Listing which shows/movies you didn't like isn't a definition.
Putting women and minorities in a pedestal at the expense of straight white males as a form of historical reparation. Can't get any more obvious after stuff like MOTU Revelations and the Obi Wan Kenobi series saw the light of day.
Predictable definition, though immediately undone by the examples given. Like, how is Obi-Wan Kenobi "woke"? Because it has a black woman as a villain? Wouldn't that actually be anti-woke?
Is this true? Why does every random character need their own show?
Mark my words, there will be a Dexter's diner show by the end of this.

They should have just thrown money at Samuel L Jackson and made a noir influenced Mace Windu show where he's solving crimes and avoiding patrols after he survived falling 70 stories in episode 3.
I don't care how stupid the premise is, I would much rather have that if they had to make yet another star wars show.

>So at what point did movies start getting "woke"
When I was born. >and why weren't the movies who did the same thing prior not "woke"
Because I wasn't born yet.
Let's look at the remaining avengers. >Thor: White >Other Thor: White >Spider-Man: White >Dr. Strange: White >Ant-Man: White >Wasp: White >Star-Lord: White >Captain Marvel: White >Scarlet Witch: White >Hawkeye: White >Other Hawkeye: White >Winter Soldier: White >Vision: White >Captain Falcon: Black >Black Panther: Black >War Machine: Black >Moon Knight: israeli >Ms Marvel: Pakistani
Thor: White God that lost his entire family and got depressed and fat
Other Thor: israeli Woman that becomes a Nordic Goddess
Spider-Man: White with a mixed girlfriend
Dr. Strange: White who gets cucked by his ex-girlfriend that marries a black man
Ant-Man: White
Wasp: White
Star-Lord: White who lost his girlfriend due to Thanos, and when he sees her again, she's not the same he used to know
Captain Marvel: White Woman with an obnoxious and insufferable personality, literally the feminist you'd see on Tumblr
Scarlet Witch: israeli and Romani
Hawkeye: White
Other Hawkeye: White
Winter Soldier: White
Vision: Robot
Captain Falcon: Black
Black Panther: Black
War Machine: Black
Moon Knight: israeli
America Chavez: Latina
Ms. Marvel: Pakistani
Woke refers to faux awakening to social issues that lean away from the previous individualistic liberal paradigm to a collectivistic far left one. Rooted in academic mutation of first world issues from people who believe they understood things on higher level others. Go to wikipedia if you think it isn't real.
>Define "woke".
Corporations pandering to minorities for profit and reinforcing the identity politics narrative that has been established over the past 12 years to prevent the masses from organizing another Occupy Wall Street, since the wokeness is always centered around identity and never around the actual issue, which is class.
>Real answer is "has a woman in it"
Yet somehow Terminator, Alien, Wonder Woman, Kill Bill, Tomb Raider and many other films throughout the 80s-00s weren't woke. Your definition is false.
Mid Knight is mid. The problem with the MCU shows is that they're all perfectly mediocre. Just good enough to where you can't say they're bad, but not exciting and well paced enough to truly love them.
They built up years and years of set up and then instantly blew it in endgame, not that it wsd bad it was a great send off but I think they should have been setting up other stuff as well
The most eventful movie in this phase will probably go down to be No Way Home or maybe GOTG 3. Doesn't compare to the hype of the Avengers and Endgame.
No Way Home banked well on nostalgia for something people actually liked. If I were Disneed right now, I would be planning an X-men movie that featured the original cast.
Endgame felt like the end for a lot of people. But instead of proving them wrong and providing the audience with a new hook for the next 5-10 years, Marvel released a solo movie for a dead character and 2 movies about some literally who's. The hooks for those movies were "Asians do martial arts" and "super powerful gods were on Earth all along". The Disney+ series was just the final nail in the coffin, as it provides general audiences with a new superhero fix at home whenever they want, as well as making the entire MCU feel too overwhelming.
This anon is the only one whos correct.
Covid really fricked their release schedules and having to continue to delay BW only to eventually dump it on D+ was killer.
The D+ series have all been pretty good/ok at worst but it gives you more time with the character. They've just all unfortunately been unable to stick the landing because its obvious they want to set up future movies/shows so there's no clear "end".
Unless there's some blockbuster reason for people to get into the movie theaters (presumably like NWH's 3 spideys and Strange 2's cameos) i thin Disney is going to have a tough time with people coming out to see movies when the better content is at home.
If I were them, i'd figure out how to partner with theaters and show the new episodes of the D+ series in theaters each week with a "Disney+ Pass" or something. Let people come see it for free with their regular subscription and sell them the regular concessions. In Pakistan, they're airing the eps in theaters since the D+ isn't in the country yet.
they have few good new ips left, X-Men, Punisher, Ghost Rider .... Fantastic Four is basically the villains and The Thing, nobody gives a frick about the others, Daredevil looks like shit and all the others are horrible >B-but they'll make money
yes

This is gonna be a problem for the MCU in the future. People aren't going to watch this Ms Marvel show, but it's supposed to set up the "The Marvels" movie but barely any MCU fans will have watched Ms Marvel by then.
Ant-Man 3 for example, you won't understand it unless you watch Loki which explains Kang and how he became a villain. I wonder if they'll do anime style recaps now.

>Don't forget to watch F&TWS before Captain America 4, goy.
Yeah frick off Kevin Fiege I'm not watching your shitty money laundering TV shows. I'm still mad Moon Knight was a boring CW TV show instead of a movie with an actual budget.
>have a natural conclusion for most characters and a fitting end with Endgame >keep churning out the quarterly disney slop cause whos gonna stop us? GOD?
