Last Jedi for me. I could tolerate the prequels and Force Awakens. Last Jedi made none of it matter, so I stopped caring. What a truly cynical and utter waste of a film.
This. TFA was a disappointment, but there were still two movies and different directors that could still pull off something awesome. 2/3 movies could have been good. Surely Disney would have planned out the trilogy beforehand?? I went with a couple friends, all of us long fans of star wars. It all died that day. None of us bothered with the third.
No way, TFA starts with 5 planets exploding. It was obviously gonna be shit. Star Wars is all in side content and it's been that way for decades. There are 9 "Episodes" and only maybe 2 are legitimately great.

Not anywhere NEAR what it was. Before, each movie was a huge event. Now it'd just be yet another disney slop that makes a disappointing box office
Depends on what they made. I'm not saying they're even capable but star wars is stupid as frick, eventually you just accept it or you only pay attention to the occasional thing that does peak your interest. The best idea to handle the franchise as a money maker is cast a wide ass net that is all encapsulating. Games, books, weird spinoff shit no normie would ever look at, comics, anime, movies, cartoons, everything. When people talk about the EU fondly they're talking about the 3% or so they themselves participated in. I'd honestly go so far as to just ignore all concepts of a cohesive canon if I were Disney and just do whatever. That is in effect what the EU even was anyways, wasn't it 6 levels of dubious "canon"? Or was it 7?
I think the suits at the mouse are conflicted over what they intend to do, since the sequels they've stuck almost entirely to setting shit prior to them no doubt with the contingency to ditch the sequel plots entirely (though I believe they are planning a film post sequels as of last year, the debacles at max show how little that means). but doing so also creates its own quandary since carrie fisher is dead so they either have to kill her off offscreen or timeskip
Just timeskip. They cannot and frankly should not rely on legacy characters anymore. What's done is done and Ford is in his 80s now and Hamil is in his 70s. They had their shot at that but it's also clear they DO understand how badly it fricked them up because all the talk about the ST characters? Nonexistent.

The rest of Star Wars was like a playground for ideas and Disney ruined that.
>The clones in the clones wars that ANH referenced was just an army of clone stormtroopers
I can't think of a bigger blue baller reveal.
I think everyone imagined it was a war about something like illegal cloning technology getting out of hand and you'd have cloned jedi and they wouldn't know who was real and who was an infiltrator.
It made me sad. The only one that calls it the clone wars is Yoda at the end of II and it still doesn't make sense. They call the original trilogy the Galactic Civil War, but it was more of an insurrection. The prequels actually has entire systems seceding and joining sides.
Clone Wars was better than Samurai Jack and Primal and while waiting for RotS it was kino getting little snippets of the Clone Wars without saving baby Jabba the Hutt or annoying orange jailbait girl
>better than Samurai Jack and Primal
lolno. Both those shows dropped off at the end. Clone Bores was a fricking trainwreck right from the start. And the actual Tartakovski ones were a small run of shorts separate to the actual main show, so stop being a disingenuous c**t you slop gargling homosexual, like holy shit.
Ahsoka was always gonna be Anakin’s apprentice as far back as 05, the year RotS came out and when CW03 ended its run. Genndy was also still heading TCW at the time.
Genndy was set to run TCW but didn’t want to make it a show. He wanted a series of films, likely because the CG tech was significantly better in film. Lucas didn’t want to make anymore movies so the whole thing went nowhere and Filoni took over. Genndy’s TCW would’ve taken place between Chapters 21 and 22 of CW03 and in the last year of the war, which is why Anakin’s design looks closer to his RotS design.
This shit was pretty fricking stupid and self indulgent looking back on it. But I don't honestly think star wars can truly die because everyone sort of learned to ignore most of it decades ago. Even right now they could feasibly make another movie and people would at least look into it.
Depends on what they made. No, you're stupid as frick. Star Wars was an event. Besides destroying the characters and lore and story didney destroyed the novelty by pumping out so much garbage so quickly. There should have been a minimum 2 years between every star wars cinema release.
