>24/7 for 150 days
Or 12h for 326 days
Or 6h for 650 days
Or 3h for 3.5 years
You can calculate how much he listens a day by the difference of 12-3-12 to 10-5-14, where 30k became 64.7k. Over 660 days, he played the song 34,694 times. That's an average of playing the song for 3.17 hour a day.
now that i think about it, simpsons, because i live in a shitty 3rd world country, some years ago i only had tv to watch, so i used to have nothing decent to watch other than simpsons (and they did not have money to license newer seasons or some shit so they had to show episodes several times, so i would watch certain episodes 3 to 10 times) it was that or shitty dramas, pretty good ngl
>you’re 16 and went to see transformers on a double date with your HS gf, best friend, and his gf. >the nerd gets the girl and saves the world >Optimus prime broadcasts a monologue of hope and determination to the galaxy as the horse riff hits >whaaaaat iiiiiive dooooone
Perfection
>then you wake up >you’re in your 30s >the world around you is negativity and anger >relationships have dried up >you don’t even interact with women your own age, let alone date >Chester killed himself >Optimus lied
I’ve been trying to be positive lately, but fricking hell does everything suck now.

I’d guess it’s rather just a confluence of strange cultural shifts. The human psyche was not ready for the addictive nature of the internet and mass media constantly tailored to any desire you might have.
>Come home from work as the semi-single breadwinner of the household >Weekend is packed with shit to do and I'm tired as frick >Finally have a new OLED TV and soundbar to unwind with whenever I have free time earlier this year >Both recently paid off in full >Not even 15 minutes being home, here a loud "clank" >"Daaaad, Anon JR just threw a rock at the tv."
I'm a step away from murdering my family. In Minecraft, of course.
>So yeah if you see those children or that wife, just like, give me a call, haha >Hey I have a refurbished OLED TV in my living room, you guys wanna catch the game?
I don't rewatch stuff. If I wanna relive it I look up an explained video on youtube that shows the important clips while giving a rundown of the plot in ten minutes.
Tv series probably mad men, I rewatch it almost annually. But I did rewatch seasons of GoT quite a lot while waiting for new seasons
Movie not too sure, matrix Conan empire strikes back, The Thing, Jurassic park, in Bruges are all up there though. I don’t consider ESB my favourite movie but I’d reckon it’s the one I’ve watched the most I nerded the shit out of Star Wars from age 8-13 and watched it many times a year
Terminator 1, at least 50 times. I consider it the perfect movie with perfect pacing, action and story. When I was a kid I used to watch Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon every week, the VHS was pretty roughed up.
Yes. Imagine how amazing it would look as a practical with a little bit of deep fake CGI here and there. That last sequence with T-800 after the flesh is burned looks incredible after some AI smoothing the stop motion because it's a real thing in the world and not just some silicon-stored element.
I like leaving John Carpenter's The Thing, or Day of the Dead on, to play as background noise while I draw. I can pretty much quote both movies word for word now

The Terminator
I can't discuss this in public because people either make fun of me and say something like "wow you must not have seen a lot of movies to like that one so much..." or say T2 is better (it's not)
Probably went through all of Futurama hundreds of times. Would just set it to loop through a season or so when going to bed. Once it got stale, I'd start the loop 1 episode later.
Pulp Fiction, 47 times on VHS. Never watched it again since. I also used to put on an obscure artsy flick called Begotten because I liked to fall asleep to it for about a year. I've definitely seen God Disembowling Himself more than 300 times but hardly ever made it through the whole thing.
having on my second monitor, i played king of the hill, malcolm in the middle, venture brothers, and metalocalypse a whooole lot. years of this shit.
sit down and rewatch, sopranos
Batman forever. I watched it well over a hundred times as a child. I watched it so much to this day I can remember the ads from the beginning of the video tape >free willy 3 - the adventure home >the amazing panda adventure "its just like indiana jones" >BABY I COMPARE YOU TO A KISS FROM THE ROSE ON THE GRAVE "ONLY ONE SOUNDTRACK OS FOREVER - BATMAN FOREVER"
I watched A Goofy Movie like 20 times cuz my grandma taped it. the river scene made me tear up every time because I had a bad relationship with my dad.
The Terminator

why would he even bother with itunes? a single mp3 file would work

predator and american ninja 2
Wasnt there a follow up post to this where's its still the only song and he's listened to it more?
Revenge of the Sith, I guess.
Yeah, he listened to it 30 times more while the thread was up.
🙂
Based. I used to listen to the same 5-6 linkin park songs on repeat while I played halo 3. Nothing else, just those couple songs
for me its
This is the equivalent of listening to it 24/7 for 150 days. I can bullshit.
>24/7 for 150 days

