Like I'm thinking no one in positions of influence are actually advocating for "the protagonist winning" and that's why the protoganists use such crazy / unusual techniques to win.

The CIA used tax dollars to conduct research on the impact of mass communications on public opinion long, long ago. Since that time, the federal government has maintained pressure on all mass communications systems to limit their impact on federally approved narratives. The Hollywood film industry is among them, and has been for almost a century now.

Most western governments are now monopolized by politicians and parties that are working directly with and for a global corporate complex headed by financers with zero loyalty to any individual nation. Hollywood is being rewarded financially, and politically, by cooperating with and propagating the globalist narrative, as are the politicians, and their political parties.
We should probably just join them at this point, we can probably influence the future more not less that way. I wonder what their goals are though, probably money, girls, drugs

We can't really understand the true nature of God, or Lucifer, as men. God, our creator, gave us free will, as men, to CHOOSE how we will live the life we are given. We can walk towards the good and the light, God, or walk towards evil and the darkness, Lucifer and his agents. Most of us walk towards the light for most of our lives, though we tend to veer towards the path of darkness on occasion. God knows this and understands, and through his son the Christ, forgives us for being the corruptible dumbasses we are, as we're only men.
The most powerful form of corruption available to Lucifer, and his agents, is POWER, and while not all men can be influenced by darkness, enough can to make it dangerous for the rest of us in the world. Powerful men, corrupted by Lucifer, make it easier for him to impact and disrupt the rest of us here on Earth.

Yes.
When individual nations have their sovereignity, you have to play by their rules. When you eliminate that sovereignity and take control, YOU make the rules. That's their goal. Create a single entity that can dictate to and control the masses for their own personal gain.
They succeeded in forming the European union and cucking western Europe, and since then they have been focusing on incorporating the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand under their control. However, Americans are much harder and less willing to be controlled as are those nations that have always maintained a relationship with "royalty".

This makes me think that there are some actions they want to take that are not popular internationally. Perhaps it's not about control but control for the sake of an agenda.. perhaps it's this agenda that I'm most curious about.

Of course. The same was true with internation communism back in the day, which is why EVERY SINGLE NATION that eventually became strong enough to impose communism resulted in the abject murder and slaughter of citizens that opposed it in their society. That's what makes me so sad to see western youth spew the Marxist ideology they've been indoctrinated with, as they haven't read the historical accounts of how violent and tyrannical their ideals actually are when implemented.

The opinions I give them to influence are part of the contract for making quality content. If they cannot make something that will change my point of view, it's not worth watching in the first place.