I watched Jessica Jones a little bit yesterday. I've seen like Punisher and Daredevil. I'm telling you, it's completely refreshing from Disney+ shit that feels like it was made specifically so kids could watch it too. I do not get hyped for their TV shows. I'm looking forward to Secret Invasion and that's mostly it on that side. The others will be stuff I backlog or take my time to get to.
Movies have been pretty mid and there's no clear direction to it all. I'm still gonna watch them all, but I despise anything to do with the multiverse nowadays. Black Panther and Captain Marvel are the only ones that seemingly have big regular story lines they're building up that aren't just multiverse homosexualry.
Idk it's just that there are older movies with real planes and stuff and it just makes the cgi version look pretty weak imo. Like superheroes and magic don't exist so ofc they need cgi for most of the effects but they couldn't just film some actual planes flying around?
People are just getting tired of magic in general. It was the new zombies and just like zombies, now it's boring. People waving their hands around to make colors go woosh isn't exciting anymore.
Rewatching Iron Man 1 is such a ride because of the lack of magic. It feels so tactile and real compared to everything after Phase 1.
Pretty sad. Shang Chi was ok, but it feels like the only one that wasn't being held together with duct tape. You can clearly see all the glaring issues in MoM, NWH and Eternals.
The MCU started off with streamlined takes on classic storylines, a relatively coherent plan, and most importantly comic-accurate casting and relatively known names. Now they've diluted the brand by throwing everything at the well, everyone's getting blackwashed, they have literal nobodies playing big names and they have no plan while breaking the lore in every other movie. Not to mention that every single flick follows the same exact quip-filled structure with awful CGI and dumbed down stories.
Literally who cares? I'm burned out on all pop culture. And I say that as someone with thousands in merch and manhours. I have some collections I need to finish and it's a literal pain in the ass because I don't care. It's all gone downhill, it's all soulless and creatively bankrupt.
I'm not even OP. Making a thread 3 times over the span of a few months isn't insane. That's pretty normal. Being on Cinemaphile 24/7 to know every single thread that's been made is insane.
>still malding >still obsessed with trannies
I'm sorry, but I'm not interested in being a woman, anon. You have to go outside and talk to a real one yourself.

I mean I did say hype would die after Endgame, and that appears to be the case. People seem to only care about Spiderman anymore, and I don't blame them he's the last interesting character.
MCU fatigue is here. People used to watch every new MCU project. Now they selectively watch them.
Same thing is happening with Star Wars. No one fricking cares about Bad Batch. Disney is cheapening their properties by turning them into content factories.
Someone has a good image of the public interest in marvel TV shows plummeting with every new show but I don't have it.
Anecdotally though, yeah my friend group only cares about the movies and even then we still haven't watched Eternals or Shang-Chi. I used to watch every new movie that came out at the midnight showing.
Endgame killed the hype. It gave such a satisfying conclusion that there is not much else to be hyped about. Everything else feels recycled, when MCU first started it was fresh and new not its the status quo
Oversaturation and blowing their load with Spider-Man.
Boseman dying also caused problems.
They do have 3 more bullets in the chamber, the X-Men, Fantastic 4, and Miles.
If they pull those off well it could buy another ten years.
The existence of the disney+ shows, regardless of quality.
The Wandavision and F&WS were neat treats when they first appeared, in large part due to the fact that we hadn't had a new MCU movie in a while because covid delays. But now, there is always something MCU related to watch. We never have any downtime. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, it gives you something to look forward to in the future and anticipation has time to build. I'm not anticipating Thor 4 if I'm fresh off Multiverse of Madness and I have 3 Disney Plus shows to watch between now and then set in the same universe.
The existence of the D+ shows fundamentally changes the ecosystem these movies live in, its too crowded now to get emotionally invested in any specific one of them for long.
Ignoring the woke garbage, each new hero makes all previous heroes obsolete. In Phase 1 to 3, each new hero adds an additional tool to the Avengers arsenal. Now, there's no point in introducing a hero unless he/she can wipe out the galaxy with one finger.
you know what's killing the MCU? Sony having the rights to Spider-man. yeah, frick didney and all that, but I've always said that Spider-man is Marvel's best hero. It's no coincidence that his films are the best in the MCU, even the botched No Way Home, and they need to make more of them with more of Spider-man's villains. They're damn good villains.
I don't care if its Ngollo Mukakke written in the credits as long as he's masked all the time like he should be. Just get a good voice actor to dub it over.
Oversaturation. 2-3 movies a year was perfect but now they're adding a bunch of series to it as well, it's just too much and people stop caring. They also need a new hero to build around like Iron Man and Captain America.
who the hell is ladderbro and why don't i care
i can answer the second question: it doesn't matter what he is, you are still moronic for giving him attention
>What killed the hype?
More than 50% of the list has been terrible
Especially the movies
Black Widow was horrendous
Shang-Chi could have been much better
LMAO ETERNALS
Doctor Strange wasn't good since it was just a pure continuation of WandaVision guest starring Doctor Strange
Nobody is looking forward to Captain Marvel 2
Black Panther II better not have PS2 fight scenes again
Guardian of the Galaxy will do fine
So will Thor
Nobody wants a Fantastic 4 movie
I haven't seen any of the television shows besides What If which was pretty hype with Ultron Knight Vision, that should have been the next big bad for the Avengers in the movies
>Nobody wants a Fantastic 4 movie
A well done Fantastic 4 movie could give a 2nd wind to the MCU idk why they blew their loads early and put Reed Richards in DS2.
So, OP, when the MCU dies, how will it improve your life? Sounds like your life will stay mostly on the same trajectory, and you'll find some other thing to make the same thread over. Embarrassing behavior from you, honestly. But what can I expect from a schizo who makes the same thread 3 times? lmfao.
It's pretty crazy considering we used to have multiple threads every day during the Wandavision and Loki shows, but even moon knight struggled to have a single discussion thread during episode release days.
