I really like how they still kept him as a terrible father, but made him understand how shit he was to his daughter. He fully understands how horrible it was to leave his own daughter to die, and tries his hardest to reconcile with her. It's very well done, they don't sweep it under the rug or just completely redeem him. He sees what he did and even begins to defend his daughter. Their talk in Ep 4 was really good, he admits he's not fit to help Uzi just like he wasn't fit to help her mother - and lets her go free to figure things out on her own. I really liked that, it's some great character writing. Subtle things like him trying to run back inside the prom the help Uzi before getting locked out by Doll were nice to see as well. This show handles show-don't-tell pretty well.

As of now the Murder Drones pilot has had growth of 8 million since Digital Circus' pilot dropped, and the other episodes have had equal growth as well. So 90% of Murder Drones' popularity was self-grown before The Amazing Digital Circus.
