For me it's Gundam and any show with mechshit.
You have never felt depressed if you can just simply "get off your ass and do something about it" >inb4 work out and go out like a normal person
I've been doing both for years and I don't feel any better...

then i straight up don't believe you. there's maybe a few percent of "depressed" people that really have a broken brain and the rest of you just got a bs diagnosis because psychiatry is a scam and you accepted it because it's easier than admitting that you're the source of your own problems. like - phew, it's not me, it's a disease - i'm off the hook then.
Anon, I feel what he’s saying.
I procrastinated like hell and the only time that I get the willpower to do anything about it is the night before, where I am so crippled by dread that I can’t even enjoy a simple TV show. I get so overwhelmed that I don’t even start the project either though, and I just do dumb shit like browse Cinemaphile.
Days before that, though? Yeah, those days I’m watching shit like Malcolm in the Middle or whatever else I’m watching through at the moment.
This "humor" has been polluting the zeitgeist for nearly a decade now and I was over it on week 1 >i wanna le die >muh existential dread >clinical depression >voices in my head >inability to connect to others in a meaningful way
etc.
That's it, just bring up these things, bonus points if they make no sense in context, that's the "joke", it's the *holds up spork* of this era, bunch of unfunny homosexuals
Had a gf for a while who would come home from work, take her pants off and request I go down on her while she watched tv. Typically she put on M*A*S*H* or Frasier. Kinda ruined the shows for me because they remind me of her and I miss her.
Utterly based. I'm at around 133 hours played right now since I picked it back up again. So much to do in that game and I haven't even completed half the quests or any of the main questlines yet. Reached level cap though and have busted equipment, but I am on hardest difficulty slider and purposefully use shittier stuff than I can so it is at least somewhat challenging.

I can't relate to this shitty twitter meme at all, as I don't have depression, and I find all TV shows extremely fricking boring.
I'd much rather listen to music and browse the internet or watch youtube in my downtime
If i'm feeling sick or something I usually watch cartoons. Spongebob, Billy and Mandy, Zim, PPG, Teenage robot etc etc. Sometimes I watch something new. I had a stomach thing last year and binged OK KO which was actually pretty fun.
If i'm feeling sad? Like a little baby back b***h? I chug a fricking BANG energy and rock out. Watching shit and feeling sad are a no go, bro. Dunno how people do it.
I wish streaming services (yes, I know) had the ability to put your favorite episodes or seasons into a playlist and just shuffle them like songs. Would be nice background noise not having to think about what you’re going to choose to watch next. It’s what I’ve been lacking for background noise ever since DirecTV became too damn expensive.
I didn't even read the thread with 4 other responses, I guess american dad is pretty popular huh.
I wonder what the ratings are compared to family guy.

Relatable meme about putting on a show in the background to distract you from real life.
I find this is most relatable on the Sunday night before work/school. Unless there was something huge on Monday, Sunday nights before always felt worse to me than Monday (of course, something huge coming up on Monday made Sundays that much more miserable.)
I would distract myself from this by putting on a comfort show, and that was varying degrees of successful because sometimes I was very aware of how much preparation time for Monday it would make me miss out on.
Seinfeld, American Dad, and 30 Rock used to be on heavy rotation in my house. We’d sit down for dinner to an episode, and end up watching three. I kind of miss those days, especially since I haven’t swapped that for some more productive activity.
Lately though, it’s been Monster Quest.
>The Flash >Supernatural >The Magicians >Dragon Ball Z Abridged >Spider-Man Animated Series from the 90's
can you tell i'm slowly being crushed one day at a time by how mundane and devoid of wonder the world is?
>flash >supernatural
I will never understand how people can enjoy these, they are fricking awful shows. But then again you’d probably feel the same about some shit i watch so whatever.
Supernatural and The Flash both started off really strong (particularly for the eras their pilots aired in). one's just an emotionally compelling story about a pair of brothers hunting monsters and trying to outgame fate, and the other is a slightly cheesier Raimi Spider-Man for the first few Seasons except instead of being about Peter Parker and Spider-Man it's about Barry Allen and The Flash. Flash is a harder sell but i think anyone who liked Power Rangers as a kid could probably understand the appeal. it's like a more mature take on campy Saturday morning Sentai that takes itself more seriously.
Dick and Dom In Da Bungalow
It's a kids show from Bongland that I grew up watching and the main draw is that the hosts were on cocaine the entire time and everything devolved into insanity on a weekly basis
It was so crazy that it got discussed in the Bongland government for being unsuitable to show to kids
Usually I put on some radio show like Boston Blackie, Johnny Dollar, or Dragnet.
For shows, it's Welcome Back Kotter or Moonlighting. That Bruce Willis is a hoot.

I responded to the question in the OP, yes.
Oh so you are not depressed, just autistically replying to every thread regardless if it applies to you. Gotcha. homosexual.