But I already pointed out how hype for the shows even on Cinemaphile is dead now

I used to hate this copypasta but as I've gotten older I see what they mean. I'm 28 now and the idea of seeing Thor 4 in theaters makes me hate myself. I don't know any other well adjusted adults my age that get excited for this shit anymore.
Over pandering to Women and Minorities along with over staying there welcome. I personally stopped caring once they made Doc Strange a side character in his own movie and had Wanda and America Chavez take a more precedent role. Now I'm just numb to the MCU won't even bother pirating their movies anymore
No Way Home, that movie gave people everything they ever wanted and it was just 2 years after Endgame, people are just tired now and are waiting for the next time Tobey Maguire shows up
>What's even more sad is this MCUgay browses Cinemaphile so much he saw all 3 threads. Actually, I guessed. I didn't know OP made the same thread tons of times until now.
>o clear end goal
the goal now is Secret Wars 2015, nobody gives a frick because they haven't introduced the FF, Galactus and Dr Doom.
At least it will end in a very successful movie, unless people lose interest in the multiverse bullshit, as of now people just want Tobey Maguire back again but that's up to Sony
It's a fact that people did lose interest in the overall MCU, aside from Spider-man
>at least Disney executives will make money!
Phew! That's a relief. Thanks for reminding me, anon. I was worried for a second there that they wouldn't be able to buy their 8th yacht.
it is basically Nostalgia bait shit, i suppose that, if they can, they'll get Halle Berry, Gruffudd, Wesley Snipes and Nicolas Cage and they'll kill them in 10 minutes.
Multiverse shit is not entertaining. It doesn't add anything to the story. It's not cool in the comics and it's not cool now. Grounded, solo stories that explore the character itself will always be superior to multiverse shit.
>but muh No Way Home!!! It was kino!!!!!!!!
No it fricking sucked because the entire movie revolved around the multiverse gimmick. Ironically the best parts of the movie are before Tobey/Andrew showed up and after they left. It robbed Spiderman of having an actual character arc, at least an original one. He literally just learns the same lesson he learned in the last 2 movies but this time with heccin Sony Spiderman references. Also Aunt May's death is still forced and goofy.
This. Same reason the Flash movie will suck. I fricking hate this cancerous multiverse shit being imported into DC movies with Micheal Keaton coming back as Batman. The same morons who love that probably hated The Batman movie because it was more grounded and just wanted to tell a Batman story.
>Multiverse shit is not entertaining.
Correct >Grounded, solo stories that explore the character itself will always be superior to multiverse shit.
Ehh yes, but just grounded solo stories are not the best either. I do enjoy space and magic stuff, but the problem is that the multiverse makes everything else feel pointless. I miss when going into space in the MCU was a big deal, and why didn't we ever get scenes of Tony Stark being baffled over actual magic being real? GotG is okay, but especially the sequel makes all the space stuff seem silly and like a joke with even Ego, a supposed celestial, acts like a human. Still waiting for an MCU outer space movie that takes itself seriously.
I didn't say solo stories are perfect, but they still feel like actual stories. When the writer is forced to write actual scenes with just the hero and give them emotional weight instead of "let's show professor Xavier and everyone will clap" it leads to better storytelling. It's not a coincidence the movie called Multiverse of Madness gets so much hate for having a bad story.
The movie would have been better imo if they focused just on the Scarlet Witch concept and dropped the wacky multiverse shit. Explain how the ancient temple is there, go in depth on Chthon and the Elder gods, go to actual mystical dimensions instead of the multiverse etc.
If they really had to do the multiverse, it should have been kept for Spider-Man, Ant-Man, and the Fantastic 4. The multiverse was always more of a scientific concept in the comics rather than a magical thing. Doctor Strange has more than enough lore by himself than to needlessly force in the multiverse into his movie tbh.
The actual interesting potential ideas in MoM, such as Chthon being the shadowy, malicious, author of the narrative, and the characters being trapped in his story, which would have made Wanda destroying the Darkhold actually meaningful, and Strange's path against the Darkhold's narrative profound. They could have played on that meta aspect cleverly, with Chthon being the director, being Raimi, in effect.
Instead they leaned into "muh babies", made the plot simplistic to accomodate the cameos, and made a new character the centre of the story.
For me, Disney+. It's a bad streaming service to begin with but the idea that I need to watch everything to keep up? Cool concept but I just don't give a shit after they beat Thanos and the shows are just bad.
It's gonna be funny when Thor 4 has over a $200 million opening domestic weekend and people will say the MCU is better then ever. I remember people calling the MCU over after Thor 2. And then the next movie out Captain America 2 made people more excited in this shit then ever lol. It's a wave. People like comedy Marvel. Not weird Marvel like DS2. Simple as
The story reached its natural conclusion.
The cinematic universe is no longer a novelty.
Casual movie goers are less likely to follow their TV shows
And there's no longer central figure like RDJ, who happened to be a beloved and charismatic actor in real life.
>no RDJ or Chris Evans
Kevin Feige is going to try and force Captain Marvel or Sam to be the new face of the MCU, but they don't want to accept people won't rally behind someone who isn't an attractive and charismatic white man.
>Feige
Feige isn't moron, he knows that the new faces of the MCU that will be with Holland are: Wolverine, Ben Grim, Storm and maybe Punisher these are the best characters that he has.
>Holland >face of the MCU
He's already on his way out bro.
Also characters can't be the face of the MCU. It has to be an actor. Captain America and Iron Man weren't popular because of their characters, they were popular because they were being portrayed by charismatic and attractive white men. Casting has been crucial in the MCU's popularity, and after all the legacy actors retire, they're going to be left with a bunch of literal whos that no one cares about.