I honestly don't know how the stockholders haven't dragged Iger through the streets and set him on fire. Disney originally planned to release a new Star Wars movie every year. I agree that was dumb, but because they screwed up the sequels so badly, they are going to go at least seven years in-between movies. That alone should have gotten Iger and Kennedy canned.

As far as I'm concerned there was no coming back after tfa. I'll never give a fucl about anything nu wars after that. I don't think there will be another cinema release for a long, long time, if ever. I don't think that rey movie will ever eventuate and if it does I think it will go straight to disney+
This.
No one is going to be camping outside a theater for a couple of days to buy Star Wars tickets anymore.
It really is amazing what Disney did to Star Wars. Making people either indifferent to it or actually hating Star Wars should've been like making people hate sex and pizza. Impossible, but they did it.
Return of the Jedi was a huge dissapointment as a kid compared to Empire Strikes Back then Phantom Menace completely killed the movies for me. I did like that era of games but the best ones were only tangentially related to the movies.
I didn't give a flying frick about Star Wars until I played KOTOR. Still a fricking banger of a video game, and easily one of the most memorable western RPGs despite its technical flaws.
It was George just not listening to all of his director friends and letting someone else direct his fricking movies. But his ego got in the way and he was mad at Titanic so he had to write scripts for prequel movies he didn't exactly want to make
You know he asked every director friend he knew, right? He asked Spielberg to direct Phantom Menace and he correctly said no, he asked Coppola, he also smartly said no. He asked everyone before he decided to do it himself. He says exactly that in the Phantom Menace behind the scenes doc.
Nothing "ruined" Star Wars for me, but I definitely don't expect anything produced after the Disney acquisition to be entertaining, let alone have any lasting presence. Things got bad as soon as they cancelled TCW and had to start up Rebels... I'm pretty sure that happened before TFA premiered.
TLJ started but RoS and Mando S2 completely burried it. I'm now completely apathetic to SW. Should have seen it coming since the first signs of the IP becoming iredeemable garbage started appearing with The Clone Wars baby cartoon Cinemaphile was shilling up till Ahsoka came out.
>The OT will always be there.
This guy gets it. I walked away with TLJ, TFA could have been redeemed with a stronger sequel but the loss of never getting Luke, Han & Leia together for even one scene is just inexcusable. But the pure unbridled hate towards the property and against the fand from TLJ & the people behind it, well frick you. I never liked the Prequels but they were earnest and didn't throw everything out the window like some round headed narcissist who filmed his first draft.. Trust was so badly ruined I refuse to watch anything DisneyWars no matter how hard they shill.
But the OT will always be with me. And that's all.
it ruined the previously established and more coherent canon of the conflict from clone wars multimedia project, that shit fit right into the movies and didn't feel out of place meanwhile with TCW I'm supposed to pretend while watching Revenge of The Sith that Anakin has this orange buttcheeks padawan in some pacifist mandalorian planet dueling a robotic darth maul. >BUT GEORGE LUCAS WAS INVOLVED IN MAKING OF TCW
the fact is that George Lucas didn't give a frick about star wars after ROTS was done, the guy suggested that a video game protagonist should be named Darth Icky. He just let Filoni do his thing making TCW sometimes even going against Lucas' wishes. But George didn't care
>George didn't give a frick!
Source? >When he works on the “Star Wars” properties he owns outright, Mr. Lucas has the freedom to ignore the input of others. In the case of “The Clone Wars” he is financing the series himself and charging Time Warner licensing fees to distribute the film and broadcast the show. (A person with knowledge of the company’s animation operations, speaking anonymously to avoid offending Mr. Lucas, said that the earliest episodes of “The Clone Wars” probably cost $750,000 to $1.5 million each.) Furthermore, there would be no cherry-picking the series; a network had to take all twenty-two episodes or lose out altogether. “It’s much easier for me to just do the show I want, [then] say, ‘Here it is, do you wish to license it or not?’” Lucas said with only a hint of exasperation. “That’s it. There’s no notes, no comments. I don’t care what your opinion is. You either put it on the air or you don’t.”
