Hollyweirdos tried the original story of the 47 ronin a monster film on a historical incident ia Jspsn guy going suicide bomber kamukaze and was forced to commit seppuku (ritual suicide) his loyal samurai followerstried revenge. The Jpn film and 'Strange Beast' kaiju. A Lizard giant with the powers of Ocean and a metaphor for Hiroshima. He's like a cat demon dog that represents Tsunamis, Nuclear War, Quakes and Volcanoes. Every age has its monsters, for the USA its the wild dangerous Native American running free getting shot by the hero cowboy or modern hysteria about Trump or marxist islamo looter and murder mobs burning cities for George Floyd, Japan had Buddhism tales and Shinto monsters Godzilla mixes new and old culture, not exclusively an Atom Age metaphor
just got around to watching this and have been avoiding the threads til now
why didn't the main guy evacuate at least his wife and child when he had the chance? they literally said godzilla was coming but the japanese govt was going to keep it under wraps. he had ample time to get his new family out
also, what point in the war does this take place in? where is the bomb? is godzilla's attack on gizan supposed to be representative of the bomb, or is it just some random attack?
>also, what point in the war does this take place in? where is the bomb? is godzilla's attack on gizan supposed to be representative of the bomb, or is it just some random attack?
the absolute state of speedwatchers
Godzilla did not attack the place where they lived. He attacked another district where the woman worked, and they had no way of knowing where he would turn up in the end.
He was punishing the MC for his cowardice, trying to force him to do the right thing. It’s why everywhere he goes, he’s the only survivor, he’s being punished with life.
nuke made him deadpool tier unkillable, 60m tall nuke puking monster.
Muricans and russkies figured that much out, ghosted and left nips to deal with a walking armageddon by themeselves
>84Goji killed Russians >HeiseiGoji attacked Hongkong >GMKGoji killed Americans
It's often forgotten that Godzilla also kills non-Japanese people.
He hates all humanity and its civilization.
>suiciding yourself for roasties is... LE GOOD!
>complaining about the opposite of what he did in the movie

This is starting to feel a Godzilla board and I love it
I doubted, it seemed like too little production time with too little a budget
I'M SORRY, I'LL NEVER DOUBT TOHO AGAIN
probably angry to have been nuclear bombed the frick out of nowhere without his duly written authorization
He thinks the nips are gross and disgusting.
He also killed Americans in the movie.
He mistook the American ships for Japanese ships. He apologized and went straight for mainland Japan.
that explains why the americans didnt bother helping.
soviets were just an excuse, they were actually just in good standing with godzilla
he was just chillin until the US woke him up with a nuke
>slant eyed fricking shits, kamikazing up his comfy home island
>burger fricking murricans, nuking him
>both for being on his turf
simple as
He was punishing the MC for his cowardice, trying to force him to do the right thing. It’s why everywhere he goes, he’s the only survivor, he’s being punished with life.
Does this movie really expect me to believe that Russia and America wouldn't team up to kill a monster like this?
The moment it survives a contact nuke is when everyone shits their pants.
