It's kinda fricked in the sense that Simon and ice king are two people who inhibit the same body where one has to die for the other one to live
It just gets more fricked the more you think about it.
Ice King was a generally cheerful albeit demented dude with wizard friends and hobbies and adopted family and a pet.
Simon is an isolated depressed normie man with no strong friendships who lives in a zoo of his own choosing. He has an abusive pet-master relationship with a goose.
Sure Ice King has no gf. But Simon will never see Betty ever again, not even in death, not even in reincarnation. It’s ironic, because IK was too insane to have gf but wanted one, and Simon is sane enough to have gf but has a one track mind on his unattainable wife.
That'd be pretty hot. A young looking, sexy woman choosing to sexually submit herself to an older, ugly man. Imagine if Finn went to rescue her only to find her draped over his wrinkly body begging for more ice wiener. And when he tries to save her thinking she'd been mind controlled she talks down to him like a little child and tells him to go away or stay in the corner and be quiet.