And the Fantastic 4, who Feige loves. Hopefully the F4 probably will be all-White in the MCU, as Fox already pulled the blackwashing trick once, and they probably don't want to copy Fox. Thor and Strange probably will stick around a bit longer too. Cyclops might become a big character as well
>F4 >all white
Are you insane? In 2022? 2 will be white maximum, probably Mr. Fantastic and Ben. Johnny and Sue will definitely be brown twins siblings.
>strange >thor >sticking out a bit longer
Do MCUgays not have any concept of the flow of time? Those dudes are like 50 now. Cumberbatch is probably done after DS3 and I wouldn't be surprised if Thor 4 is a surprise finale for Hemsworth.
This is what your Iron Man would look like today if he stayed in.
MCU manchildren don't see actors that age and have lives outside of capeshit, they just see capeshit characters that are immune from time like in comics.
Thor will be BetaRayBill'd, Ruffalo will be full CGI too, Strange could last longer, > what about Cyclops?
Well they could do something with Mr Sinister or maybe Corsair, i think the X-Men will be Storm and Wolverine basically, it could be great if they cast likeable people, i want Radcliffe and KiKi Layne.
I'm pretty sure Beta Ray Bill is at least another decade out. You're gonna have to wait a long time to see some of the actually cool parts of Marvel Cosmic rather than just getting "OOGA CHAKA" for the third fricking movie in a row
Everyone is saying oversaturation and how it became woke but the real issue is just bad writing. Even if they had a mediocre level of writing like what's seen in Shang Chi they'd be able to make decent money. They're literally just winging it now. They planned for the infinity saga and didn't think about what to make after it was over. Tbh I can't even blame them. One thing DC has that Marvel, especially the avengers, just can't compete with is well fleshed out legacy characters.
Batman has the entire Bat family. Superman has his cousin Supergirl, his son, a clone of himself, Steel, the eradicator and more kryptonians. There's like 7 human green lanterns. Flash has Wally and Bart. Wonder woman has two wonder girls. Even Aquaman has Garth, Kaldur, Lagoon boy and several Aquagirls. That doesn't include the plethora of young heroes they could put in from the young justice or teen titans comics.
Who tf are the young avengers? The only two characters with any real potential are Spiderman and Nova if they do him right. MCU should have ended with infinity war or endgame and left it at that. Restarted with a xmen story instead. DC are so moronic they couldn't even do their OG JL characters right.
They can some more with the X-men that Fox couldn't though, such as actual magical Juggernaut, X-men with magical connections such as Magik, the Shi'Ar empire, Apocalypse having Celestial tech tying into the Eternals and the origin of the X-gene, not to mention all the crossovers with other MCU properties.
Yes they could do lots of things but you know they'll do Magneto again in the first movie, House of M maybe, after that Sentinels, God Loves Man Kills, X-Tinction Agenda, Mutant Massacre ......
Anon, those are the X-Men equivalent of people saying "maybe they'll get Doom right this time". It's things the existing fanbase care about, none of that's inherently going to be a draw to normies.
Yes they could do lots of things but you know they'll do Magneto again in the first movie, House of M maybe, after that Sentinels, God Loves Man Kills, X-Tinction Agenda, Mutant Massacre ......
Magneto in the first movie is one of the biggest possible mistakes they could make, if they want a bigger audience than the Fox X-Men movies got, they need to do something new and different, not repeat the exact same things Fox already did, and Fox really overused Magneto.
We just need a real banger of a movie to get people interested in the future of where everything is going. I don't think the skrull stuff will be enough and I'm not sure where they're going to go with the multi-dimension stuff at this point.
That would probably help, yeah. I think they were hoping it would be Black Panther but obviously that didn't work out and Strange just never felt right as a leading man and wasn't different enough from Tony.
Maybe Reed will pull it off
People are actually getting sick of capeshit movies. Marvel ran comics into the ground in the 90s by oversaturating it with "hype!" bullshit. Now they're doing it again and the entire industry will die this time for good.
Whoever the team working at Disney+, or maybe the resources they're given.
All the shows feel so sterile. I could have been behind She-Hulk, Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, etc. but something about the production of what's out makes it feel like they are just being shit out to fill out Diseny+'s catalog. It doesn't feel like there's any creativity or inspiration behind it.
I stopped watching the movies after Avengers 1 because I was just over-saturated. It made me feel sick.
Two obvious causes:
1) RDJ wanted out
2) Infinity War & Endgame
The MCU needed a charismatic (or someone the public perceives as charismatic) lead and an accompanying power fantasy to fit that lead. That's how you get international box office because people love that shallow shit, Tom Cruise built an entire career around it. It doesn't have to be a white guy, but it has to be a guy. That's the market, whether you like it or not. None of the clowns who remain on the MCU roster have the screen presence to be that guy or are stuck playing some tertiary nobody. And the second point is that the people who grew up watching this garbage got their exit point with the two-parter megamovie, but there hasn't been a second Iron Man 1 to restart the hype train, and why couldn't those people simply watch the original "Iron Man MCU saga", which loops back to the first point about marketable leads that don't exist for this new era of the MCU.
the clear anti white male woke agenda.
white men are only in these movies to be sexually exploited and be depicted as less intelligent and weaker then women / blacks
time
Just came back from Thor 4
They've over-saturating the market with woke, garbage movies about D list characters nobody cares about.
Define "woke".
No. Dilate.
Not a definition.
Listing which shows/movies you didn't like isn't a definition.
Predictable definition, though immediately undone by the examples given. Like, how is Obi-Wan Kenobi "woke"? Because it has a black woman as a villain? Wouldn't that actually be anti-woke?
she has a new series on schedule because Disney was just using Kenobi as a stepping ladder to promote their new mary sue character
Define a "woman" you sick frick.
xx chromsome
>He thinks shes a villian
She's obviously the stealth protag, its already been leaked that shes getting her own show
Is this true? Why does every random character need their own show?
