What is with season 9 of the Drew Carey show?
Half the time the cameraman shakes like a dog shitting razor blades, you can see the microphone and on a couple times you can the crew wtf is going
Also why is the order all out of wack.

Such a sad ending to my favorite show
I haven't finished the series yet still have several episodes to go but yeah they really butchered the last season
The show completely dropped the ball when Kate left. Ratings were cratering and they were desperate. The show had always had experimental episodes that people really enjoyed so they just leaned heavily into that and season 9 was the result. It's a shame the show ended on such a sour note and it's even more of a shame that it's almost been memory holed. It was one of the best sitcoms of the 90s and it's legacy is almost zilch.

Wish they'd just do a no licensed music blu ray release. Or even hire a band to make tracks that fit the tone of what's replaced. Damn also wish drew didn't go into that gameshow void but I guess no one can go against such a steady gig

I only watch new tv shows because my IQ is too high to enjoy hyper archaic systems. We've evolved.
They were already cancelled by then but it was cheaper for ABC to let them produce a final season rather than brea the contract, so it was done on the cheap and burned off in the summer. An hour of new Drew every week in the summer was fun.
