He's one of my favorite "straight men" of all time, which made it all the funnier when he would slip and do crazy shit. "Fry Legs" is one of my top five favorite episodes.

Frylock is funny but he falls into the straight man category when Carl isn't around, making him weaker than Meatwad and Shake. They're all still great characters, he's just the weakest out of the 3

Does Carl call Shake, Cup often or just the one episode?
I'm trying to google it but I'm not getting anywhere.
He calls him cup in a couple episodes, but most times he only calls Frylock by nicknames like fry man. Also a few times he calls Meatwad meatball.
Episodes he calls Master Shake cup: Lasagna and Laser Lenses. There's maybe 2 more I think?
in some episodes his full catholic name Drink Cup is also used.

can i just say that i really appreciate the autism over a shitty late night show that has been dead for years. i feel so belonging.
I've been bingeing the show again lately, almost every episode is timeless. Without even knowing the references they're making it's still hilariously written and visually animated. It's scientifically designed to be stupidly memorable. I'm glad I was exposed to the show early as a kid by sleeping over my redneck friends house.
Didn't Adult Swim use pics of it as bumpers between shows? I recall seeing it multiple times a week.

I would have loved to see another episode with Meatwads crayon drawings, it's so cute.
This show has some genuinely horrifying scenarios too.
Especially if you go into the show after watching only mostly normal stuff where normal things happen and you get some sort of strange uncaring apocalypse every other episode.

Something about shows where episodes can end in main characters dying and it doesn't matter in the next episode makes them much better than other shows. I guess it's because nothing is really off limit. Anyone know of any other shows that do this? Only other show that comes to mind was on Adult Swim as well, Space Dandy.
sealab2021 did this as well and i think the brak show, i think it was just the style of early adult swim. Neither of those shows is as quality as ATHF though and that's saying something.
The Don't Hug Me I'm Scared show did that with the death episode.
The TV series for DHMIS is probably the modern equivalent to Aqua Teen. Until Aqua Teen comes back later this month, anyway.
