What shows genuinely keep up the same level of quality for multiple seasons or even it's entire run?
I've been thinking about this lately and I think very few tv shows are actually worth going beyond a season 1. Many, many shows have really good season 1 that wraps up nicely then it gets extended and extended and every time it's extended it goes down hill.
breaking bad
Breaking bad gets worse every season. Season 1 was made and works by itself and is the most grounded season with the least amount of bullshit.
S2 and 3 fricking suck dude what
BB stunk by the end. They didn't have the balls to let WW win but lose everything in the process
>They didn't have the balls to let WW win but lose everything in the process
This guy owns that territory, anyway.
Yeah it's bad from the start.
why are so many morons saying breaking bad?
Because it takes a lot of time to watch a tv show and bb is the most highly praised show out there so it’s likely all they’ve seen.
For me it’s the sopranos, endlessly entertaining
I can kind of agree on that. I think season 1 of sopranos is really weak but it gets much better after that
Because it really doesn't fluctuate in quality that much
Literally the most consistent drama of all time. Stay mad.
Because they're morons.
Breaking bad
Hannibal
S3 was meh, the ending was decent though
it felt more like I was watching Gotham lmao
Breaking Bad
The Boys
Metal Gear Solid
>Metal Gear Solid
It had one good season then coasted on reputation for decades.

Friday Night Lights
the wire is consistently good
The Shield is the only one
Person of Interest is the only show in existence that got better with each season. Shame it didn't get renewed for two more seasons as it should have.
Hannibal was good for two seasons but this quackery was just too boring and out there
Homeland
24
The Shield
Excellent taste, anon
Breaking Bad unironically
BCS is boring as frick S1 and S4 so doesn't count
The Boys is good/trash/Kino-complete utter shit in the last ep so doesn't count
BCS season 1 is kinda boring but it's like...cozy boring if that makes any sense? If there weren't story foundations being laid it'd be great to just throw on and fall asleep to.
Angel, which actually gets better and better from beginning to end, save some hiccups in S04 which still had tons of kino. The final season, S05, is widely regarded to as the best and the series finale is likewise considered one of the best in all of television.
Seinfeld
Agents of shield, only got better as it went
Malcolm in the Middle
The characters become flanderized and how characters act waver between episodes.
This is a good choice
Are we just talking shows or cartoons too? Cause the Spiderman cartoon that was on fox was pretty fricking solid. The show Hung ended a little to early. You could cheat and go one season shows like firefly. Blue mountain state is pretty good and steady in quality. I'd have to go thru them again but I liked married with children constantly but that might be blurred by nostalgia. Did the Fringe get bad? I'd say Hannibal but that got overtly homoerotic and that's saying alot when talking about Hannibal. Why is everyone always whispering when no one else is around? How many seasons of samurai shampoo are there?
>What shows genuinely keep up the same level of quality for multiple seasons or even it's entire run?
Babylon 5
Hannibal
The Shield
BattleStar Galatica
Babylon 5 and BSG are definitely not an example of that. The Shield maybe
Mad Men
he looks like a homosexual
dude is getting too into himself
it's okay to dress like a homosexual if it looks good on you, dude pulls it off.
Cinemaphile disagrees but picrel is kino from A-Z.
Black Sails. Season 1 is the worst season.
King of the Hill
Cheers
Many British shows given the small number of episodes
KotH drops off hard after mike judge steps down as a lead writer and the show jumps the shark a lot as it gets more and more ridiculous and flanderized, like most tv comedies
