It got old, same old bits, nothing fresh. For years.
I'm shocked it stuck around on XM as long as it has. It's obvious to everyone the dude stopped giving a shit years ago.

Me. You can't cancel your subscription over the internet and have to call customer service. I have phone anxiety and can't bring myself to do it so they've been charging me $20 a month for the last fourteen years. I don't even have the car anymore. I tried cancelling the credit card and getting a new one to try to escape them, but the charge just got transferred over to the new card.

The downfall of Howard Stern is honestly one of the saddest casualties of globohomosexual and wokeness permeating popular culture.

      >permeating popular culture
Permeating... it comes from it. Back then we called them sjws and they were limited to tumblr and other such homosexual shows and nobody liked them. At some point the wrinkly old israelites behind the media saw the potential and they made it the new thing. Most people are stupid and they need to be told what to think. Schlomo rosenbergstein the media mogul is happy to do that

Yea those things made it worse but what killed it is Howard selling out to PC crowd and refusing to remain a rebel so he could enjoy his wealth in his old age and it shows what kind of person he is that he just doesnt give a single frick now and I feel bad for everyone involved who will try living off his residuals when he dies. He censors ALL content, or rather burries into non existence, anything anyone modern day could have a problem with. So all that he has is endless reruns of the same old crap everyones seen. Not that any of his old stuff wouldnt be "reruns" but theres so much of it that is good and would still be good today and he is a coward.

        2013

Around the time he started curating content for the sirius xm app and the app became the primary form of listening. I think he became most obsessed with public image then, but its too gradual. Overall when the internet became more and more mainstream he started curating his content toward PC more and more slowly.

Artie leaving played a significant role.

He was the last bulwark against the neoliberal currents taking over the show. Howard knew how to "evolve". Artie couldn't and / or wouldn't. Howard was always a voice of the Establishment though, pro-police, pro-militarist, pro-government over the individual, e.g. defending (and refusing to discuss) NSA spying when it was exposed. Racial comedy, etc. was permitted by the Establishment at that time, presuming you were politically 'on message'. Now that the Establishment has adopted an antiracist makeover, many a "shock jock" were summarily disappeared from the industry and relegated to small remnants spread out on obscure podcasts followed by an equally obsolete fanbase, akin to a kind of survived vestige of a mind control program long ago shuttered. Howard Stern is adaptable however, and made all the right contacts in both the liberal and conservative establishments. It's laughable his show begins with "Call me the American Nightmare ..." obviously invoking his "maverick" reputation, when the present day show is essentially a dumbed down rehash of NBC.

Interesting (on this point) that Robin Quivers was a Capt. in the U.S. Air Force's Medical Division during the same period she's active with a coven of witches in San Francisco. During this 1960s period San Francisco was a base for CIA mind control research using occult groups. Recall she later started dating "Mr. X," who I believe was a high level figure in the government (never identified)?

Both Stern and O & A had very close relationships (extending to personal security and staff) with New York law enforcement which similarly interfaces with U.S. security services. Recall during the latter period of Artie's participation on the show (and height of his addiction) he was regularly tailed, guarded, handled by two off duty New York cops.

Surrounding himself with pathetic yes-men like Baba Booey (imagine being a grown man who responds to this name), and all of those other homosexuals who just non-stop fellated him 24/7. Imagine being a Howard Stern hanger-on and having to stroke his ego constantly. Dignity level = 0.
