Literally all of those are right. Cinemaphile is for some reason the only board I ever here "x board is making fun of us again" posts which I can only assume are butthurtCinemaphile tards or /misc/homosexuals.
Cinemaphile has some of the worst poster quality out of any board, it probablbly has one of the highest proportion of underage users, hence the ever active death battle threads.
Cinemaphile is terrible because like this place it's infested with Mexicans and entrylevels who only want to talk about Popular Series. I'll make threads there trying to talk about or storytime stuff I think is good or neat and it's pointless because it gets drowned out and dropped off of the board after maybe attracting two other posters.
This place is shit but I'm sure I could probably storytime or try to talk about something that's not just MCU shit and get a decent if small conversation going compared to current Cinemaphile.
They do talk relatively obscure stuff and they surprisingly make an extra effort to bump slow threads.
But there definitely is people who straight up shit on you if you aren't talking about current year. it's weird. Or opposite of Cinemaphile that REALLY loves old stuff.