If he didn't care, why didn't he just outsource it to some third-party studio, like he did with Genndy's shit, which was just a toy ad fanfiction? Why did he build the Lucasfilm Animation studio from the ground up? Why did he bother creating stories, characters, editing scripts, editing episodes, reviewing each and every episode before they would go into post-production? That's some "not caring", for sure! Oh, and also, the work on the show began before ROTS was even out in theaters. George also was developing the Underworld show. So no, he was not done with Star Wars.
>TCW sometimes even going against Lucas' wishes
Source?
>it ruined the previously established and more coherent canon of the conflict from clone wars multimedia project
Sorry, it was never canon. It was just some moronic, disjointed fanfiction.
>the guy suggested that a video game protagonist should be named Darth Icky.
Yeah, because videogames were just that... videogames. Not part of Lucas' Star Wars world.
Buy an ad, homosexual. Make your own arguments, instead of linking some gay ass essays.
But anyway, this autismo also makes basically the same "arguments" as the previous moron: "George didn't care!!1" Source? Dude, trust me. He is just another butthurt EUtroon, who blatantly ignores facts and bends reality in his sick little head.
Leia being the Chosen One for his ST was also a joke. Fans need to stop taking everything that Lucas says at face-value. The man is capable of sarcasm.
The reaction Lucasfilm had to the fans after TLJ. Given time, I might have been able to forgive them for that ridiculous turd, but having them all but call me a nazi because they couldn't handle the criticism was stupid.
I don't even give a shit anymore beyond laughing at its failure.
I'm not very interested in the current era they are doing. Some of the newer clone war stuff is good but when it comes to movies and other streaming shows I am completely checked out. Mando was good for a season until disney decided to tie in everything else into it
When they blatantly bait and switched us with the Obi Wan show. I didn't see young Leia in any of the promo material and the show ended up being about her. They fricking knew nobody would watch this pile of garbage if they told the truth. Blatant dishonesty like that just made it clear they care more about pushing agendas THEY want rather than what the AUDIENCE wants. Didn't watch Andor, Ashoka, Bad Batch, or any of the other garbage they put out.
Frick me I wish Respawn was in charge of the franchise.
>When male nerds write your franchise, you get Luke Skywalker but boring
He's definitely not the worst but these games are always more nostalgic style over substance. At least he wasn't so shit in Jedi Survivor.
>Be Lucasfilm >Want to ruin yet another straight white male Star Wars character >Hollywood cabal prevents the casting of redheads in major projects >But you cant race swap him because his actor literally exists
Sam Maggs wrote a self insert lesbian OC who fricks Merrin throughout the novel and Cal is just like "huh I wonder where she went?"
its a confirmed self insert because the lesbian OC has a mullet, and when jedi survivor came out and paired cal with merrin, Sam Maggs changed her haircut to a mullet and said "look im mullet cal!" (i.e wanting to self insert as cal because hes kissing merrin)
Didn't read the novel and it seems like most people didn't. Sounds like Respawn didn't either since the events only have a passing mention in the second game and Merrin is straight again.
>It was a war across many worlds. So it was many wars, in a sense.
so why not galactic civil WARS then? sounds like a cope
>Were they, though? The only one who won was Palpatine.
in-universe yes, average galactic citizen didn't know that sheev was a sith lord who orchestrate the whole conflict
It sucked but it also had its moments and there were still good games, books, and comics coming out. When Disney took over and ended the EU it was over.
I don't remember the show itself getting any good games, comics or books. Most of the EU stuff fizzled out when the cartoon came out. Republic Commando for example came out during RotS's release. First season of TCW came out three years later
>It's a crime that LucasArts scrapped JK3, BF3 and KotOR 3.
JK3 and KotOR 3 were never in development to begin with. KotOR 3 never went beyond anything but a pitch meeting. JK3 was never even greenlit, because Jedi Academy sold poorly. BF3 had a messy production, the blame is partly on LucasArts, partly on Pandemic themselves, who concurrently developed their own game and half-assed the development of Battlefront 3. And also, say what you will about The Force Unleashed, but it is by far the biggest game LucasArts has ever made, and an achievement of its own. And also 1313 would have been better and bigger than all the previous Star Wars games combined. Take off your nostalgia goggles, homosexual.
