Endgame came out without them ever deciding to diversify into getting normies into the comics/making cartoons.

You could have stopped at "Endgame came out." To the average Marvel Normie, THAT was the end of the MCU. Everything afterwards was a neat little detour. I promise you, if that next Avengers movie ever actually comes out, you will genuinely have people saying its not a real Avengers movie because Capt. America, Thor, and Iron Man aren't in it.

This. I give a lot of shit to Marvel and they deserve it, but honestly there is nothing they could have done to get a different outcome. Endgame was the end. MCU is over, it ended. There is no reason to make any more Marvel movies now, not until a new generation of people who have never seen any kind of a Marvel movie is born and grows to be at least 15.

          Not even 15.
Back when Endgame came out, people were saying it was wholly likely that some kid saw the first Iron Man movie when he was 8, watched every movie and TV show, and then watched Endgame in theatres with all his childhood friends opening weekend as the last thing they did together before he went to college the following fall. There are people in their mid-20s where the MCU was literally their childhood.

Are you people ever going to stop pushing this headcanon narrative that completely ignores all the hype, enthusiasm and goodwill people had towards the MCU continuing. You're letting them off the hook for how badly they dropped the ball over the last 2 years with movies and shows people hated by pretending that audiences had just moved on already and nothing they did really stood a chance anyway.

Anyway, these figures end up being discounted because stores bought them in bulk expecting the movies would be so popular that they'd sell them easily, but the new Phase 4 characters weren't popular and their designs were anti-toyetic. There's also a few comic figures of characters nobody wants, like Speedball, Sleepwalker and Cyclops.

Why doesn't my local Ollie's have this much of variety? I usually only end up buying cereal and macaroni.

They got bought by Disney made some movies cashed out big with endgame and now all that’s left to do is make more marble movies but since they’re not working towards anything, nobody cares anymore, especially since almost almost no marvel hero can stand on their own, and always need to be tied into something bigger

DC won. The Snyder Cut made more money and had more cultural impact than all these later MCU movies combined.

No one's buying DC toys either. Especially not kids & collectors aren't buying any of the Snyderverse shit.

    >you can either get Spider-Man, Wolverine, Hulk, Iron Man or Captain America
    >OR you can choose between the chick from the walking dead, Salma Hayek, some black dude, some chick in Iron Man armor, or some green dude from the comics you haven't seen yet in movies
    Gee, anon.
    I wonder why.

In my europoor hellhole they ran a mixture of Star Wars and Marvel figures. Darth Vader and Boba Fett sold out at a reasonable pace. Nobody touched Baby Yoda, or Thor or the other marvels I forget the names of.

OLLIE'S!! Their toy aisle is a testament to the fall of Hasbro. $30 for a Starting Lineup, suck my dick. $8 is what they're worth to me.

TRU is still selling these for like $18-25 up in Canada (regular Legends are now up to $45). Hence why I didn't cry for the death of Big Giraffe in the States

This has nothing to do with marvel and everything to do with Target ordering too much shit then shoveling it off on Ollie's when it didn't sell

It's Disney forcing hasbro to put out figures for every movie and Target/Walmart not merchandising them for shit. For real they get new figures and clearance them after a week or dump them after a month. 90% of the time Legend, Multiverse, He-man, and Classified pegs sit empty at my stores. Then I find them 3 months later at Ollie's or Ross.

Yeah, it's practically impossible to find Marvel Legends in regular retail stores.
And if they do have any, they're probably still on the Wakanda Forever wave.