Mark my words, there will be a Dexter's diner show by the end of this.
They want a strong POC queen character and theyre using the Obi Wan show as a blatant step ladder
FatWS, LOKI, What if, Hawkeye, Ms Marvel, Ironhearth, Echo, House of Harkness(rumored musical), Black Widow, Eternals, Multiverse of Madness, SheHuk, Moon Knight, Whor .....
Who asked for this crap, and it is not only that they are woke, most of them are/will be tv movies-tier at best
I swear this site gets fricking dumber each and every day.
Putting women and minorities in a pedestal at the expense of straight white males as a form of historical reparation. Can't get any more obvious after stuff like MOTU Revelations and the Obi Wan Kenobi series saw the light of day.
So at what point did movies start getting "woke" and why weren't the movies who did the same thing prior not "woke"
>So at what point did movies start getting "woke"
When I was born.
>and why weren't the movies who did the same thing prior not "woke"
Because I wasn't born yet.
when Hollywood's top priority became rebooting and remaking old stuff for a modern audience rather than creating new IPs.
Let's look at the remaining avengers.
>Thor: White
>Other Thor: White
>Spider-Man: White
>Dr. Strange: White
>Ant-Man: White
>Wasp: White
>Star-Lord: White
>Captain Marvel: White
>Scarlet Witch: White
>Hawkeye: White
>Other Hawkeye: White
>Winter Soldier: White
>Vision: White
>Captain Falcon: Black
>Black Panther: Black
>War Machine: Black
>Moon Knight: israeli
>Ms Marvel: Pakistani
Real frickin' woke there buddy.
Thor: White God that lost his entire family and got depressed and fat
Other Thor: israeli Woman that becomes a Nordic Goddess
Spider-Man: White with a mixed girlfriend
Dr. Strange: White who gets cucked by his ex-girlfriend that marries a black man
Ant-Man: White
Wasp: White
Star-Lord: White who lost his girlfriend due to Thanos, and when he sees her again, she's not the same he used to know
Captain Marvel: White Woman with an obnoxious and insufferable personality, literally the feminist you'd see on Tumblr
Scarlet Witch: israeli and Romani
Hawkeye: White
Other Hawkeye: White
Winter Soldier: White
Vision: Robot
Captain Falcon: Black
Black Panther: Black
War Machine: Black
Moon Knight: israeli
America Chavez: Latina
Ms. Marvel: Pakistani
Fixed that for you
>Scarlet Witch: israeli and Romani
She's not either of those in the MCU, and she's not even israeli in the comics, just half-Roma.
what's the point you making that having stuff happen to characters makes them not white?
>Doesn't realize that Phase 2 of racial purity is then making up who's the most white
I guess i'm not white anymore since I got depressed
Just save your time.
what happened with obi wan?
Woke refers to faux awakening to social issues that lean away from the previous individualistic liberal paradigm to a collectivistic far left one. Rooted in academic mutation of first world issues from people who believe they understood things on higher level others. Go to wikipedia if you think it isn't real.
>collectivistic far left
So having women, queers and coloreds have a stronger presence in media is a radical ideology now? Absolutely moronic.
Not everywhere is America. MCU Fatigue is probably even bigger outside of America now because of your forced idpol shit.
>Define "woke".
'insincere pandering for publicity'
>Define "woke".
Corporations pandering to minorities for profit and reinforcing the identity politics narrative that has been established over the past 12 years to prevent the masses from organizing another Occupy Wall Street, since the wokeness is always centered around identity and never around the actual issue, which is class.
based commie
Fantastic how every reply to this comment is completely unhinged and detached from reality
Real answer is "has a woman in it"
>Real answer is "has a woman in it"
Yet somehow Terminator, Alien, Wonder Woman, Kill Bill, Tomb Raider and many other films throughout the 80s-00s weren't woke. Your definition is false.
all the tv shows suck and the movies are mediocre.
yep. and they're churning out way too much shit at once. quantity over quality
Moon Knight is good
Mid Knight is mid. The problem with the MCU shows is that they're all perfectly mediocre. Just good enough to where you can't say they're bad, but not exciting and well paced enough to truly love them.
Disagree, because I can at least list TF&TWS as an awful show
Based and true, but F&TWS was butchered by the removed vaccine plotline otherwise it probably would've been perfectly mediocre if they left it intact.
Endgame
Post-Endgame has no build up and no hype.
They built up years and years of set up and then instantly blew it in endgame, not that it wsd bad it was a great send off but I think they should have been setting up other stuff as well
they have beeen doing the Celestials from GotG vol1, you can see Collector in The dark world's postcredit too.
I just feel like they are trying to rush this multiverse storyline really badly after the infinity saga ended
The most eventful movie in this phase will probably go down to be No Way Home or maybe GOTG 3. Doesn't compare to the hype of the Avengers and Endgame.
No Way Home banked well on nostalgia for something people actually liked. If I were Disneed right now, I would be planning an X-men movie that featured the original cast.
checked, that is what X-Men 97' is about
no way they get the ones people care about
Wokeness
Everything’s basically built up to endgame. MCU has nothing interesting now.
Fantastic Four is basically the villains and The Thing, nobody gives a frick about the others, Daredevil looks like shit and all the others are horrible
>B-but they'll make money
yes
Frick after Kingpin in Hawkeye i don't want to see what the they are going to do with the skull boys.
>Bring Kingpin into MCU

>nooooo you can only have a conversation about a certain topic once and never again
Archive trannies need to cool their autism it's getting cringe.
>make the same thread for a year and a half
>"No, you're the one who needs to chill!"