>And also 1313 would have been better and bigger than all the previous Star Wars games combined.
There is nothing to suggest this. All we saw was a vague idea of gameplay demo specifically built for promoting the game, no gameplay outside that area was ever developed. People just like the idea that it could've been great because they're eulogizing its cancellation.

That we never got 1313 is the biggest disappointment of all. We could have had R-rated young Boba Fett kino.
It all went to shit when the crack bears showed up. So the half way point of the third movie, and the first I ever saw at the Kinoplex. Literally, as it was in Vienna at the time.
The Last Jedi. It wasn't just a bad movie but it destroyed Luke Skywalker as a character and the entire star wars setting with its hyperspeed ramming etc.
I know you are an idiot but it's not false. The entire hermit Luke shit was all specifically George. You can't just say things and hope nobody corrects you

>MUH HECKIN' GEORGE WOULD HAVE MADE THE SAME MOVIE 1:1 WITH A TITTY MILKING LUKE GETTING BTFO'D BY HIS YOUNG STUDENTS CONSTANTLY IGNORING HIS ROTJ CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
George and Disney can both frick themselves to be honest. The former for selling out to the people he called white slavers and the latter for being a soulless corporation
This has been a lie, it's always a lie. In the BTS they literally talk about the early concepts George gave Disney.

Do you have any source from George himself, i.e. his quotes and him personally saying all of this? Or is it just some homosexuals at Disney, who tried to damage control TLJ after it effectively killed the franchise and ruined the fanbase forever? Because we have Lucas actually saying what his ST would have been like, and he said it in 2019-2020. We also know from his words, that Disney rejected his ideas and story treatments altogether. More so, we have Iger personally saying that they rejected his ideas and that George felt betrayed and stabbed in the back. Who are you trying to bullshit here, you dumb homosexual? What's with Star Wars homosexuals and their compulsive need to lie at every single fricking turn?
What were George Lucas' ideas for the third trilogy? Did Ben Solo exist in George's drafts? It's pathetic how Disney drones try to do damage control here.
I'm not spoon-feeding some fricking zoomer, it both in the BTS for the film and when you go online and look up George's concepts for the new trilogy he pitched to Disney, most of which were unused. Everyone knows this. They didn't reject everything, they kept what they thought were the "good" ideas.
>zoomer prequelbaby doesn't know this very basic fact about TLJ
look man, I know you watched Revenge of the Sith as a child but he's mostly filled with bad ideas and the actual damage control is Disney pretending they didn't use any of his aspie ideas....because they thought it was genius only to realize George is a moron and they made a huge mistake.

No I didn't? I like most of it. I think some of the plot is bonkers but overall I enjoyed it. I'm just saying it was George who wanted "hermit Luke cut off from the force" because it's the final King Arthur arc when Arthur grows up and faces his demons and past decisions.

Too late mate.
You agreed it was shit, there is nothing you Can Do now.
I call bullshit. I’ve never seen George say he had wanted to tear Luke down in the way TLJ did.
He discussed wanting Luke to “pass the torch” like Obi-Wan, and that is decisively not what Luke does in TLJ.
He has always said the heroes of the OT were meant to live “happily ever after” and end up in a good place.
>Solo Twins were the leads. Their names being Skylar and Kira. >Maul would've been the big bad as the leader of a crime syndicate. So instead of Rebels fighting the Empire, it's the New Republic fighting the galaxy's underworld. >Darth Talon would've functioned as Maul's Vader equivalent. She would've literally seduced Skylar to the Dark Side.
I think people would actually be willing to forgive all the flaws of TLJ if Luke wasn't such a wimpy cuck who regressed to pre RotJ days suddenly for no good reason
Eh if anything it was a natural progression taking into account what the prequels turned the Jedi into. Unfortunately the vague idea of what they were going for wasn't what you should've done for the return of a character people have been wanting on screen since Return of the Jedi.
