So he isn’t stripped naked when he flies into a building. The fact that Superman can do all that and not have his flimsy tights tear and shred is less realistic than wearing armor.
Superman is only strong due to the Earth's yellow sun. If goes off world too far from it his powers can start to fade.
Like anon said as well protection from Kryptonite and shit that can harm him like magic or someone on par with his strength.
>Superman is only strong due to the Earth's yellow sun. If goes off world too far from it his powers can start to fade.
He would have to travel at greater than the speed of light for like 3 billion years in a straight line without stopping in order to no longer be hit by rays from our sun.
There have been times where he been depowered in other parts of the universe or near a red sun.
A red sun literally fricks him up.
Also it's comic book logic not actual science.
>A red sun literally fricks him up.
Okay, I can accept the premise that the further he gets from Earth's sun the more he gets exposed to the rays of other colors of sun and that dilution reduces his powers.
>Also it's comic book logic not actual science.
At some point they tried to use more scientific explanations for Superman's powers. Like the radiation from Earth's sun is what gives him power and Kryptonite emits gamma rays that's why it kills him but then it sort of got forgotten and back to him and others like him being powered by sun beams and shit.
while Superman has super human strength and immortal resilience, he doesn't have a super human body image. he's insecure about his figure and is using the armor to create a bodily shape that's more congruent with the image of himself he has in his mind. and for that, he IS super human and validated.
why would superman need an armored powersuit? even if it's not a powersuit then would good would a armored suit be good for on a person who is capable of crushing and ripping off chunks of it with ease and goes toe-to-toe with beings that are more than capable of doing the same thing?
He never had that hairline
>what they took from me
Is there a name for the terrible line trend in these superhero stuff?
Greeble.
shes so ugly
doesnt matter what costume you put her in she looks like shit
for that you get more Sersh
see this guy has taste
looks like tara
Based anon
Why would the Man of Steel need armor?
Kardassian bullets or whatever the frick his weakness is
Anti Kryptonite armor
Why does he need 100 layers of anti-kryptonite armor? If it worked, one would be sufficient.
As the outer layers lose integrity, the inner layers hold.
It's reactive armor for antitank kryptonite missiles
To hide his girlish twink figure, he is more imposing this way
>NOOOOOOO SUPERMAN CAN'T HAVE SOME DARK STREAK IN HIM HE HAS TO BE CLOWN SHOW REPRESENTATION OF 50S AMERICAS IDEAL
they should have had him as Tombstone in a spiderman movie, then had him show up again in the Blade movie for a little teamup.
Why is he dressed like jorge from halo reach?
who took what
why are capeshitters so cringe
Depending on how his 40k works out this might have been a good thing.
If he's a space marine he'll look more or less like this anyway.
I like it. Reminds me of the early Iron Man armor designs before the CGIshit they started shoving down our throats.
Chad Superman
He'd be good as the MC in a pic related adaptation
Darrow is like 21 at the start of Morning Star
So?
He’s too old man
why would an invincible alien need armor?
Anti kryptonite maybe? Lost the helm in a fight or something?

His suit is made from fabric that nearly as strong as his skin.
If you see his suit damaged it means he's up against a strong foe.

Even AI knows how loose that neck bawd's neck is.