Pathetic
Not sure if this is your first day on Cinemaphile or not but threads are very often made multiple times. Not everyone is an autist like you who monitors Cinemaphile all day and knows every thead that's been made. have a nice day sperg lmao.
>"No, let me recycle my tard rage every day for the rest of my life!"
Even more pathetic.
>we can have repeated generals multiple times a day
>but don't you dare ask why the MCU is losing hype multiple times a year
MCUgays are getting desoera6.
Not sure if this is your first day on Cinemaphile but morons make the same moronic threads for a year shouldn't be accepted. Not everyone is an autist like you who allows shitty threads to stay up.
>shouldn't be accepted
According to who? You?
Hey homosexual. How about you accept my wiener in your mouth? No one cares what you think should and shouldn't be acceptable.
>malding this hard that anons noticed him making the same thread for over a year
What a failure of a man you are. I feel sorry for your mother.
>acting like you aren't the autistic archive troony
>trannies live rent free in your head even though I'm a man
You're so pathetic.
Archive autists are so annoying. I've never seen this thread before. Not everyone browses Cinemaphile all day every day like you.
I change up my image hashes and posting patterns all the time to frick with archive trannies. You should download Kuroba Ex it lets you change an image hash every time you post it.
>doing this because you're too stupid to think of a different idea for a thread
kek
Cope. Anonymous imageboard. Don't like it, go back to you know where.
>go back to you know where.
Your mom's pussy?
Imagine being so insecure about the MCU you can't handle 3 threads being made since January, one of which was deleted anyways.
Imagine being so insecure you let Marvel stay in your head for 18 months.
They think the MCU is a forever fad and can't stand watching people express their discontent.
What's even more sad is this MCUgay browses Cinemaphile so much he saw all 3 threads. I only come here like once a month lmao, cartoons and comics suck now.
>What's even more sad is this MCUgay browses Cinemaphile so much he saw all 3 threads.
Actually, I guessed. I didn't know OP made the same thread tons of times until now.
>3 times in 6 months
>tons of times
Ah so you also agree the MCU content factory is pumping out too much shit.
What does what I said have to do with the MCU, you moron? Did you try too hard at pretending to be multiple people you can't even follow a conversation correctly?
If 3 threads in 6 months is too much for you, then how are 3 TV shows and 2 movies in 6 months not too much?
>OP rationalizing his own samegayging by comparing threads to movies
Are you okay?
You said 3 threads like OP's is too much and too many. Yet in that same timeframe the MCU has pumped out a bunch of shit content too.
Either you think both should stop or neither. Otherwise you're a shill.
>OP admits his brain is too small to watch 2 movies in 6 months
kek
Not him but there's much better shit to watch than MCU shows. The Boys for example. I'll watch that, but I can't think of a single interesting aspect of Ms Marvel.
The problem is the world is filled with content now, and if your content is mediocre, I'm not gonna consoom it. I'll go consoom something else. Hell, I'd rather just watch YouTube.
I'm still mad Moon Knight was a boring CW TV show instead of a movie with an actual budget.
>the post that destroyed OP
kek
make it less obvious, moron
>Morbius got panned by critics while Doc Strange 2 didn't despite being equally garbage movies
why?
It did get relatively panned. It only got like a 70% on RT. Without the Disney bonus that's around 50%.
Disney bux.
Morbius was awful and only got positive reviews through meme magic, while Strange 2 is actually good.
>have a natural conclusion for most characters and a fitting end with Endgame
>keep churning out the quarterly disney slop cause whos gonna stop us?
Go away Mouse shill
Marvel sisters.....
I dont get why topgun is so popular? Do people really just watch cgi planes for almost 2 hours?
People are bored of CGI superhero magic and want to see CGI planes now. It's not that hard anon.
My time is come...
It feels so tactile and real compared to everything after Phase 1.
>cgi planes
morons
Yes. All over the country people pay money to go to "air shows" which is just Too Gun but live.
>I dont get why capeshit is so popular? Do people really just watch cgi wizards bounce around a green screen for almost 2 hours?
Endgame did.
>Shang-Chi > Multiverse of Madness > Black Widow > No Way Home > Eternals
/thread + checked
Endgame was a satisfying conclusion to the MCU and anything after it is garbage.
there are a lot of repeat threads to get mad about, but this one's been made 3 times. that's nothing compared to the moore or homer spergs.
Obviously the archive troony is just a butthurt MCUgay that only wants positive MCU discussion.
you are equally insane but in a different way
I'm not even OP. Making a thread 3 times over the span of a few months isn't insane. That's pretty normal. Being on Cinemaphile 24/7 to know every single thread that's been made is insane.
>Shitting yourself 3 times over the span of a few months isn't insane. That's pretty normal.
That's what you sound like.
>making a thread is "shitting yourself"
Did you even try with this post? If anything you shit yourself and cry every time you see this thread.
>Did you even try with this post?
More than you do when you make the same thread lmao.
Damn that's sad then. If you actually tried with that insult then you just stop trying to insult people.
>still malding
>still obsessed with trannies
I'm sorry, but I'm not interested in being a woman, anon. You have to go outside and talk to a real one yourself.
>being this mad that no one's excited for phase 4 MCU
Oh no, Doctor Strange 2 only made $930 million instead of $940 million. How sad.
Culture is shifting. Top Gun Maverick beat out the MCU this year. Fatigue is here. No one said it would be instant, but it's happening.
Dude Thor and BP are still to come one is possibly getting a billion
Don't you gays get tired of failing to predict MCU fatigue? You homosexuals have been doing it since 2012.
Do you really think the MCU will be the first fad ever to not die? How delusional are you? It's already starting with MCU shows and Top Gun topping the box office instead of MCUshit.
>Doctor Strange: $930 million
>Top Gun: $760 million
You're boring. I pity your family.
Not him but you're moronic. Top Gun is higher domestically and is already outpacing it globally. It'll probably hit $1bn by mid summer.
