The later ones get dragged down by the "young adult dystopia" trope, and some weird high school angst but if you don't think too hard about it it's fine.
They all of that Victorian era england sort aesthetic to them which never gets old.
There's some nazi imagery and shit but it was done at a time before the boy had cried wolf a thousand times so it's not quite as cringey.
They all have their moments and a lot of those really warm feeling instances where classic fundamental morals are explored. The kind of thing literally every non sociopath can relate to (aka the stuff you never see anymore) so I would say they're worth a watch. Much better than the crap they shit out these days.
