Weird coincidence, I literally just finished watching this movie and was about to make a thread about it. I never understood why it gets so much shit for having gross-out humor. It's about the fricking body. The body is gross. People's actual problem with it is it's one of the few pieces of media with the lesson to treat your body with respect, not consoom and to self-improve, instead of hurrr durrr just be yourself bro. That upsets a lot of people so they cope about "unintelligent humor" (which for some reason was perfectly acceptable in Shrek)
>What kind of city do you think your body is?
This
The format of the movie is distracting. Maybe the live action parts could have been shot or written better, but it was kind of doomed to only be 50% good because the animation is the best part.
It disturbs me that grown adults complain about the live-action in Osmosis Jones because it was "boring" compared to the funny whacky vibrant cartoons. How fricked are people's attention spans? Plus, the inside of the body being hectic while the people on the outside are going about their dull, mundane lives blissfully unaware is how it is in real life. The whiplash is intentional. I would love to hear a criticism of the movie that isn't either "the gross-out was bad" or "the live-action was bad"
Maybe not immaculate but considerably improved.
I lost 70lbs last year as well as started eating healthier and doing light exercise. I'm probably the healthiest I've ever been.
I'm kind of glad Osmosis Jones hasn't received a modern revival because they would totally use that pun in some form. Maybe with the skin cells.

It's fascist copaganda
Aside from being boring, the live action parts were low quality, WB was capable of doing much better.
>half the movie is supposed to be boring and not funny that's the entire point
NY after Rudy Giuliani took over.
So immaculate?

Aw that is cute. You think it's a city and not a primordial jungle of pain
Even more of a shithole than Frank was. Most of the cells are NEETs so there's barely anyone left to perform vital functions
i guess that makes them in-cells
CARLOS YOU homosexual

Why did film turn out so dull? It should've been a lot of fun.
Producers figured Bill Murray would be enough to sell tickets and didn't care about how well the comedy worked.
It's always the same fricking case. Good idea, bad execution. What I wonder is what could've been of osmosis jones if it didn't flop so hard.

Philly
Detroit as depicted in Robocop (1987)
like Gotham after a sewage flood
This film is definitely less than the sum of its parts. Easy to see why it flopped.
Why did they get Ron Howard just for this one scene?

It's sad to know that Warner Bros Feature Animation went directly from The Iron Giant to this.

Did Kidney Rock die in The Zit explosion?
We act like Inside Out didn't take a lot from Osmosis, but Inside Out took a lot from Osmosis Jones
Fallout 4.
>AIDS would effectively "defund the police"
I get your joke, but a serial cop killer that hides using their victims would be a serious take on it.
As a comedy film, this is boring. Very little material here that raises a laugh, chuckle or giggle.
The TV show's theme had no right being that catchy.
The lungs district still has hundreds of "NOW HIRING" signs even after 18 years.
There are 2 white castle burgers in the stomach district.
I imagine mental illness translates to political corruption, so my body's the CCP.
