That's not entirely true. He was raising money to start an educational streaming service and he didn't disclose that he intended it to be a religious educational streaming service. It's fine if he wants to make Christian cartoons, but he should have been 100% upfront about it from the beginning because some of the people who gave money felt lied to and they were expecting something more like PBS cartoons that anyone can watch regardless of their religious beliefs.

Savino is another case that I think needs a second look. He currently claims Cheyenne Curtis was the ringleader behind the allegation and he was in a consensual relationship with her for 2 years. A lot of the stuff never added up, and although Nickelodeon cracked to pressure to fire Savino they never really removed his name from the title and presumably still have to pay him royalties, ie, they never took it to a real court... I think they just wanted him out as showrunner.