I think you can assume it plays 24/7 whether he’s at the pc it not. If it’s genuine I doubt he’s manually hitting play every time. But then…
>I doubt he’s manually hitting play every time
Anon, you do know what "loop" is in a music player, right?
>I don't like other songs
King of Kings.
childhood ends twice, once when you turn 18 and again when you finally realize Cinemaphile's "epic" archive of legendary threads is 99% samegays
Proof. I don't want to believe it post proof.
>samegays
moron.
So easily faked it's not even funny
Lord of the Rings easily over 20 times
Same. For a show, The Sopranos.
Snatch (2000). First time i saw it i re watched it the same day. Probably watched it about 20 times now.
I rewatch all House seasons every year since it ended.
fight club

unironically better taste than 99% of Cinemaphile
Points of Authority brutally mogs In The End.

peep show
The Matrix
Equilibrium
LOTR trilogy
The Fast & The Furious
i have watched all of star trek at least 5 or 6 times now
Every time I try to rewatch trek I skip more episodes and now I'm down to like 20 that aren't unwatchably bad
>Come home from work as the semi-single breadwinner of the household

>>"Daaaad, Anon JR just threw a rock at the tv.
wtf. Why would he do that?
Maybe you should spend more time with your kids instead of watching or complaining about not being able to watch tv.
Throw a rock at your son to teach him the law of equivalent exchange.
>So yeah if you see those children or that wife, just like, give me a call, haha
>Hey I have a refurbished OLED TV in my living room, you guys wanna catch the game?
Big Lebowski
I don't rewatch stuff. If I wanna relive it I look up an explained video on youtube that shows the important clips while giving a rundown of the plot in ten minutes.
When I was a teenager I used to get tired of songs, but after age 20 or so that doesn't happen anymore.
they keep track of how many times you listen to a song?
We keep track of everything.
o.O
For most of us the actual answer is either Christmas Story or Christmas Vacation, although I think City Slickers is up there for me as well
We watch it on repeat every Christmas.
Why
Boyz N Da Hood
>comfy 'warm dry' static setting contrasting starkly to my own wet and cold
must have rewatched this scene more times than my VCR knew what to do with it
The Vision of Escaflowne
Stargate, Scrubs I think I've seen every episode 3 times at least.
for me, it's The Shield
every so often I wonder if he's still listening to it.
for me it's Austin Powers movies, about 6 times each.
I have American Psycho playing on loop on my tv 24/7
Tv series probably mad men, I rewatch it almost annually. But I did rewatch seasons of GoT quite a lot while waiting for new seasons

Home alone might be up there since that’s my families go to Christmas movie. I do watch nightmare before Christmas annually too though.
Fellowship probably nr1 spot though. Think I must’ve watched it at least 50 times.
Napoleon Dynamite
Bad Santa
Dumb & Dumber
They always cheer me up.
Terminator 1, at least 50 times. I consider it the perfect movie with perfect pacing, action and story. When I was a kid I used to watch Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon every week, the VHS was pretty roughed up.
>your perfect movie, sir

probably it's always sunny in philadelphia. they're great for me to fall asleep to.
I like leaving John Carpenter's The Thing, or Day of the Dead on, to play as background noise while I draw. I can pretty much quote both movies word for word now
Are you me?
Fight Club, about 7 times
Probably went through all of Futurama hundreds of times. Would just set it to loop through a season or so when going to bed. Once it got stale, I'd start the loop 1 episode later.
My mother watches this movie almost every night. I don't know how many times I've seen it, but it's dozens and dozens of times by now.
Your mother schlicks to James Garner
At least it's not Jack Elam.
Shawshank Redemption.
It was on AMC almost constantly as recent as 5 years ago.
Pulp Fiction, 47 times on VHS. Never watched it again since. I also used to put on an obscure artsy flick called Begotten because I liked to fall asleep to it for about a year. I've definitely seen God Disembowling Himself more than 300 times but hardly ever made it through the whole thing.
simpsons seasons 3-8. frick knows how many times.
The Mask w/ Jim Carrey. Can quote it line for line.
for tv probably stargate
for movies maybe starship troopers or lotr
I paid to watch La La Land on 7 different occasions while it was playing in theaters
having on my second monitor, i played king of the hill, malcolm in the middle, venture brothers, and metalocalypse a whooole lot. years of this shit.
sit down and rewatch, sopranos
oh and for movies it's either Surf Ninjas or A Goofy Movie or 3 Ninjas Kick Back. obsessed with those as a kid.
Batman forever. I watched it well over a hundred times as a child. I watched it so much to this day I can remember the ads from the beginning of the video tape