Then the Mandoverse further through away the whole idea to try and appease rightfully angry fans.
because TCW fans demand more stories with TCW characters, they keep on ending up in shows that they shouldnt really be in, same applies to rebels and its characters
you cant tell new stories with new characters because there must be an existing TCW or Rebels character there who will steal the spotlight (mostly ahsoka)
the exception is a show like the bad batch, as its basically just TCW season 7.5 (still surprised ahsoka hasnt shown up in it yet)
>Saves Star Wars >No one watched it because it was so shit >Left no footnote in anyone's SW discussion because it was so shit
I don't think you know what saving Star Wars means
>its bad because nobody watched it!
in that logic, ahsoka was good because people watched and talked about it, even though its a piece of shit
You seem to have trouble reading >The show was so bad, no one wanted to watch it
And they were right. Only manchildren like you could clap at this shit you post
>Saves Star Wars >No one watched it because it was so shit >Left no footnote in anyone's SW discussion because it was so shit
I don't think you know what saving Star Wars means
>Bad Batch S2 was clone kino
The two crosshair episodes were 10/10 but that's just two episodes. The remaining 80% of the season was standard Bad Batch, i.e. middling romps that are light on storytelling but at least they're well animated.
Bad Batch could have been good if it didn't keep contradicting itself and retcon a bunch of shit. Just because there were only 2 episodes it doesn't make it good.
The Force Awakens, and anyone who says The Last Jedi is a genuine moron. The writing was on the wall for two years. Anyone who walked out of the theater after TFA and thought it was in ANY way a decent film deserves all the slop they get.
This. I can't believe people to this day STILL believe that TFA was anything above watchable. TFA set the path for the rest of the trilogy to begin with and ruined the OT characters by making them failures on top of killing Han off for no reason.
The Force Awakens, and anyone who says The Last Jedi is a genuine moron. The writing was on the wall for two years. Anyone who walked out of the theater after TFA and thought it was in ANY way a decent film deserves all the slop they get.
I haven't seen TLJ to this day even though I'm a huge SW fan because TFA was so boring I didn't want to know anything about what comes next, nu canon is a disaster.
it's incredibly telling that they have done absolutely nothing related to post ST timeline in any capacity and have stayed with stuff that for the most part even is set prior to it.
you just know the mouse is keeping it ready to pull the plug if they feel like they need a reset
It is too late to reset. Mark is in his 70s and Ford is 80+ and doesn't give a shit. Even if they pulled the plug right now it'd be like 4 years minimum before they got a movie out.
you could easily timeskip after they're dead as the start of a new trilogy and honestly that would make more sense rather than the galaxy being a hot mess constantly
as the other anon said TFA wasn't good but you could at least have hope the trilogy could somehow get its shit together. TLJ is when it's clear there are no breaks on the shitshow train for the ST
I don't like a lot of Disney SW
TFA was ok, it could and should have been a lot better
TLJ is fricking trash.
Rouge One slaps
Solo is even more trash than TLJ
Visions slaps as well, even more so because it's animated.
Both versions of Clone Wars are good. I like them both
Currently my brain is just running through ideas on a rewrite of the sequel trilogy and so far I've made a mix of ROTJ and Jedi Academy
He did it because he couldn’t get his Underworld show made. No network would fund it and he was disbarred from building a studio on the land he bought. So he gave up and sold everything.
Most of TCW is background noise. Some people praise it because of survivorship bias, they don't remember all the slop they only remember the order 66 scenes and think that's the show.
Oh I know. But Mexican space feminists are the worst. It's not just boring, stupid, or overly childish like the first 3 seasons, they're actively detestable characters.
Last Jedi for me. I could tolerate the prequels and Force Awakens. Last Jedi made none of it matter, so I stopped caring. What a truly cynical and utter waste of a film.

I throw it in between 2 and 3 when I marathon all six Star Wars films because it directly ties into the third film. It's awesome.
All of that was awesome.
coolest obi wan
Return of the Jedi was a huge dissapointment as a kid compared to Empire Strikes Back then Phantom Menace completely killed the movies for me. I did like that era of games but the best ones were only tangentially related to the movies.
I didn't give a flying frick about Star Wars until I played KOTOR. Still a fricking banger of a video game, and easily one of the most memorable western RPGs despite its technical flaws.
