

I guess that's why Cinemaphile loves him.

Max Landis. I haven't really seen much of his shit but the youtube video "wrestling isn't wrestling" is actually really good if you have a spare 15 minutes

He's the son of John Landis, that director that got that guy and two asian children beheaded by a helicopter on the Twilight Zone film. He himself wrote Chronicle, Victor Frankenstein, Bright, and Shadow in the Cloud. Not exactly talented.

            [...]
I think he did it just before then, by several months.

I cannot believe I said "who" and got two normal replies that didn't insult me on Cinemaphile

              No problem, homosexual.

              >I think he did it just before then, by several months.
              what a homosexual

              >He himself wrote Chronicle, Victor Frankenstein, Bright, and Shadow in the Cloud.
I liked bright. Made the politicals seethe because it was the wrong sort of racism for the time. Any of his other stuff watchable?

Bright was okay, but he was on twitter sperge about how it was "his Star Wars" and stuff. I've heard American Ultra is okay, but I haven't seen it.

                >"his Star Wars"
Why is he like this? He seems genuinely talented in some respects. Maybe his brain is just turned to sludge because he was raised in hollywood

He's the pretentious and delusional "artist" kind of person. Some modicum of talent exists but it's over-saturated with delusion.

What's even wrong with this? It just feels like him acknowledging that if the movie did well enough for a sequel he can easily see ways to make it into a longer franchise with a large scope unlike a more one-off script he shits out all the time. The best thing Bright had going for it was the world building and ideas behind it.

                >What's even wrong with this?
Star Wars was a multibillion dollar special that had a supermassive impact of global culture. He was writing a netflix movie that was widely considered 'meh' by all.

He overestimates his own talent and no one takes him seriously because of it.
Chronicle is really good and the CGI holds up 11 years later but i'm glad the script for the sequel was never approved by FOX. It fricking sucked.

Its hard to tell if writers are talented since scripts get changed throughout production. What screen writers do best is being fast, which max is. He writes fast and snappy and hand in his work on time. I dont think he believes he's some genius writer, hes very practical when it comes to hollywood. He writes what the studios want and sells his ideas.

he was on movie fights pitching a fast in the furious movie and it involved space and kid rocks bawitabaw. That was funny, wrestling isn't wrestling is based. I enjoyed american ultra. All that said he is a massive homosexual and I don't fault anyone for disliking him or finding him unfunny
