Nah, legit one of the comfiest genres of film is hood cinema. But there’sa difference between a movie like money talks where Chris Tucker is making fun of black stereotypes left and right in an honest and convincing way, and a movie like creed or any of the race swapped marvel shit.

One is authentic and the other is pretending. So it’s not because she’s brown. It’s cuz she’s a girl with the most powerful power in the entire mcu. It’sa slap in the face. It’s bad writing

It's a Disney narrative. They can make up whatever viewership numbers they want and they are aiming to make this show the struggling underdog that succeeds anyway.
But there could be plenty of reasons people aren't watching. There's obviously the /misc/tard reasons you'll mostly hear on this board. But for normies, well, mostly the problem is that the show is really fricking boring, and they've gone for teen family drama rather than superhero show. Almost no action happens, so if you don't care about Kamala struggling to be herself and also not disappoint her parents then the show isn't gonna hook you.

Occupation is when sovereignty is not established. The show called it British-occupied India which is making a political statement. Basically saying the sovereignty established by the British Empire was illegal. It's in no1curr territory but it's intentionally being provocative to the people who give a shit

I think it's half political and half thinking their audience is too moronic for them to call it the British Raj.

Women wear superhero outfits as a costume. At the end of the day it's just woman power fantasy draped in what's currently trending which is something no man wants any part of. All these b***hes do is sit around eating and talking about nothing while worrying about mate selection. You don't need to ape something men like just to deliver that homosexual premise. Women aren't motivated to save or rescue anyone other than children which is why the "mama bear" gets pushed so hard in media. It's the only time where a woman is able/willing to put their lives on the live to defend something more helpless. Men have the power fantasy that involves saving other men, women AND children so being a superhero is a noble aspiration.

Women don't see it as that. They will never see it as that. She-Hulk cries about dating in her 30s and insists that she isn't a superhero because she doesn't know what the frick that title means--but she just wants the title and the power and the *costume*. And then once she gets it she cries about only wanting to be "a normal ordinary lawyer" despite the contradiction. Women don't know how to be heroes in a way that appeals to men which is why men wrote their fricking comics for so long. Their plots didn't interest women because men aren't interested in reading or interacting with the female power fantasy.

That's why this bullshit continues to fall. Also what's hilarious is that ever since Hawkeye there have been shill threads on here posting the actress in dresses and revealing clothes that shows off her body and how attractive she is like "look this chick is SO HOT!" and then in the show she's practically dressed in burka's and clothing that hides everything below the chin. They're trying to do the same with this chick but the actress doesn't do enough social media to really bank on it. They're trying to do it again with the ugly little beaner that plays America Chavez. "Don't these pictures of her in these frowsy shapeless jeans excite you?"

Every single person who thinks women like super heroes is moronic. That's the reason all the recent marvel comics (written by/for women) are just them sitting around eating food all the time or having soap opera type drama. Women do not give a frick. Only people who "care" about female super heroes are basedboys whose most commonly used phrase to describe them is "badass" because that's the only word they can think of because there's nothing actually appealing about any of them but they know they're supposed to like them so they pretend to.

Non chud responses (I've seen every episode so far):
    - The writing is not good. It's not bad, it's just even emptier and more meaningless drivel than all the other Marvel shows. It's not as boring as Falon and the Winter Soldier, but it needed to strongly rely on a charismatic main character (like Loki) or have a team of characters with good dynamics (like in Hawkeye or WandaVision). Unfortunately they cast the least charismatic group of teens I've ever seen with no chemistry. I barely believe these people can be friends, they look like they assembled for a diversity pamphlet and just hung around after the photo was taken.
    - Terrible CGI, action scenes and choreography.
    - Relating every problem the family and community faces back to colonialism and the Patriot Act doesn't gel with this being a character-focussed and lighthearted series. It's absolutely jarring for this show about a teen girl in cosplay thirsting after boys and getting a magic bangle to then have scenes where people sit and talk about the fricking Partition and the feds spying on mosques.
    - If the MC were Hindu and the series took more Bollywood sensibilities, they might have attracted a bigger audience because Bollywood is fun and interesting for Westoids.
    - The series also tries to paint the Muslim community and Islam in a beautiful light, but instead inadvertently just reminds you how close minded it is, such as the girls having to sit at the back of the mosque and the elder men ignoring them entirely. Additionally it's not very genuine when her brother is clearly a fundamentalist but doesn't beat Kamala for talking to boys or going out without a hijab. Guys like him usually double down on their conservatism in the Western world.
    - Also the main girl just isn't thin, atheltic or attractive. I hate that this is a point, but it does matter when you're trying to draw in viewers who aren't Twitter lesbians or balding bespectacled soi men.

    >No one knows Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan
    >Comes from the worst age of comics that tanked sales in comics
    >Audiences associate with Brie's captain c**t that no one liked but went to see because they said it essential to endgame but it wasn't
    >Strong independent woke Muslim woman, like who's the audience for this? Cause muslims aren't going to watch this for sure.
    >Woke by itself is poison to audiences
    >Marvel has been complete garbage and has no plan.

It's not hard to figure out what happened

If you want to create a show with a target audience of teenage girls you need to market it on tik tok. I'd set up a Ms Marvel tik tok account and just have her doing the same stupid shit everyone does on tik tok but with super powers.

It's the NWH effect, that movie was another Endgame, literally 2 Endgames in a row, it gave people everything they ever wanted to see so now they have zero reason to care about the rest of the MCU

Mayne white people aren't watching something they can't relate to. It wasn't made for them. You should be happy they are not appropriating your culture.
