Android & Imperfect Cell.
The scenes of them investigating the rusted time machine while Piccolo faces Cell in the genocided town is incredibly suspenseful & haunting.
Humans are the greatest hacks of all time >I murdered an entire race, but because I didn't INTENT to kill them, it just happened naturally on the course of conflict, it's not genodice!
Saiyan is strictly the best, it has everything.
Android would be pretty close but instead of sticking the landing it makes everyone else look moronic just to convey that gohan is le strong now, but then goku still saves the day even though he's dead.
I loved the Namek Saga when I was a kid. Then as an adult watching DBZ Kai, the Namek saga feels more intense. It's this race to get the dragon balls before freeza or vegeta and then the ginyu force and goku are both close.
Then goku sits in a tank for however many episodes. It's soooo stupid. And Captain Ginyu is a really interesting villain. Loyal to Freeza, agrees to fight goku one on one. And he can body swap. Should have used him more.
I love Namek saga just for the whole premise of "galaxy of stupidly powerful buttholes end up duking it out with each other on a planet none of them had ever even heard of two days ago"
like imagine being a namekian and just farming and minding your own business and suddenly all this shit starts going down
Frieza saga would've been the perfect way to end the series. Having Goku unlock a legendary form that only 0.1% of Saiyans ever achieved and defeating the galactic overlord that destroyed his home planet is a much more poetic kino ending than what we got at the end of Z especially if he died in Namek afterwards.
Shit take. Android/Cell saga would have been the PERFECT ending because the CHADhan hype culminated in him winning and being the STRONGEST under the heavens, b***hgeta getting embarrased by a woman then a bugman, and Ratku dying like a b***h.
Namek is honestly the worst ending point just because all the other characters are pretty much thrown into a limbo. Buu saga was a mess but it landed the ending far better than most media out there, and we got schizo kino like picrel
>Buu destroyed Gohan's character though
Good.
They surely tried to make Gohan the new MC but they simply couldn't do it.
I like that they backpedaled and basically sidelined Gohan to be honest
Android because no arc starts off with so much hype as the Mysterious Stranger from the future going super saiyan,
Hyping up future Gohan as his master and revealing he’s bulma and vegetas kid. And the aesthetic of the four super saiyans is also unmatched
I like the Saiyan Saga in the original Z cut. Either Ocean dub or Funimation, they're both good. Easily the comfiest, most whimsical saga (of Z). After that, DBZ Kai has the better Namek/Frieza Saga. Android/Cell saga and Buu sagas both have great highs but a there's a lot of crap in between. People shit on the filler but without the filler you don't feel the stakes as much, and the pacing feels weird.
This. If you want me to be autistic they fricked up the Fusion saga. Super Buu in the TV broadcast had a filter over his voice making it sound deeper and fricked up. But the orange bricks just have the raw audio for Super Buu’s dialogue and he sounds like Raditz because it’s the same voice actor.
Dragonball ends with Super Sayan level 1.
Yes the rest have good fights and stuff but after going 2 with longer blonde hair, shit is cheapening THE 1st Super Sayan level.
Same happened sort of with KaioKen but not really because it is a whole different technique.
So KaioKen to Super Sayan was good and balanced.
Android & Imperfect Cell.

Genocide is the intent to murder an entire peoples
Cell was merely murdering for food
Therefore Israel is not committing genocide
Humans are the greatest hacks of all time

Namek > Saiyan > Buu > Android
They're all good, but to different degrees.
That was the highlight of that arc.
/a/
tis a shame they never properly finish the levels set
This. DBZ prints money and they still won't do a proper remaster.
Saiyan is strictly the best, it has everything.

/b/
Please take this shit to Cinemaphile. End of discussion. Also Android-Imperfect saga.
Buu Saga had the best horror stuff with how unstoppable Buu was, Piccolo humanity wiped out to buy time, and the lookout massacre.
Dbz should have ended after namek

It's a metaphor for the Vietnam war
Pilaf Saga.
freezer and it's not even close, you don't have to be contrarian about everything all the time

Buu destroyed Gohan's character though
He made the same exact mistake he make with Cell and got wienery and lost
>Buu destroyed Gohan's character though
Good.

This is true, androids that are somehow stronger than frieza and super saiyans is an absolutely moronic idea
Goku dying out in space on a technicality is not a satisfying ending.

Buu > Namek > Dragonball Season 1 > Saiyans > Piccolo stuff > Androids > Red Ribbon shit

Orange Bricks chads stay winning
>don't see teal in the sea
sea these nuts instead

yes that was a stupid change
Orange bricks are the worst thing to ever happen to Dragon Ball in the west
Saiyan>namek>buu>>>>>>>>>>>cell
Marron has no nose, so Krillian is 100% the father
>he doesn't know about microchimerism
Not 100% his.

Dragonball should have ended with Namek.
Buu would be the best if every gotenks scene was removed. I'm gonna go with the Cell saga. Mr Satan + Buu was absolute kino though
