What happened to all the bug writers at DC? How come, regardless of quality, they lack names like Johns and Snyder and Morrison?

>Snyder
You new 52 homosexuals are the worst
Snyder’s rise was one of the worst things to happen to DC. Metal Nights was absolutely dogshit.
He peaked with Black Mirror and American Vampire. Sad.
Johns published a DC comic fricking last week. Why do you ask about writers you don't even read?
>Morrison
British Invasion era hack, was never actually good you were just 12 and heard how mature he was at the time or got your opinion from someone who was 12 at the time and heard how mature he was. His GL run is actually, defacto, the worst comic run of all fricking time.
>Snyder
Dull and fricking terrible at pacing but technically competent. His Metal shit was an okay idea bloated into one of the usual "DC found something that made a tiny profit and decides to run it into the fricking ground" cancer events. Not sure how much of that is his fault.
>Johns
Low Key one of the old boys homosexuals who have plagued the industry for years it's just that his flavor of tempertantrum and industry maiming autism is usually behind the scenes. Does an alright Green Lantern if he's allowed to destroy or sideline every lantern he doesn't like first.
>technically competent
Making balloons filled with speeches so big they're bigger than the character's head is not competent, Snyder.
>His Metal shit was an okay idea
LOL
>Not sure how much of that is his fault.
How about everything?
>Does an alright Green Lantern if he's allowed to destroy or sideline every lantern he doesn't like first.
Kyle had a decade to himself, and then became the main lead of the GLC. John and Tomasi were extremely generous.
>Morrison
>British Invasion era hack, was never actually good you were just 12 and heard how mature he was at the time or got your opinion from someone who was 12 at the time and heard how mature he was.
Nah, he was good to great until about 2015.
You didn't like Animal Man?
One good run by itself is not enough to make a writer good short of a ridiculously impressive one. Animal Man is solid but like, it's not like,Claremont's X-Men, more a JMS Spider-Man.
>it's not like,Claremont's X-Men
Yeah, it's not dogshit like that.
>Claremont's X-Men
Yeah, it actually has a script.
Joshua Williamson is a big writer.
Williams is Johns 2.0, but even worse.
Williamson is dogshit.
MacKay and Ewing are dogshit.
What writers do you like?
Good ones.
So you can't name any again, dogshitanon?
Not with that attitude.
What writers do you like?
Name them pussy
Keep crying detective comics comics gay.
Meanwhile Marvel found a future goat in Jed McKay and has one of the current goats in Ewing. DC is finished.
>bug writers
Genuinely thought anon was lamenting the lack of insects in DC stories
Ambush Bug is underrated
Rick Remender did a big rant where he said that the only people left in the industry are sycophants who will gladly be paid minimum wage as long as they get to write their favorite characters.
Sounds accurate. Rick Remender himself is dogshit though.
What writers do you like?
Yes and now Remender is stuck publishing flops like The Scumbag that ended up doing so poorly that he lost money making it
He's publishing The Holy Roller with two celebrities and the book is excellent. He consistently has a grander vocabulary than Marvel's output.
>He's publishing adaptation bait with the two people who came up with the idea
Fixed that for you, no need to thank me. And speaking of which:
>Announced as an ongoing, recently resolicited to end at Issue #9
Another flop.
Doesn't change that the execution is great.
It never is with Remender.
What writers do you like?
>bug writers
silly anon
bugs can't write stories
