What the hell is the point of Green Arrow? Really, he's just such a lame character; in a world with all kinds of supernatural, alien, and fantasy shit, I'm supposed to be impressed by a regular fricking archer?
Batman doesn't have superpowers but at least he's interesting and creative in his fighting style and use of gadgets. Shooting arrows and doing acrobatics does not equal impressive. Especially when guns exist and have so many advantages over arrows even if you're not an expert marksman.
The fact that they've tried to meme this character into relevance for decades and still can't make him cool or stand out in any meaningful way says it all.

I never read Green Arrow comics because he was an archer. I read them because he was a sanctimonious frick up dead beat dad who bangs hot chicks and gets his shit kicked in all the time but keeps going despite being outmatched by the world around him. That's why he gets paired up so well with other heroes. He's a little dose of reality stacked against the fantastic so you can see how absurd or powerful the other guy is while giving the other guy perspective as well.