How the original cast was handled. That's it
Episode 1
It was George just not listening to all of his director friends and letting someone else direct his fricking movies. But his ego got in the way and he was mad at Titanic so he had to write scripts for prequel movies he didn't exactly want to make
Are you moronic?
He didn't want to direct the Prequels, but all his Director friends told him he had to.
That's exactly what I just fricking said...
No, you said "he didn't let his friends direct the movies"
You know he asked every director friend he knew, right? He asked Spielberg to direct Phantom Menace and he correctly said no, he asked Coppola, he also smartly said no. He asked everyone before he decided to do it himself. He says exactly that in the Phantom Menace behind the scenes doc.
So you agree that it wasn't an ego thing and he tried to find directors for his movies.
Your concession has been accepted.
I'm a different anon bud
So you agree he was saying shit.
Good.
What a weird win you think you got lol you were completely wrong about the fact regarding other directors.
You admitted Georges was looking for his friends to direct the movie.
Right?
have a nice day you fricking homosexual moron
prequelbabies sure are mad today, why don't you use your words little buddy?
Ashoka (the character, not the series) was my warning sign something wasn't right. The Mortis arc made me realize it was busted.
I’ve always thought Star Wars was incredibly corny and made fun of people who liked it. Still do. Nerds!
KK
TLJ started but RoS and Mando S2 completely burried it. I'm now completely apathetic to SW. Should have seen it coming since the first signs of the IP becoming iredeemable garbage started appearing with The Clone Wars baby cartoon Cinemaphile was shilling up till Ahsoka came out.
Nothing. The OT will always be there.
The clone wars is one the best star wars pieces of media to ever come out. What are you talking about?
>The clone wars is one best star wars pieces of media to ever come out
>The clone wars is one the best star wars pieces of media to ever come out
Source?
About half of it sucks.
it ruined the previously established and more coherent canon of the conflict from clone wars multimedia project, that shit fit right into the movies and didn't feel out of place meanwhile with TCW I'm supposed to pretend while watching Revenge of The Sith that Anakin has this orange buttcheeks padawan in some pacifist mandalorian planet dueling a robotic darth maul.
Least butthurt EUtroon!
This based autist destroys all of you TCW zoomers
?feature=shared
?feature=shared
Buy an ad, homosexual. Make your own arguments, instead of linking some gay ass essays.
But anyway, this autismo also makes basically the same "arguments" as the previous moron: "George didn't care!!1" Source? Dude, trust me. He is just another butthurt EUtroon, who blatantly ignores facts and bends reality in his sick little head.
Here's a recent one that's pretty well made for your watchlist.
This guy thinks Andor is better than the OT, he thinks Rebels is good, and he hates the prequels, by the way.
Wow that sucks, too bad he's right about TCW.
>he hates the prequels, by the way.
Based. Might give this video a watch now.
>the guy suggested that a video game protagonist should be named Darth Icky
As a "Frick off, I'm not making Starkiller an official Sith" joke.
Mando was good for a season until disney decided to tie in everything else into it
Everything after revenge of the sixth
Once geroge Lucas sold, it almost instantlywent to shit. APOLOGIZE Cinemaphile
This saved star wars for me
My condolences.
Phantom Menace like everyone else.
>When holes write your franchise, you get whatever Lucasfilm shits out
>When male nerds write your franchise, you get pic related
I'm so fricking glad the danger hairs at Lucasfilm dont play video games.
>>When male nerds write your franchise, you get pic related
You get effeminate gay-looking, bland, boring, cookie cutter jedi protagonist #204? Epic.
>You get effeminate gay-looking, bland, boring, cookie cutter jedi protagonist #204? Epic.
Better than #203
cal's no kyle katarn but he's certainly the most engaging protagonist to come out of nu wars.
Reminder all nu wars is homosexual shit.
>When male nerds write your franchise, you get Luke Skywalker but boring
He's definitely not the worst but these games are always more nostalgic style over substance. At least he wasn't so shit in Jedi Survivor.
