And frankly, I don't see the UK leaving the human rights conventions any time soon. Not even Russia or Turkey have. The asylum part only impacts eastern euro countries that didn't have french copy pasted constitutions / human rights bills because they were communists. The asylum rule doesn't have an impact on western euro countries as it doesn't add anything new. If anything, it fricks over southern entry point countries like Spain, Greece and Italy by instating the "first country to set foot in" rule, although as you pointed out, can't really be proven. Now, even the UK can prove it, they can't send them back to Greece or Italy because they're out ot the EU.
Anyway, my point is that Brexit didn't do anything good regarding immigration, it only removed the few white migrants that you had.

Yes, TV licenses are required, yes, they will enforce it. It's also the same in germany, although I can't speak to the accuracy of their "database" claims. It seems like one of those "beware of dog" signs you put up even though you don't have a dog. You could buy a TV with cash, second-hand, craigslist or (LMFAO) straw purchase a TV to circumvent this totally real database. Here in germany you have to pay even without a TV because you could technically use a computer or your phone to watch the online offerings from the government TV channels. That being said, everyone here is in a database with address, fingerprints and whatever else they log for residence purposes. Combine that with your tax records which show everything from religion (gotta pay church tax if christian) to employment data and thus your bank accounts it would be trivial to find out if you paid your govt. tv fees/license whatever.

If brits don't buy enough licenses Parliament would just cut it out altogether and add it to your annual taxes instead. There's no way to get around it but the fact that they pay so much money to enforce the license system and make scary advertisements is ridiculous