And Doctor Strange will still make 4 times its budget, kid. I'm sorry for what happened to your mom.
yeah but this time we're right
>DS2 was never meant to hit $1bn, okay????
>Thor 4 wasn't supposed to hit $750m, okay???
>posts a movie that only made $360 million
Are you moronic?
MCUgays are the only people insecure about box office numbers.
>lying to himself
>while there's a Top Gun gay right above him
So pathetic.
Well yeah he was correcting an insecure MCUgay, dumbass
>a schizo who makes the same thread for a year and a half calling others insecure
So embarrassing.
I love how you keep leaving out the fact that OP has only made this thread 3 times this year, because then it would be obvious you're an insecure mouse boy.
>only made this thread 3 times
3 times in 6 months is still pretty schizo lol. Go get your brain checked.
>3 mediocre MCU shows in 6 months
😀
>3 threads criticizing the MCU in 6 months
D:
Archive trannies BTFO.
Did your brain break? Why did you make the same post twice in the same thread?
It still applies. Why change it?
>still repeating himself
How does your family deal with taking care of a dementia victim such as yourself?
I repeated it because it still applies, and it's still funny.
>OP laughs at his own jokes
The symptoms are increasing
I mean I did say hype would die after Endgame, and that appears to be the case. People seem to only care about Spiderman anymore, and I don't blame them he's the last interesting character.
MCU fatigue is here. People used to watch every new MCU project. Now they selectively watch them.
Same thing is happening with Star Wars. No one fricking cares about Bad Batch. Disney is cheapening their properties by turning them into content factories.
>MCU fatigue is here.
citation needed
Someone has a good image of the public interest in marvel TV shows plummeting with every new show but I don't have it.
Anecdotally though, yeah my friend group only cares about the movies and even then we still haven't watched Eternals or Shang-Chi. I used to watch every new movie that came out at the midnight showing.
>I have proof but I don't have it!
That's what I thought. Another thread filled with failures.
Hardly the same. Star Wars didn't have a real plan and it blew up after TLJ
? What? Since when was Doom cast anywhere?
He's not cast, but you're kidding yourself if you think he's not going be an AmeriBlack person.
They also need a new hero to build around like Iron Man and Captain America.
it's a troll, guys
Yeah, the troll should stop making these threads.
Ladderbro isn't a troll. He's genuinely a Disney shill, for free though.
who the hell is ladderbro and why don't i care
i can answer the second question: it doesn't matter what he is, you are still moronic for giving him attention
But what can I expect from a schizo who makes the same thread 3 times? lmfao.
Hollywood will finally be forced to return to mid budget movies instead of relying on milking capeshitgays for money.
>turn theaters into an endless deluge of capeshit for the past 15 years
>what killed the hype?
The world may never know.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:1950s_Western_(genre)_television_series
The overflow of mediocrity.
Considering you let the MCU live in your head rent-free, nothing.
I made this thread because I noticed no one, even on Cinemaphile, cares about that Ms Marvel show lmfao.
It's pretty crazy considering we used to have multiple threads every day during the Wandavision and Loki shows, but even moon knight struggled to have a single discussion thread during episode release days.
>thread literally right here
>over a day old
>not even hitting the bump limit
kek
>No, that doesn't count!
Moving goalposts is embarrassing, anon.
But I already pointed out how hype for the shows even on Cinemaphile is dead now
Show proof.
Not him but I know what he's talking about. Wandavision and Loki had threads all over Cinemaphile and Cinemaphile every single day but now MCU shows are barely discussed at all. You can see the fatigue here at least.
>posted almost 36 hours ago
Do you not remember during Loki when we were having multiple threads a day? That was before the fatigue set in.
>OP defending his own samegayging
Oh sweet, a schizo thread.
>talking to yourself
Actual schizophrenia.
Did OP get btfo by a Marvelchad as a teen and he never got over it? Seems that way.
This thread has 60 posters and most people agree the MCU sucks now.
>most people
OP, you're a person, not people. I know you're schizo, but your personalities are still one man.
>everyone is OP!!! There can't be multiple people here!!!! It's all OP hahahaha! *eye twitches*
You are mentally ill, MCU-kun.
>anon makes the same thread multiple times calling others mentally ill
So much projection.
There are too many fricking movies, I can't watch all this shit.

no, not you. the archive dipshit. he's just fricking with you guys.
No, I know it's you, MCU-kun. I will hate the MCU until my dying breath. I wipe all my semen on MCU posters at the cinema to show my hatred. I feel no guilt. I am the angel of vengeance. You cannot stop me.

I used to hate this copypasta but as I've gotten older I see what they mean. I'm 28 now and the idea of seeing Thor 4 in theaters makes me hate myself. I don't know any other well adjusted adults my age that get excited for this shit anymore.
Congrats, you might actually not be a manchild anymore. Go watch some classic kino and read non-cape comics now. Break free from this consoomer crap.
Based archivebro, outing schizos on Cinemaphile.

Shut up, you MCU cultist. Why are you so mad I made 3 threads? Frick you!
I wish ladderbro would just trip up already so I can know to ignore him on sight.
Who is ladderbro? Is that one of OP's imaginary friends?
You could've posted literally anything else that doesn't scream "I am ladderbro" yet you decided to post this instead.
You still have to eat the BluRay, ladderbro. And when Joker 2 hits 1bn too, you'll have another one to eat.
>You still have to eat the BluRay, ladderbro.
OP, what are you talking about?
You said you would eat a joker bluray if it hit $1bn in the box office and it did.
Where did I say this? OP, get help.
Don't fricking lie to me, Ladderbro. I used 70 different IPs in this very thread just to make sure you eat a joker bluray. Do it!
Endgame
Is OP okay?
