One guy just wanted to make a whacky sci fi comedy show that doesn't take itself seriously and one dude wanted to make some try hard communist propaganda. One of those dude's ideas shined way brighter than the other's but then some bullshit happened and now it's all just propaganda.
It's just been on the air too long. Can you really think of that many non-Simpsons animated shows that have been good for more than four or five seasons? The first two seasons were great, been downhill since the mainstream latched onto it and made it so the creators had people to pander to.
nta but i hate the ones with the president. it's a shit charater. also the latest one with the letters was terrible. there is more than 3 that are bad, some that are ok, the rest is good.
-the episode Morty uses the horse fertility thing and ends up making sperm monsters that climaxes with the creation of a giant incest baby
-the episode where Beth and clone Beth end up having an extramarital affair and Jerry is made out to be a cuckold unwillingly until it climaxes in a threesome that grosses out Morty, Summer, and Rick
-the episode where the letters and numbers races are at war and they sing hiphop and stop the badguy who has become infinity, it climaxes with Ice Cube showing up and asking for help with his race of geometry
>did you even watch the episode? do you remember anything at all about it?
off the top of my head: >Rick turns himself into a pickle, Beth takes syringe. >family goes to therapy. At therapy Beth kinda fawns over Rick and kids see his flaws. >Pickle falls on the floor or whatever. Rick kills one roach, operates it as a vehicle >more wienerroaches, kinda a mech. kills rats, makes ratmech >John wick parody proves the animation style is terrible for action >Jaguar blah blah, Russian dies, Rick goes to therapy session >Rick forced to admit syringe was anti pickle serum >monologue about therapy being like brushing your teeth >jerry gets his money or whatever stolen by wolves in the post credits scene iirc
I don't even care about the memes or the screeching fanboys. it's a bad episode. it's a comedy show and the episode is not funny.

>pickle rick
The series peaked at Pickle Rick and I thought it would never be able to reach such heights again. Fortunately, the latest season has proved me wrong, and it is now better than ever.

Wow how do they come up with this stuff

I see what you did there but I actually enjoyed this week's episode.
lol, yeah but it's the first time I got done with an episode in the ten years this series has aired that I just reflected on it and realized I watched an episode I imediately don't like. It felt completely phoned in, and I thought it's like a "shitpost" episode. It seems like an ai wrote it, it's just so nonsensical like a robot just kept writing it. Letters, Numbers, Geometry, Star Wars, the teacher original taught Ice T who's an alien, I do not like this episode.
He fricking sent those DMs. If he was falsely accused of something like that and could prove his innocence he would have sued that b***h for libel, but he didn't.
But back to the topic at hand, what killed it was Roiland going on to make Solar Opposites (which he was also kicked from) leaving the production in the hands of Dan and all his diversity hires.
Second was R&M cutting all the story threads off at the start of season 3. Which turned into this whole conflict between serialized and episodic which other shows manage to balance without getting all uppity or dumb about it.
Third was Bushworld showing how much better the show could be if it stuck to comedy.
I actually thought the pickle episode was a brilliant performance by the writer. Because she inserts herself into the story as the psychologist to air her contempt for Rick and by extension the fanboys that love him. Then she inserts a moronic side story that those very fanboys ate up and adored and turned into a giant internet meme. it felt like she was dabbing on them and they didn't even notice or care.

Some of the best south park episodes are from the mid seasons
>68 episodes
>only 3 are bad
It's still going strong actually
name the three

>not the dragon one
I enjoyed it, what's not to like. What kind of sick shit do you reckon that telepathic cat was into?
>Not Pickle Rick
>Not the other one with the therapist lady
Any piece of media with therapy or therapists in it just pisses me off. Therapy is such a meme
I don't always mind it
in this case though, it's incredibly infuriating
why the frick would I hate Pickle Rick, because you guys incessently posted a garbage meme? so it's a bad episode??
did you even watch the episode? do you remember anything at all about it??
why the frick would I hate that episode?!
it just doesn't make any sense.
you fricking green post Pickle Rick
like it's supposed to mean something
like it's supposed to mean ANYTHING
it's hilarious I don't think it's possible to convey just the sheer audacity of you disliking it due to memes and shit, fricking tin man.

Interracial cukholding fetish
DOA
It just played itself out. The first seasons were creative and interesting, but then it became repetitive.
Of course also doesn't help that some people in charge seem to want to turn it into a social justice vehicle about waman power and gay shit.
nothing. still alive.
incest gays are a blight
It having cringe as frick fans.
The creator getting outed as a pedo didn't help either.
allegedly
He fricking sent those DMs. If he was falsely accused of something like that and could prove his innocence he would have sued that b***h for libel, but he didn't.

No matter how hard you simp and Reddit-space for Justin it won't change the fact he propositioned minors.
Literally who gives a shit kek what a gay thing to take a stand on
Wanna show me one of those DMs where he “propositioned minors”?
he wont because he cant. Just a pearl clutching plebitor
Killing Rick Prime. Last 2 episodes are dogshit.
It was never good.

TINY RICK
women, women were a mistake
It should have been either time shenanigans comedy or have a running plotline. Not both
