OP what outrage is there? She's a footnote character that is of no consequence in the series. You'd have a case if it were Atom Eve

Considering how The Boys came out. I'd be surprised if they didn't have that scene.

You know why. You can rather particularly tell why, too, by how they also change her to be the apotheosis of SJW feminists, with absurd self-righteousness, to boot, which is clearly treated by the show as correct.

You want the truth? Bear with me here. Okay, so women spend more money than men. About 70% of all money that gets spent in this country each year is spent by women. Women are more likely to be interested in racial activism than men. Ergo, to cater to women they add these sorts of things that pander to the ideologies that women are more likely to possess.

Corporations like money, and male-dominated markets like comics, videogames, and other nerdy shit are missing out on a MASSIVE share of the potential consumer base. That's the real point to all this. The real reason these companies and corporations keep pushing this stuff.

They think it appeals more to women. They DESPERATLEY want to attract women to these male-dominated markets. They NEED those big spenders who buy all the merchandise. And if they can get women to start paying then they won't need the mens' money anymore, because women spend so much more money. So who cares if it alienates some fricking nerds. Nobody cares about nerds. Nobody cares about men. Especially not the men in charge of these places, they only care about profit.

How do they do that when men make more money?

Not that anon, but consumer spending vs necessary spending. As much as this sounds like incel statiatics, despite cries for equality men are largely (in non black households) considered reaponsible for paying bills, buying houses, and other necessary expenses. This, coupled with it being more socially acceptable for women to remain at home with parents longer than men, means they can afford to apens on consumer items.

        >False
Women make more money than men in every industry. However female dominated industries make less in comparison to male dominated ones. So the gender pay gap is actually a comparison of waitresses and nurses vs bankers and programers. By changing the dialogue the focus on gender, the problem never actually resolves and this can be used as leverage to make even more indefinitely.
The only viable solution is for men to quit working all together and to focus on looking good, throwing parties, and excluding women who don't worship them.

it could be argued that her skin color is what changed her personality for the worse

i mean, anybody's who read Walking Dead knows how Kirkman tends to write black women.

        I disagree.
Her character would have "worked" just as well if she were white or Asian.
She was that much of a one dimensional character.

          >Her character would have "worked" just as well if she were white or Asian
          I didn't say it couldn't. I'm say she was turned into a b***hy c**t because Kirkman writes black women as b***hy c**ts.

Didn't he make 2 white women in the walking dead b***hy c**ts? The white girl had a shitty kid in a zombie outbreak, while the black girl was a zombie killer with a sword.

Can you elaborate on him hating black people just like you a little better.

    It's weird though.

They made her black, but imo, much more clearly at fault in the relationship. Downright manipulative and selfish. And I can't tell if the writers mean to do this.

In the comics there is an argument to be made for Mark's neglect of her. Not in the animated program.
