both series has less viewership than mid-tier twitch streamers, the bulk of TTS and donos were done by themselves to drum up support, and half the cast were friends of theirs, buy a fricking ad homosexual.
It was the testing grounds and had an excuse for being a bit rough. By season 2 they shouldve had things more hammered out and developed. But it just felt so amateur and terribly planned. It felt like a high school field trip at times, if that makes any sense. I will say that season 2 up until the plant reveal was good and had potential. I wish JC in particular stuck around longer. The idea of an out of touch genuine contestant was interesting.

Mistakes are paid with money. Sam and his crew ran a shitshow and now they are hiding their heads in the ground because FT probably didn't break even and they stayed afloat with the investors' scam.
Compared to S1 it was a flop both in viewers and financials.

Sharks in S1 would show up and do slightly annoying things to drive content. Production in S2 felt more antagonistic and got too involved in shit. Sam Ben and Josie cut Trish's hair. Ben boxed the contestants. The entire production team would just hang out upstairs for hours with the fish to the point where they refused to do anything (TJ barely even left a room at one point) without production explicitly telling them to.
1. Lol what? 80 percent of the cast sucked ass and were boring to watch. Only entertaining ones were Jon and Letty.

4. Except the house wasn't really that much smaller than S2's and a majority of the show was them lazing around on the couch or in the kitchen barely talking to each other. They were actually LESS sociable than the cast in S2.
5. This one I'll agree with. The Judge as a character had potential to be this sinister Jekyl and Hyde character who flipped from goofy to menacing, but Sam got tired of it not even a week in and just went through the motions. Jason Goldstriker was more entertaining.
6. All the sharks did was dump soda on the contestants and trash everywhere. They were pretty boring to watch, other than when they were getting fricked with, like Jon chasing them or Jet falling on his fat ass. Also, the side characters weren't all that great. Entity was a letdown in particular and Caminos just ate up screentime with boring "gaslighting".
7. What the frick are you smoking? The challenges in S1 were fricking garbage. Nobody wanted to watch them read SAT books hours on end and then end up taking a rigged test that meant nothing while TTS drowned out the whole bit.
8. I'm not going to defend S2's challenges, but they weren't all that different from the uninspired garbage of S1's.

They were both poorly ran shitshows that had moments of unintentional comedy and were fun to shitpost about with Cinemaphile bros. Anyone trying to frame this slop with any kind of artistic sentiment is moronic.
s1 could view entire downstairs except front door from either kitchen cam or living room cam, s2 needed to switch 2-3 cams to do same. s1 tts alerts and sfx were not as loud, it was easier to hear conversations s2 they made tts and shit too loud
to many problems to overlook. with season 2 there were brief moments of the show going smoothly, then something bad would happen and then there would be nontent for a straight week.
for as flawed as season 1 was it was more consistent and the conclusion was great and gave real closure.

It was the testing grounds and had an excuse for being a bit rough. By season 2 they shouldve had things more hammered out and developed. But it just felt so amateur and terribly planned. It felt like a high school field trip at times, if that makes any sense. I will say that season 2 up until the plant reveal was good and had potential. I wish JC in particular stuck around longer. The idea of an out of touch genuine contestant was interesting.

the fishtank concept is relatively unique but it can only really work once. a sequel will simply be a pale rehash. previously the contestants knew who sam/mde were and that was it, they didn't know what they were in for so it was genuinely interesting, even if for some morbid curiosity. that does not exist a second time around because we the viewers know what is going on and subsequently so do the contestants so what are you watching for? the "brains" behind the show only have the creativity to do the same thing as before but make it worse.

5. This one I'll agree with. The Judge as a character had potential to be this sinister Jekyl and Hyde character who flipped from goofy to menacing, but Sam got tired of it not even a week in and just went through the motions. Jason Goldstriker was more entertaining.
6. All the sharks did was dump soda on the contestants and trash everywhere. They were pretty boring to watch, other than when they were getting fricked with, like Jon chasing them or Jet falling on his fat ass. Also, the side characters weren't all that great. Entity was a letdown in particular and Caminos just ate up screentime with boring "gaslighting".
7. What the frick are you smoking? The challenges in S1 were fricking garbage. Nobody wanted to watch them read SAT books hours on end and then end up taking a rigged test that meant nothing while TTS drowned out the whole bit.
