Lobo was a parody of comic characters from the time. So for New 52 they made nu-Lobo based on 2010s comic characters. It was bad, but it made sense what they were doing. Donte was just shit.
I wish we saw the dante from this promo art and the original trailers, he looked more interesting, the one in the game that eventually came out looked nothing like him
I don't even hate nu-Lobo once I actually read a comic with him in it, he just... couldn't be Lobo. If he were some other Czarnian it would have been fine.
I think that's worse actually, since it still kinda looks like the original but gayged up. Going with the completely different one at least led to the original coming back unchanged.
I'm still upset they changed DmC Dante design to something more 'clean' and changed the setting from sci-fi to fantasy. The creators never made the game they wanted originally.

Anger.
What kind of fricking name for your comeback album is "Street Anger"? I don't get it.
They picked it over Anger Avenue.
Lobo and even Nu-lobo have very little in common with either Dante, I don't get this comparison.
Frick you!
Frick you!
Frick both of you!
FRICK YOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUAAAAAAGGHHHH!
Original dante would make fun of the other 3

I actually liked the concept art for lobo even if it is overdesigned.
At least it nails the gay biker aesthetic.

It was the second coming of attitude and the general audience getting wind of memes. I also remember shit like Borderlands becoming huge.
it was the beginning of futile attempts to draw in new reader demographics like women
dmc4 is 2008
OP is talking about DMC emo reboot. It came out in 2013
