End of Evangelion. Expansion of blockade and Passage of emptiness are the ones i keep comming back to, but the whole soundtrack is great, and each track fits the film perfectly. It's one of those soundtracks where listening instantly puts you back in the scenes they're from.
Jin Roh gets mentioned in a lot for its animation but it's soundtrack is also amazing
for original score, lord of the rings by far. that trilogy has some of the most memorable recognizable themes ever.
If we had to decide "the best ever" as in every single song is a masterpiece, it has to be The Lord of the Rings. The leitmotifs, the elvish/dwarvish/black speech choirs, each culture represented with their own special instruments.

I think Sicario deserves a mention too
The Beast is a good song
Top Gun(1986)
That's the most 80s soundtrack ever.
That's a good choice. But personally I think Batman Returns had a better soundtrack. Penguin and Catwoman's leitmotifs were great. But even that is not as good as Elfman's Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack.
1492 - Conquest of Paradise
Maybe not the greatest soundtrack EVARR, but it's so good you can fully enjoy it without ever watching the movie.
the theme to that movie is great. Did you see the film? Was it any good?