>Be Lucasfilm
>Want to ruin yet another straight white male Star Wars character
>Hollywood cabal prevents the casting of redheads in major projects
>But you cant race swap him because his actor literally exists
kek
they almost ruined his girlfriend in a tie in novel written by sam maggs
Wasn't she gay in the novel and Cal felt cucked? I remember hearing something akin to this and it is by Sam Maggs after all.
The beard helps A LOT.
I lost the copy pasta that points out all the ways he acts like a pedo.
She was in it to explain why she'd name her son Ben. That's literally it.
Call him by his name and see him squirm, folks 🙂
Well he is a cartoontroony so it makes sense why he would troon out when you don't call him by his prefered pronouns and names.
>the clone wars
>it was actually one war
>clones were on the winning side
great worldbuilding, georgie
It was a war across many worlds. So it was many wars, in a sense.
were on the winning side
Were they, though? The only one who won was Palpatine.
The show related media sucked too, I was thinking of stuff like Darth Plagueis.
The time TCW came out was the time that most everything about Star Wars was going to shit.
It's a crime that LucasArts scrapped JK3, BF3 and KotOR 3.
I'm nostalgiagayging about... games getting cancelled? Huh? What's your problem?
>KotOR 3 never went beyond anything but a pitch meeting
Obsidian didn't get far for their KOTOR 3, but LucasArts did.
Pretty sure it was just Uncharted with a Star Wars skin.
That we never got 1313 is the biggest disappointment of all. We could have had R-rated young Boba Fett kino.
1313 was supposed to tie in with George's Underworld show. The latter not happening meant its video game tie-in wouldn't either.
It all went to shit when the crack bears showed up. So the half way point of the third movie, and the first I ever saw at the Kinoplex. Literally, as it was in Vienna at the time.
Agreed
This dumbfrick cartoon and all the horseshit within it/the autistic fanbase it generated are the true cause of the downfall of Star Wars
Frick Dave Filoni
>What ruined Star Wars for you.
The Last Jedi. It wasn't just a bad movie but it destroyed Luke Skywalker as a character and the entire star wars setting with its hyperspeed ramming etc.
It's so petulant to say this. Most of the Luke stuff in TLJ was George's idea to begin with
All the major aspects of tlj were devised by Ryan jonshon and ultimately KK.
This has been a lie, it's always a lie. In the BTS they literally talk about the early concepts George gave Disney.
False
I know you are an idiot but it's not false. The entire hermit Luke shit was all specifically George. You can't just say things and hope nobody corrects you
And was Luke trying to kill Kylo George's idea too?
That one was a fusion, but what's your point? Wrong about one thing so hope to be right about another?
>MUH HECKIN' GEORGE WOULD HAVE MADE THE SAME MOVIE 1:1 WITH A TITTY MILKING LUKE GETTING BTFO'D BY HIS YOUNG STUDENTS CONSTANTLY IGNORING HIS ROTJ CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
George and Disney can both frick themselves to be honest. The former for selling out to the people he called white slavers and the latter for being a soulless corporation
It's pathetic how Disney drones try to do damage control here.
>reality is damage control
Star Wars fans are insane.
I'm not spoon-feeding some fricking zoomer, it both in the BTS for the film and when you go online and look up George's concepts for the new trilogy he pitched to Disney, most of which were unused. Everyone knows this. They didn't reject everything, they kept what they thought were the "good" ideas.
>Admitting he has nothing.
Good thing we agree TLJ is shit
>zoomer prequelbaby doesn't know this very basic fact about TLJ
look man, I know you watched Revenge of the Sith as a child but he's mostly filled with bad ideas and the actual damage control is Disney pretending they didn't use any of his aspie ideas....because they thought it was genius only to realize George is a moron and they made a huge mistake.
It's too late, you admitted TLJ was shit.
You agreed it was shit, there is nothing you Can Do now.
>star wars fans are ESL
color me shocked
>the guy who came up with Jar Jar doesn't have bad ideas
I call bullshit. I’ve never seen George say he had wanted to tear Luke down in the way TLJ did.
He discussed wanting Luke to “pass the torch” like Obi-Wan, and that is decisively not what Luke does in TLJ.
He has always said the heroes of the OT were meant to live “happily ever after” and end up in a good place.
