It was smart to have them still be a couple but keeping it a secret. So it doesn't get in the way of other writers unless they want to pair Damian with someone else. It all depends on if other writers like the pair.
Williamson introduced the couple, and now he's going to write them again in the Batman and Robin book, and I could definitely see him putting Damian through his first break up, specially considering Nika is getting involved with Ra's, and that's never a good sign.

Nah, just somewhat brown/tanned depending on the artist and how much they want to focus on his Al Ghul heritage, he's very white in the current Batman and Robin book.
I know that Bruce is full white and that Talia is canonically half middle eastern half Chinese but even still and specifically as a middle eastern my self I hate when these gays assume everyone like me is black because

there's people here who have an autistic desire that all the robins look the same to "keep the illusion" even though it's clear no one actually believes that in comics and people know about multiple Robins.

At the end of the day, I'm fine with Damian being all white or somewhat brown for the sake of variety, what I don't like is when they make Damian way too dark, one of the reasons I don't like the webtoons comic.
He shouldn’t be tan or brown at all. He’s part Arab, part Chinese and half white. He should be just as light as his dad. Talia should be light skinned too. It’s just actual racism from artists who think all Arab characters need to be really dark.

Part of Damian's early characterization was that he didn't really have much of a social life, but he did get some friends later on, like Colin, Maps, Maya, etc.
I'm not counting the Teen Titans because that run sucked and it felt like it was almost explicitly made to turn Damian evil for 5G.

Look anon dark crisis was a fricking horrible disaster of an event , so I'm really thankful I was able to get some laughs from this issue art styles changing every few pages.
Also what happened to red canary she was cute/nice there but I don't think she will stuck for long she has the personality/powers type of a Golden age character not a modern one.

I mean, it usually varies by artist, but most depictions of adult Damian are normal sized, I don't ever recall him as a manlet.

I'm not sure what you mean. We saw Lizze grow up and so is Damian. In the latest story, he supposed to be in his twenty and he was a manlet.
I wouldn't trust any of King's future fanfiction, but it still goes against most other future versions of Damian, including one written by King where he's a big Batman guy.
He just looks small there because that's how he looks most recognizable as Robin, just like how he's big when he's Batman.
