    it was pretty jarring and different from the original movie which had a semi-happy ending when the humans were alerted to the alien pods. Still I prefer the orginal movie which is really a classic of 50s paranoia.

      the original movie originally ended with main guy screaming about alien invasion and everbody ignoring him, but the studio didn't liked it and forced siegel to make a framing story in which the feds are altered about the threat
      both movies are great though