The backstories of TFA and TLJ would've been part of the main story for George's ST.
TCW isnt the problem
TCW fans are
because TCW fans demand more stories with TCW characters, they keep on ending up in shows that they shouldnt really be in, same applies to rebels and its characters
you cant tell new stories with new characters because there must be an existing TCW or Rebels character there who will steal the spotlight (mostly ahsoka)
the exception is a show like the bad batch, as its basically just TCW season 7.5 (still surprised ahsoka hasnt shown up in it yet)
It's fine it's just the fans that are fricking annoying and filonis bullshit with bringing back dead chatacters
>saves star wars in 2023
Mando S3 was shit
Ahsoka was shit
Bad Batch S2 was clone kino
Couldn't care less about Filoni's Delta Squad ripoff.
>its bad because nobody watched it!
in that logic, ahsoka was good because people watched and talked about it, even though its a piece of shit
You seem to have trouble reading
>The show was so bad, no one wanted to watch it
And they were right. Only manchildren like you could clap at this shit you post
>doesn't mention Andor, the best thing to happen to Star Wars since the first Mando season
andor was 2022, im talking about 2023
>Saves Star Wars
>No one watched it because it was so shit
>Left no footnote in anyone's SW discussion because it was so shit
I don't think you know what saving Star Wars means
>Bad Batch S2 was clone kino
The two crosshair episodes were 10/10 but that's just two episodes. The remaining 80% of the season was standard Bad Batch, i.e. middling romps that are light on storytelling but at least they're well animated.
Bad Batch could have been good if it didn't keep contradicting itself and retcon a bunch of shit. Just because there were only 2 episodes it doesn't make it good.
This. I can't believe people to this day STILL believe that TFA was anything above watchable. TFA set the path for the rest of the trilogy to begin with and ruined the OT characters by making them failures on top of killing Han off for no reason.
The fans.
The Force Awakens, and anyone who says The Last Jedi is a genuine moron. The writing was on the wall for two years. Anyone who walked out of the theater after TFA and thought it was in ANY way a decent film deserves all the slop they get.
Ah, I see TLJ baiters arrived.
The prequels and then all garbage that was somehow even worse.
Star Wars has way more shit than good now, I think the only franchise with a lower average is Terminator. Let it all die.
Star Wars fans are insufferable homosexual manchildren crying over shitty kid’s movies
bacta tanks
BOYEGA JUMP SCARE
I don't like a lot of Disney SW
TFA was ok, it could and should have been a lot better
TLJ is fricking trash.
Rouge One slaps
Solo is even more trash than TLJ
Visions slaps as well, even more so because it's animated.
Both versions of Clone Wars are good. I like them both
Currently my brain is just running through ideas on a rewrite of the sequel trilogy and so far I've made a mix of ROTJ and Jedi Academy
>contrarian still pretending R1 was good
I genuinely like the movie. I think it's good.
Granted the ai stuff is mega cringe.
All the best shit came from the reshoots of which Gilroy, writer of Andor, was heavily involved with.
Sum of the parts don't make the movie good. Nothing actually happens in it. Best shit is unironically anything to deal with the Empire
>STAR THE CLONE WARS WARS
I don't get it
George Lucas when he sold the work of life to souless israelites knowing what they would do with it.
He did it because he couldn’t get his Underworld show made. No network would fund it and he was disbarred from building a studio on the land he bought. So he gave up and sold everything.
the second I found out they were doing another Death Star in The Force Awakens, that's when I knew that star wars was creatively bankrupt.
Ironically enough, it was Revenge of the Sith
and Backstroke of the West redeemed it
>Ahsoka meets 2 totally-not-Mexican space mechanics arc
I forgot how awful this is. It barely passes as background noise while posting here.
Most of TCW is background noise. Some people praise it because of survivorship bias, they don't remember all the slop they only remember the order 66 scenes and think that's the show.
Oh I know. But Mexican space feminists are the worst. It's not just boring, stupid, or overly childish like the first 3 seasons, they're actively detestable characters.
star wars was ruined by people like you b***hing about how star wars is ruined
stupid homosexual
