It's also frail as shit and unable to actually launch ICBMs as far as i remember.
Rex meanwhile would have been invincible if otakon hadn't installed an intended weakspot.
Aren't all of them kinda shit? The peace walker ones are AI, the shagohod isn't bipedal and needs a long as hell runway, the sahelantropus is sich a hunk of trash you need a powerful esper to actually ever make it work / enable it to walk, etc.
Only Zeke is any good and as far as I remember TX is still a better weapons launching platform or something.
People shit on Portable Ops because Kojima retconned it and replaced it with Peace Walker, but RAXA and the ICBMG fit the period aesthetic much better than ZEKE and Huey's AI weapons.
The only thing about MPO that really still stands is BB forming FOXHOUND and Zero seizing the Philosopher's Legacy in 1970, the circumstances of which are still pretty murky. It's not mentioned once in PW beyond a throwaway line by Miller and it's outright contradicted by a few tapes in MGSV. So it's pretty safe to say that Sokolov didn't survive, Python never existed, Gene never led FOX's uprising etc.
It's a shame too since it's a better sequel to 3 than Peace Walker was.
Yeah if you actually play the games you'd know. It's a rickety bridge of plot contrivances and unreliable narrators with selective amnesia, but its continuous.
The joke is that all the previous models to the TX where made or related to Huey, who is an incompetent hack. Also the only one to truly work is the TX
The joke is all the metal gear prequels had awesome giant robots and the first game which is after those in universe has a ahitty one
When did Metal Gear jump the shark?
Metal Gear Solid.
ZEKE, it's from thirty years before REX but twice as agile.

Yes it is.
>AZ is now a dead webcomic from 10 years ago
Oh and I guess Katie's dad is still fricking insane.
It was last updated on monday
Katie draws very cute metal gears.

>because Kojima retconned it
I'm fairly certain it's semi canon and that peace walker's set up is built on it

Wait. Metal gear has continuity?

Metal Gear is the most famous continuous story in video games. How could you possibly think it was episodic?