Laddersis, I think OP has been gone. You're just talking to yourself now.
It's fricking boring. Even Doctor Strange 2 was only good for the slasher scene.
Other than No Way Home, that it wasn't that good, Phase 4 has been a piece of shit, that's what killed the hype.
>tv shows no one cares about
>movies are becoming mid
>no clear end goal
It's basically the DCEU.
>no clear end goal
It's even worse than that. Their end goal is Secret Wars aka peak multiverse cancer.
I was worried for a second there that they wouldn't be able to buy their 8th yacht.
it is basically Nostalgia bait shit, i suppose that, if they can, they'll get Halle Berry, Gruffudd, Wesley Snipes and Nicolas Cage and they'll kill them in 10 minutes.
>o clear end goal
the goal now is Secret Wars 2015, nobody gives a frick because they haven't introduced the FF, Galactus and Dr Doom.
>Grounded, solo stories
Eat shit, Bendis
>bloated, clusterfrick stories with no emotional weight
Eat shit, Feige
This. Same reason the Flash movie will suck. I fricking hate this cancerous multiverse shit being imported into DC movies with Micheal Keaton coming back as Batman. The same morons who love that probably hated The Batman movie because it was more grounded and just wanted to tell a Batman story.
The Batman was boring shit for A24 gays.
Cheers.
If The Batman is A24 to you then you truly are a fricking MCUgay who only watches MCU goyslop, holy shit.
It's still capeshit but without the cancerous modern capeshit qualities like multiverses and time travel.
>goyslop
Okay, racist groomer.
>Multiverse shit is not entertaining.
Correct
>Grounded, solo stories that explore the character itself will always be superior to multiverse shit.
Instead they leaned into "muh babies", made the plot simplistic to accomodate the cameos, and made a new character the centre of the story.
i'm still mad that they botched their one chance for a Sinister Six movie
For me, Disney+. It's a bad streaming service to begin with but the idea that I need to watch everything to keep up? Cool concept but I just don't give a shit after they beat Thanos and the shows are just bad.
It's gonna be funny when Thor 4 has over a $200 million opening domestic weekend and people will say the MCU is better then ever. I remember people calling the MCU over after Thor 2. And then the next movie out Captain America 2 made people more excited in this shit then ever lol. It's a wave. People like comedy Marvel. Not weird Marvel like DS2. Simple as
You know what's funny about this image? I'd happily rewatch Allita any day of the week. I'd never watch Captain Marvel again
MCUgays truly only care about money, because it's all the MCU is good for.
>I'd happily rewatch Allita any day of the week.
Gross.
Motorball sucks
Better than Captain Marvel.
the movie could be great, they could do just a Pinocchio alike movie and not go full moron.
>hates the MCU
>turns schizo for the whole thread
many such cases
>Holland
>face of the MCU
Cyclops might become a big character as well
>F4
>all white
Are you insane? In 2022? 2 will be white maximum, probably Mr. Fantastic and Ben. Johnny and Sue will definitely be brown twins siblings.
>strange
>thor
>sticking out a bit longer
Do MCUgays not have any concept of the flow of time? Those dudes are like 50 now. Cumberbatch is probably done after DS3 and I wouldn't be surprised if Thor 4 is a surprise finale for Hemsworth.
This is what your Iron Man would look like today if he stayed in.
MCU manchildren don't see actors that age and have lives outside of capeshit, they just see capeshit characters that are immune from time like in comics.
Thor will be BetaRayBill'd, Ruffalo will be full CGI too, Strange could last longer,
> what about Cyclops?
Well they could do something with Mr Sinister or maybe Corsair, i think the X-Men will be Storm and Wolverine basically, it could be great if they cast likeable people, i want Radcliffe and KiKi Layne.
I'm pretty sure Beta Ray Bill is at least another decade out. You're gonna have to wait a long time to see some of the actually cool parts of Marvel Cosmic rather than just getting "OOGA CHAKA" for the third fricking movie in a row
>laddersis on suicide watch
too many shit that even the normie audience can't keep up with it
If they waited 5 years and put out one 3 hour movie, everybody'd see it
Everyone is saying oversaturation and how it became woke but the real issue is just bad writing.
I told everyone to stop the hype
based hype killer
We're in the intermission until X-Men.
X-Men ended with flop movies nobody wanted to see, a reboot of it in the MCU isn't going to get normies as hyped as you think it will.
Magneto in the first movie is one of the biggest possible mistakes they could make, if they want a bigger audience than the Fox X-Men movies got, they need to do something new and different, not repeat the exact same things Fox already did, and Fox really overused Magneto.
origin stories, quips, and cliffhanger endings
We just need a real banger of a movie to get people interested in the future of where everything is going. I don't think the skrull stuff will be enough and I'm not sure where they're going to go with the multi-dimension stuff at this point.
I think they need a new character to become the face of the MCU as well.
That would probably help, yeah. I think they were hoping it would be Black Panther but obviously that didn't work out and Strange just never felt right as a leading man and wasn't different enough from Tony.
Maybe Reed will pull it off
I think it has to be Reed Richards
People are actually getting sick of capeshit movies. Marvel ran comics into the ground in the 90s by oversaturating it with "hype!" bullshit. Now they're doing it again and the entire industry will die this time for good.
There are still music and videogame industries to be destroyed by Marvel
Just no big thing to build up to.
It still isn't killed for me.
Refusal to recast. As such dried the well too quickly and leaves having to attempt pumping up Z listers.
Also attempting to setup IW v2 without patience.
>Seven shows in ONE (1) year
Talk about over saturation
A lot of these look really young. Is Kevin Feige sure they have read any of the comics their movies are supposed to be based on?
Avengers climaxed at Endgame
Absolute content overload with none of it being good, interesting or unique.
